Re: DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED

2017-12-28 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED

 error
occurs when you are making an API call on a production account using a
developer token that has Test access. You will need at least Basic Access
 to
make API calls on your production account. If you haven't applied for Basic
access, you can do so by filling out this form
.

There is an issue with the AdGroupAdService returning this ad type.
However, you should be able to get this ad type when using the Ad

Are you getting an error when trying to filter by these ads? If so, what
error are you getting?

Hi Michael,

Unfortunately, there is no API service that will allow you to see how many
ads or keywords are in an ad group. The best thing you can do is run Reports
 and put a
filter on your ad groups. You can use the Ad Performance Report

 and Keywords Performance Report

 to
get information on your ads and keywords respectively.

Re: Copy keywords, ad or entire adGroup info from different account

2016-12-15 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Michael,

Although ad groups are globally unique
,

keywords are not. You can fetch info on existing ad groups and keywords
using either AdGroupService

 or Adgroup Performance Report

 and AdGroupCriterionService

 or Keywords Performance Report

 respectively.
There is no copy method in AdWords API, but you can fetch the respective
fields and use them to create "copies" of them in separate requests.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: Is there a 'Max CPC by Platform'?

2016-12-05 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Jay,

The bid modifier gets applied to different values, depending on what bidding
strategy you
use. For example, if you use Manual CPC
,
the bid modifier will be applied to your max cpc.

You can use the AdGroup Performance Report

 to
get your bid modifiers using the fields AdGroupMobileBidModifier,
AdGroupDesktopBidModifier and AdGroupTabletBidModifier. You can select the
fields CpcBid, CpmBid, and CpvBid to see what bids are being used by what
ad group.

Similarly, you can use the Campaign Performance Report

 to
get the bid modifiers that are set from the campaign level.

Re: Unable to create IpBlock criterion, CONCRETE_TYPE_REQUIRED error

2016-11-30 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Miloš,

You will need to create an IpBlock

 object
then set its ipAddress. Then you can set the criterion of the
NegativeCampaignCriterion

 object
to the IpBlock you created.

Your SOAP request should look like this:
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/;
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema; xmlns:xsi=
"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance;>

https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm/v201609; soapenv:mustUnderstand=
"0">
XX
REDACTED
XX
false
false

https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm/v201609;>

ADD
https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm/v201609; xsi:type=
"ns2:NegativeCampaignCriterion">
X

1.2.3.0/24

Please let me know if you face any issues.

Re: Campaign Performance Report returns paused campaigns as eligible

Hi Mathieu,

Although there is no way to determine whether a campaign is limited by
budget through the API, you can use the ServingStatus

 to
get campaigns with eligible statuses. If you would like to filter out
paused campaigns, you can add a predicate to return only campaigns where
CampaignStatus
= ENABLED

It is still currently not possible to use CampaignService for video

You could also use the Campaign Performance Report to filter on video

Re: Getting stats for specfic campaign

2016-11-18 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Marianne,

If you want to use CampaignService to get only specific campaigns, then you
will need to add Predicates

 in
your selector. If you look at this example
,

you can see how a predicate is added. In that example, you are only getting
ad groups that can be found in that campaign Id.

If you want to get performance stats of your campaigns such as impressions
and clicks, you will need to run a Campaign Performance Report
.

Examples of how to run reports can be found here

.

Here are some Best Practices
 for
using AdWords API.

Hi Eshwar,

You cannot use the AdGroupCriterionService to get all of the fields you are

As a workaround, what you can do is log onto your AdWords account and

Re: How to extract Reach & frequency for all campaigns under an account from the adwords api

2016-11-07 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Nabeelah,

Are you using a report definition with XML

 or
AWQL

to run this report? When using AWQL, you cannot use the date type ALL_TIME.
You can omit the DURING clause to get all time stats. You should expect to
see INVALID_DURING_CLAUSE when using ALL_TIME.

Since you are getting INVALID_FIELD_NAME_FOR_REPORT, there may be another
field you are using that is causing this. Please make sure that you are not
using any of the fields listed under "Not compatible with the following
fields:"

 along
with ImpressionReach.

If you are not using any incompatible fields, please send me your report

Re: v201603 reporting api - Qaulity score change

2016-10-05 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hello Sagar,

If you are using AdWords API v201603, you should get "6" as your Quality
Score for keywords without enough impressions or clicks. Starting with
v201607, you will see a "--" for these keywords.

Re: Getting SelectorError.TOO_MANY_PREDICATE_VALUES while calling v201607.CampaignService's method get

2016-10-05 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Karan,

The TOO_MANY_PREDICATE_VALUES occurs when you are using over 10,000 values
in either your IN or NOT_IN predicate. If this is not the cause of your
issue, please send me your SOAP request and response via *reply privately
to author *so I can investigate*.*

Re: API basic

2016-10-04 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hey,

Welcome to AdWords API! Glad you are starting to use it.

In order to get a developer token, all you need is a manager account to
apply for one. You can find the process on how to get started here
.

You can test the API functionalities by using a test account
.

However, test accounts don't have actual data in it. If you want to test
the API using real stats, you can do so by setting validateOnly

in your header to true.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers,
Anthony

Re: When can will setting up "Drafts and Experiments" be available in the API?

2016-10-04 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Rodrigo,

You can use the Campaign Performance Report in order to get draft and trial
campaign info. If you include the field CampaignTrialType
,

you can determine whether a campaign is a base, draft or trial.

Please see this guide

 for
more information.

In the future, could you please create a new thread instead of responding
to old threads? This will make it easier for us to track :)

Cheers,
Anthony

Re: How to disable automated extensions?

2016-10-03 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hello,

Perhaps AdWords Editor may
be able to do this for you. The forum I sent you earlier may have some idea
with how to do this manually or through AdWords Editor, so I recommend
reaching out there.

If there are any API workarounds, I will let you know.

As far as I know, there is no other information on the user other than the
