Re: can't download "conversion label" field

Hi,

You may try and use the ConversionTrackerSerivce.get

 to
retrieve the ConverstionTrackers

 in
your account. From the returned information, you may then get the snippet

 of
the conversion Tracker that should contain the Conversion ID and the
Conversion Label. I hope this helps.

Thanks and regards,

can't download "conversion label" field

2017-01-16 Thread PPC Developer
Hi,

We're tracking specific user actions with different conversion actions
(goals). For instance, I have a goal called "Question Posted". And I'd like
to track "telecom carrier" of user's phone carrier (I have access to that,
and this problem can be applied to any other labeling scenario). We're
triggering Posted Question tracking code with conversion_label = TMobile or
ATT or Germany-Vodafone, etc... via JavaScript when we detect the user's
carrier.

But then, how do I pull this data? Ultimately, I'd like to analyze "Ad
Clicks to Posted Question sliced per which in this case is Telecom
Carrier string"...

ConversionTrackingService doesn't provide "conversion label" as a field.
What's the best way to do this? Also didn't understand how it's possible to
enter labels for a conversion goal but there's no way to pull that data? I
must be missing something.

Re: Using AdGroupExtensionSettingService with a user defined feed for CALLOUT extensions - EntityNotFound.INVALID_ID

2017-01-16 Thread 'Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Matt,

You are correct: you can only use the extension setting services with the
default, system-defined Feed

 for
each placeholder type
.
This will be the feed with origin = ADWORDS

.

If you want to use feed items from a different feed for a particular
placeholder type + campaign or ad group, you will have to use feed services
.

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team

CustomerService getCustomers

2017-01-16 Thread Minas Gratas

Hi there,

After having loads of suggestions from you guys I solved my problems.
However there is one thing left.
Before I begin I will add my code here so anyone can see and get an idea.

Please note; I am trying to avoid using .ini file and create this as user
authenticates with the application. I am getting my RefreshToken then I am
trying to get the ClientCustomerId to be able to fetch the campaigns.

require 'vendor/autoload.php';
use Google\AdsApi\AdWords\AdWordsServices;
use Google\AdsApi\AdWords\AdWordsSessionBuilder;
use Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201609\cm\CampaignService;
use Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201609\cm\OrderBy;
use Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201609\cm\Paging;
use Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201609\cm\Selector;
use Google\AdsApi\Common\OAuth2TokenBuilder;
use Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201609\mcm\CustomerService;
session_start();
$clientId = "*";
$clientSecret = "";
if(isset($_SESSION['refreshToken'])){
$refreshToken =  $_SESSION['refreshToken'];
}else{
$refreshToken = NULL;
}

$oAuth2Credential = (new OAuth2TokenBuilder())
->withClientId($clientId)
->withClientSecret($clientSecret)
->withRefreshToken($refreshToken)
->build();

The trick was removing ->fromFile() and adding withClientId,
withClientSecret and withRefreshToken.

All good now! The last missing puzzle is how to optain ClientCustomerId.

$session = (new AdWordsSessionBuilder())
->withClientCustomerId($clientCustomerId)
->withOAuth2Credential($oAuth2Credential)
->build();

I tried to get it like this;

$customerService = new CustomerService();
$cliendData = $customerService->getCustomers();

*However I am facing with the following error.*
*Fatal error: Call to a member function generateHttpHeaders() on null in
/vendor/googleads/googleads-php-lib/src/Google/AdsApi/Common/AdsSoapClient.php
on line 86*

Can you put me in a right direction? Because as far as I understand from
the docs here

getCustomers does not require any parameters.

Re: ad customizer with IF functions not working

2017-01-16 Thread Rotherhithe_m
Thanks Sreelakshmi for the clarification.

I wanted to ask something related to the IF Function on ad customizers:

Can you have 2 different ads using the IF functionality based on audiences
on the same adgroup?

Eg Let's say there are the audiences "mailsubscribers",
"cartabandonershighvalue", "blogvisitors"

Can we have on the same campaign different advert for each of them using
the IF Function?
Is the best execution here to include default text on all of them or not at
all and have a separate ads for the non Audience searchers?

Thanks in advance

Ilias

Sitelink Feed Services - Retrieve Existing Feeds

2017-01-16 Thread AL
Hi,

I am trying to check if a feed exists on the account and if not then create
it. I'm having trouble however with the getting of existing feed.

I want to get the feed based on a specific feed name ('Sitelinks Feed').

If the feed doesn't exist, then I want to create it with that name.

I'm using Python and API v201609.
