Based on my experience with Ignitenet they will do what they say. But I don’t
think anyone has these yet. Probably closer to Q2 next year you’ll be able to
get some. Keep in mind that these are only good up to 700m with the 35mm CPE.
They’re going to be pricey.

Though, I cannot wait to get my hands on these.

Thank you,

Can I put three of these up channels 2,3,4 and have 360 degree gigabit

Same range as the existing point to point model?

So many applications if this is all the case.

multifactor proxies authentication, create an itinerary of factor changes
at set intervals. make sure you are proxied into your initial rdp client,
from that client teamviewer to a third, and rdp from that to your target
machine. all machines virtual, including your travel laptop functional OS,
schedule image resets at 12 hour intervals. assume everything infected at
the end of the trip.

say I was shipping some illicit goods, but don't trust tor to be as
"secret" as it is, that's what I would do, I don't know what prepaid
cellular is like over there, but here a 30 dollar phone per iteration even
gives you a new presence each time

[AFMUG] Remote Access from China Yes / No / How?

2017-09-30 Thread Paul McCall
I have a need to use RDP to my desktop from China, and googling the subject
seems kinda scary. Seems the Chinese government on ALL Internet connections
is off the chart with intentions to infect wherever and however they can.

Like maybe they would sniff that traffic / passwords etc. and attack the
destination aggressively. I suppose I could have someone on the local (US) end
changing the password daily from a predetermined chart, but that seems like if
they wanted to come right back in behind you before a PW was changed that they
could inject whatever they wanted quickly.

Of course there are VPNs, which they are now getting aggressive on blocking.
But, if you could establish a VPN you are potentially giving them even more
access directly to your LAN. Some of the other advice is don't use your
regular phone (buy a burner with WiFi calling ability) and then when you are
done toss the phone. Don't put anything on it with passwords etc.

I don't know but the whole thing seems a bit daunting. I have a need for about
10 days, so I need some connectivity back to the home front.

Anybody have real world experience on the subject?

Thanks in advance!

Paul

I don't know... I've never heard of having to deal with any kind customs
stuff going to AK or HI, but I also haven't ever sent anything to either
state that wasn't through the USPS.

Lewis is probably right that it's mainly about collecting import duties. It
could also have to do with the fact that there are other countries between
the US mainland and PR, which isn't the case for Hawaii.

It seems like if it's a direct flight from the USA to another part of the
USA you shouldn't have to mess with that stuff, even if it is going over
international waters, but apparently that's not the case.

At one point I heard something like 80% of the cellular system was down in
PR, so yeah, I'd say it's probably pretty safe to assume some towers got
taken down or at least pretty heavily damaged.

2017-09-30 Thread Robert

suspect that he's going to get his stuff, and more, shipped even faster.
 Let's hope!!!

last, I forget. Had to fill out customs docs. Can't remember if it was
UPS or FedEx. We called and the rep was like, yeah, you gotta do that.
That's some stupid ass shit.
