Amit Pahuja if you want to go for a tv that requires a external set top box you should go for Iffalcon 40f2a i also have same and as its stock android accessibility is best. regarding mi tv it also has talkback out of the box but accessibility i dont know. regarding service centers we dont need to worry much only it should be in our city or district cause we are not going to take the tv to the service center they will come home and fix things. regarding thundering and lightning no1 will gurenty that the product will last thats why if you open the first or second page of even the most expensive tv its said unplug it if there is a thunder storm. so if you follow what they say it will have no problems. Re: [AI] require recommendation for a smart tv.
one addition to all users of this TV, that once you have setup wifi or lan connection on your TV, you need not to select each time your wifi or fill password. also if you have a wifi display on your mobile phone, just switch on your wifi display and your audio and screen will automatically pear with your TV. you can view your netflix or amazon prime on your mobile phone and watch it on your television. no need a separate password for wifi display. this tv have wifi direct feature. -Original Message- From: Austin Pinto Sent: Monday, January 07, 2019 10:28 AM To: AccessIndia: a list for discussing accessibility and issues concerning the disabled. Re: [AI] require recommendation for a smart tv.
it is an integrated digital television. no requirement of separate settop box. also multiple connectivity through one cable. like audio, video, headphone etc. as you insert sim in your mobile phone, same is for IDTV, insert DTH sim in the slot of television, subject to your television should compatible with that DTH service provider. However, the demo is not in a difficult hindi, most of the terms used in this demo are in english. I don't think that this would cause any difficulty to understand. I have tried to explain most of the feature of this TV in this demo and the speech output of TV is in english. hence, there should be no issue of language. Only it creates trouble at login for the first time in every app screen, the screen reader wont support much, but once you log into the apps, you are ready to go, it will read all. But, this is only a suggestion, not saying, hey you have to buy or nothing like that. Just, it's your consideration and decision, which you will buy finally. Choose according to your needs, opinions, requirements. Hi, I'd also recommend you the samsung M5570, which has voice guide built into it, screen reader from samsung, further, it comes within your budget also. however, it runs on an operating system called Tison or something, which is from samsung, on this television, you cannot install every app, only limited once which are available in samsung app store, and which is only compatible with this television. However, if you are looking an android TV, then it's the different matter. However, as you mentioned smart television, thought to post my suggestion. This M5570 which I also purchased just four months ago, is a good one under a good budget, it's having Three HDMI ports and Two USB ports with two 3.5MM jacks, with some internet connectivity ports. Further, It is only having, Sundirect, Airtel, DTH set top boxes in built, however, none other. If you opt for TaTasky or any other, then, you have to use the set top box, and connect to the Television through the HDMI cable. If you use Other set top boxes other than the provided in the television, the Screen reader will not read any of the menues or text from the outer set top box, which will be only connected to the television through the HDMI cable. However, if you use the set top boxes provided within the Television, then the voice guide will completely read the menues of the set top box also, along with the television menues and settings. It is also having sound mirroring and other features ETC. Further, from samsung, they also provide software updates from time to time, I updated it's software, just one weak ago. Hope this helps. Thank you. Re: [AI] require recommendation for a smart tv.
Go for Android TV. Sanyo, MI both are great. Even my grand ma use it, certainly once 'how to' was imparted. My parents use Sanyo themselves. Great sound indeed.
