Upload offline conversion delay

2020-01-22 Thread oded zapgroup4
Hey, I have uploaded retro conversions of November month 2019.
and there was a delay in the Google Ads GUI.
after uploading the conversions via Google Ads API
once a while few conversion were added to the gui.

what is the delay and is it possible to encounter the delay and manage a
planned upload of these conversions?

I have seen the same weird delay when I was uploading DSA feeds.
between 5pm gmt +2 to 8am gmt +2 it approved 350k feeds
and between 8am gmt+2 to 5pm gmt+2 it gained 0 approved feeds.
So I guess there is a pattern google consist to use their resources for
computing all the actions.

Thanks in advance

Re: use AGE_RANGE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT to get Campaign level data

2020-01-22 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi Bryan,

campaign view is provided in google ads UI. we want to show this data to
users on a campaign level. Please refer to the screenshot of UI google has.
Coz if api does not provide data based on campaign view , is there way to
determine campaign level values from Adgroup level values. As i just cannot
sum up the values like Avg.CPC or CTR of individual ad groups to get
campaign level values

Please let me know how to i can determine the values for campaign if the
api does not provide it

Thank You,
Pradeep Datla.

Unfortunately I don't have any updates at this time and cannot speak to the

Re: Traffic Estimation Service Data for Search campaign

2020-01-22 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi Mitchell,

We took your advice and now we are taking maxCPC and daily budget from the
user. But even after sending both maxCPC(in KeywordEstimateRequest) and
dailyBudget(in CampaignEstimateRequest), the clicks count i get from api
dont match with the one shown in keywordplanner forecast UI offered by
google. I have added the same parameter into api like presented in UI. The
only difference i see is the datarange selected which is not offered in API

I logged in with the same user credentials in UI as the accesstoken i am
passing in API. I followed all the steps from :
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/traffic-estimator-service
We are simulating for Proposed Campaign. so i am not passing any campaign
id or adgroup id
I have used the same exact keywords (Broad Match) , Location , Language And
Search Network , maxCPC and i matched the daily budget to the estimate
provided by UI. Still the results i got did not match with UI.

Please provide solution, what could be wrong.

Thank You,
Pradeep Datla.

RE: How add YouTube video to UAC campaign programmatically?

2020-01-22 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Sama,

Thank you for reaching out. In Adwords, if you would like to add YouTube video
to UAC campaign, you need to manually set the campaign's YouTube Video assets
through the Google Ads UI. If you already have YouTube Video assets in the
Google Ads UI, you will be able use the MediaService.get() to retrieve the
MediaId of the youtubeMedia. Then you could use the CampaignService.mutate() to
create a UAC campaign with the setting as UniversalAppCampaignSetting including
the youtubeVideoMediaIds. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi Muhammad,

Unfortunately, you won't be able to use the API to replicate the "Start with a
website" part of the Keyword Planner. When using the TargetingIdeaService, you
will need to specify a RelatedToQuerySearchParameter but you can include a

RE: oauth2 credential

Hi Enrique,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately developer token, client id,
customer id, and client secret are all necessary to call AdWords API. You can
find how to obtain the client id and client secret using these steps. Your
developer token and customer id should be visible in the Google Ads UI. Sign
into your Manager account and your developer token should be visible under
“Tools and Settings” > “Setup” > “API Center”. Your customer Ids should be
visible under “Accounts” when you log into your manager account. If you’re
trying to query for other user’s customer ids not under your manager account,
this is not possible with the API. Please let me know if you have further
questions.

Hi Pradeep,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I see that you want to obtain campaign level
data in AGE_RANGE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT but are receiving it categorized by
AdGroup. Because Age Range Performance report is a multiple attribution type

Adding existing extensions to new campaigns - PHP Adwords API v201809

2020-01-22 Thread Will1234
Hi,

I'm looking for some guidance on how best to achieve the following:

In an account where there are already campaigns created, and these
campaigns use shared extensions (sitelinks, call, callout, structured
snippets).

Via the api I want to create a new campaign and associate the pre-existing
extensions.

I do not have the feed item id of the extensions, and do not know which
campaign has which extensions (so can't easily get a campaign ID to use).

I'd like to:
- Search for an existing extension based on specific values e.g. the phone
number for a call extension. Get the feed item id and then associate with
the new campaign.

I think I can see a way to do it by pulling down all the feeds using the
feed service and getting all the feed items then searching through those
(using parts of this code
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/samples/php/migration#migrate-to-extension-settings),

but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any service that makes the
searching a little easier?
Or is there a better way to achieve adding existing extensions to new
campaigns?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Will

RE: Create DEVICE criterion on Campaign

2020-01-22 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Pietro,

Thank you for reaching out. The device criteria for each device implicitly
exists in each campaign, so you won't be able to ADD or REMOVE those criteria.
However, you can use bid modifiers to opt out of a specific device or set the
bid modifier for a specific device by updating the bid_modifier of the
CampaignCriterion.

Additionally, make sure you are performing this call on a Display campaign
since this is the only campaign type that supports CONNECTED_TV (other than
Video campaigns which can't be modified using the API).

If you are still having issues, please share the uncensored logs via Reply
privately to author so that I can further investigate the issue.

URL placement for search partners through AdNetworkType2 segment

2020-01-22 Thread Albin Kristiansson
Hi,

I am trying to access URL placements for google search partners through the
API. I have tried three different reports;

PLACEMENT_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
AUTOMATIC_PLACEMENTS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
URL_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

Note that I have specified the predicates to AdNetworkType2 =
SEARCH_PARTNERS.

The API call is successful and I get some results, but they are not
corresponding to the UI.
An example is that the UI demonstrates roughly 2000 impressions by google
search partners for an account during a certain period whilst the Google
API reports says
that the account has 50 impressions during the same period.

It is the same problems for all reports.

Does anyone have any experience with getting placements on google search
partners through the API? I have the report format posted down below.

Best regards,

Albin

Re: Stats discrepancies between AdWords API geo performance report and Google Ads geographic reporting (UI)

2020-01-22 Thread Yakir Peretz
Hi Mitchell,

I understand, thank you.
Is there any estimation about when the issue will be fixed? Or information
about which report is the one we can use? (UI or API)
Also, is this a specific problem in the account we mentioned or a general
issue?

If there are accounts in which we can already relly on the api reports - it
would be great.
