Maybe just pull, blow, push? ;-)

I got some ballpark pricing for someone to do that work, but I figured with the
amount we're doing, we'd see what it would cost to bring it in-house.

So far I've looked here: http://www.joink.com/careers and here:

My ideal person is someone that can push\pull\blow fiber in existing conduit

Quincy's a little far from Glen Ellyn. ;-) Point noted, though.

We do have a relationship with a search firm. Just wanted to browse at what
everyone was asking so I can setup our ask to be reasonable.

I can do it, but I also have 1,400 other things to be doing. I do have a green

they're doing and can supplement the training we get.

Re: [AFMUG] OT Its 4:20 in Illinois now

2019-06-26 Thread Ken Hohhof
No matter what I try to grow, all I get is weeds. Not weed, just weeds.

And if some nice flower I buy at the garden center tries to survive, the
rabbits eat it. If you plant MJ and the rabbits eat it, do they get high? And
how would you tell?

it got stole they would get sick. stupid politicians. Theyre afraid it might
create a black market for mary jane if we could grow it.

[AFMUG] Looking for Fiber Job Postings

2019-06-26 Thread Mike Hammett
I'm looking for places you see fiber-related job postings. I'm looking to see
what everyone else is putting in their requests so I know how to best phrase
mine.

So far I've looked here: http://www.joink.com/careers and here:
https://www.jdhcontracting.com/careers-at-jdh/

My ideal person is someone that can push\pull\blow fiber in existing conduit
and can handle splicing it.

I'll no doubt come up with other positions, but that's the itch that needs
scratching.

A surprising number of people accepted.
To my knowledge we didn't get any extra guests on the call though.

Ok, so again I apologize for the meeting invite on list.

I have deleted the item from my calendar.  When I deleted it I
selected
"don't send" status update to the invitees, and apparently it did
it anyway.

I never did figure out what resulted in my whole address book being
invited to the event either.  Apparently I'm getting old or something.

I guess I'm not the only old man here.

this is pure BS. Theres no reason for you to be withholding from us, I
had cleared my calendar for this event. We demand you invite us back,
this is discrimination
