Re: Failed to refresh access token error after updating Google Adwords library version from v201708 to v201802

2018-03-05 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Shafeena,

Could you confirm if after your migration, you did not change the values of
your OAuth2 credentials in your property file? If you did not change anything
in your property file and if the user still exists in your AdWords account,
then it should have worked in v201802 API version.

Based on the error description "The OAUth client was not found", it seems
that the API user is not existing (or it has been removed) in your manager
or client account, or the client ID was deleted in the Google API Console
Credential  page.
So I can further investigate this, can you provide to me your complete
error logs, clientCustomerId and the email address of your API user via *Reply
privately to author* option?

Thanks,
Vincent

Duplicate Ads with Ad Customizer Script

Re: Recovering missed refresh token

2018-03-05 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Angel,

Could you confirm if you are generating OAuth2 credentials for an AdWords
account? If yes, you can follow the steps mentioned in this guide

for
the Web App flow. Once you have set up your credentials, your application
should then be able to access the APIs you wish to use without having to
manually specify them in each request.

I hope this helps and feel free to write back if you require further
information.

Best regards,
Peter

Re: adServingOptimizationStatusSpecified set to True when getting Campaigns

2018-03-05 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Trevor,

I could not see the adServingOptimizationStatusSpecified field in the
campaign level, only the adServingOptimizationStatus

 field,
and is not a Boolean type. This said, can you provide your complete SOAP
request and response logs that shows your scenario via *Reply privately to
author* so I can further check?

Also, in regards to adServingOptimizationStatus field, as you may know,
starting from v201710, this field is now a read only field (as you can see
here
)

and will default to OPTIMIZE during campaign creation. So in getting the
campaign with this field, it will return its default value.

Thanks,
Vincent

I do not use Monolog, trouble seems to be another problem.
Since it was only taking a simple log, I will reproduce it, send out a log,

Re: Why does the budget field get returned in CampaignService.get({'fields': ['Id', 'Name']})?

2018-03-05 Thread 'Milind Sankeshware (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Yang,

To pull the campaign Id

 and name
,

you need to add these fields in selector
.

To achieve this please refer the python sample code here
.

When you select all fields in selector you will get budget stats as well.
As Budget

 is
part of campaign object. If you are facing an issue please share the
complete SOAP request and response log.

Thanks,
Milind, AdWords API Team.

Re: Retrieving Adwords Ads Extension Data using API

2018-03-05 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Asad,

There is no direct way to achieve this. As a workaround, you will be able
to get the Extension name which is concatenation of the Structured Snippet
Header

 followed
by the Structured Snippet feedItem values
.

You could perform the CampaignExtensionSettingService.get()

 and
then modify the results locally to build the extension name.

Thanks,
Bharani, AdWords API Team

Recovering missed refresh token

2018-03-05 Thread Angel Lubenov
Hi!, this is my situation

I am making a web-app, it starts the authorization/authenthication flow
with oAuth (https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/v2/auth) with the
following parameters: access_type = offline, and scope = openid email.

The first authorization process ends up fine returning all the information
I need (access_token, *refresh_token* and token_id).

It turns out that the user may need to perform the authentication flow
several times from different browsers, but since the 2nd time I don't get
the access_token anymore.

I read that if you specify the parameter prompt=consent the user will
always be prompted for authorization, but it returns a new refresh token
each time, that is not convenient for me because the user may use several
instances of the same application from different places so the refresh
token must remain the same.

Is there a way to get ALWAYS the same refresh_token from each
authentication procces?
Or, is there an endpoint to request for the current refresh_token ?

Thanks in advance!

adServingOptimizationStatusSpecified set to True when getting Campaigns

2018-03-05 Thread Trevor Sanders
When updating to v201802, I came across a migration issue that is
associated with v201710. I am using the dotnet client library to get
campaigns from the API, perform some updates to them, and make mutate
requests. However, although I am not setting AdServingOptimizationStatus

 (which
is deprecated at the campaign level), the campaigns automatically come back
from the API with AdServingOptimizationStatusSpecified set to true. This
needs to be set to false when reading any campaign in order to
avoid CANNOT_SET_AD_ROTATION_MODE errors.

Hi,

To get the keyword ideas, you could use the TargetingIdeaService

 and
specify the request type

 as
"IDEAS". Please check this guide

for
more details about the service. You need to include the following name
space in your SOAP envelope : "xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema;
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance;. You will also need
to set the Paging

 which
is a required attribute for the TargetingIdeaService. Please find the
complete SOAP logs attached for your reference. The code samples for this
service can be found here

.

Re: Android Studio, Google Adwords API and dependencies

2018-03-05 Thread 'Dhanya Sundararaju (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Richard,

If your issues regarding dependencies have been resolved by installing the
'AdWords jars and examples' download, I would suggest leaving the stated
dependencies as is, in the gradle.build, unless you have a pressing need
to, otherwise. In that case, you could just keep the ones that would help
you in the easy management of credentials, authentication, and session
information. Please let me know if you have further questions.

Re: Error while trying to add a LogicalUserList

2018-03-05 Thread 'Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I'm not much of a Python expert, so please bear with me on formatting and
style, but the following snippet worked for me:

  rule = {
  'operator': 'ALL',
  'ruleOperands': [
  {
  'UserList': {
  'xsi_type': 'BasicUserList',
  'id': *INSERT_USER_LIST_ID_A_HERE*,
  }
  },
  {
  'UserList': {
  'xsi_type': 'BasicUserList',
  'id': *INSERT_USER_LIST_ID_B_HERE*,
  }
  }
  ]
  }

  # Construct operations and add a user list.
  operations = [
  {
  'operator': 'ADD',
  'operand': {
  'xsi_type': 'LogicalUserList',
  'name': 'Logical #%s' % uuid.uuid4(),
  'description': 'Logical test',
  'rules': [rule],
  }
  }
  ]

Could you give that a try and let me know if you still encounter issues?

Thanks,

Re: GetIdeas example - ApiException not instance of Throwable?

2018-03-05 Thread 'Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Richard,

Thanks - that definitely helps! Could you let me know how you're managing
your dependencies? For example, are you using Maven, Gradle, or just
setting your classpath manually (e.g., by copying dependencies to a lib
folder)?

I ask because the error that java.rmi.RemoteException is not in your
classpath indicates that you are missing some key dependencies. If it
helps, you can see the list of dependencies to add for Maven here in the
README .
If you aren't using Maven, you can download the
*adwords-axis-jars-and-examples *archive on the releases page
, which contains
a *lib* folder with all required dependencies.

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team

 This attribute should be a list of LogicalUserListOperand

 So instead of:

Call Metrics Call Details Report

2018-03-05 Thread rohan . k

Hi,

For the Campaign Performance Report

, for the date range Feb 1 - Feb 28, the API returns that there are overall
42 phone calls for the an Adwords Express account.
However for the Call Metrics Call Details Report
,

the API returns an empty row for the same account. The Adwords UI does
return a result. Please see the screenshot attached.

I would be grateful for your assistance.

Thanks,
Rohan

Unrecognized version for the AdWords API

2018-03-05 Thread Агентство B2Basket
Hi everyone.

Today I've got an email in which google have asked me to switch to the new
version of API (v201802). I've changed my code, but then I saw an error
"Unrecognized version for the AdWords API. Given: v201802 Supported:
['v201702', 'v201705', 'v201708', 'v201710']".
I use python official library.
What's wrong with this?

CampaignGroup ID scope of uniqueness

2018-03-05 Thread Marcel Zemp
What is the scope of uniqueness of the CampaignGroup ID? Is the scope also
global, i.e. the CampaignGroup ID is globally unique?

The documentation here

does unfortunately not specify it. This should probably be updated.

2018-03-05 Thread Yang Gao
Hi, I'm using the python lib and from some reason the CampaignService's
get( ) returns all fields in the selector, as expected but also an extra

What is the error "A stream must be be a resource or a string"?

2018-03-05 Thread Hiroshi Akiike
Hi, all.

I have been using the AdWords API for about two years.
I am using AWSQL to get reports on advertising expenses etc. to
ReportDownloader.
For the same account, it may happen when the value can be acquired
correctly and the following error occurs.

 "A stream must either be a resource or a string"

Do you know the cause?
Under the same conditions, there are times when errors occur and normal
times, so accidental?

[The usage environment is as follows]
  AdWords API  v201708
  googleads-php-lib 29.0.0
  PHP 7.0.23

Re: CampaignStatus : PAUSED Error

2018-03-05 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

The common cause for this error MUTATE_ACTION_NOT_PERMITTED_FOR_CLIENT

 is
due to possibly attempting to modify a campaign that was created using the
AdWords Express, the campaign type Video Campaigns or Smart Display
Campaigns. Currently, Video Campaigns are not supported in the AdWords API
services thus this error was generated. You may want to follow our blog
 for any
updates on this.

Thanks and regards,
Luis

Re: Determine video ad format via API?

2018-03-05 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Ryan,

Currently, the report types
 of
AdWords API does not support filtering data based on its video ad format.
You may check this guide

for
the available attributes that you can use to filter for your reports.
However, you may try to filter those ads based on their templateID

 of
the AdGroupAdService

 then
you may use that to filter your report. Take note though that these are the
only template ads
 that
is supported in the API.

Thanks and regards,
Luis
