And not only with the wipe effect, but with 3 other effects too. I'm using OOo300m9 Dutch, so I don't know the names of the effects in English. But I will attach an ODP file showing all 4 the effects. The affected effects in Dutch are: - Kort weergeven in (Could be translated as Shortly displayed in) - Wissen (I think this is the Wipe effect spoken of here) - Stuiteren (I would translate this to Bounce) - Schuiven in (Could be translated as Slide in or Move in) Anyway, please see the attached ODP file for the right names of the affected effects. [porting-issues] [Issue 96647] MacOSX PPC: update bridge code
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96647 Issue #|96647 Summary|MacOSX PPC: update bridge code Component|porting Version|DEV300m33 Platform|Macintosh URL| OS/Version|All Status|NEW Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|MacOSX Assigned to|macport Reported by|maho --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 27 08:29:00 + 2008 --- There were many conditional breakages on MacOSX PowerPC. http://blog.livedoor.jp/maho_nakata/archives/51073896.html regcomp dumps core, almost everywhere, and conditional. Stefan Bergmann solved this problem, and this was due to bug in the bridge code. http://porting.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=macmsgNo=7522 I got the idea that it might be the instruction cache flushing in the GCC--UNO bridge that causes all the trouble (both regcomp and saxparser; after all, that would explain why it does not happen always). And indeed, bridges::cpp_uno::shared::VtableFactory::flushCode in trunk/bridges/source/cpp_uno/gcc3_macosx_powerpc/[EMAIL PROTECTED] (copied from trunk/bridges/source/cpp_uno/gcc3_linux_powerpc/[EMAIL PROTECTED], both by khendricks on cc---maybe he remembers something or can add other kinds of insight...) appears to deviate slightly from what is recommended on page 352 of Power ISA Version 2.04 (http://www.power.org/resources/downloads/PowerISA_Public.pdf). I verified that his patch works! - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96631 User auberon changed the following: What|Old value |New value URL|http://extensions.services|http://extensions.services |.openoffice.org/project/re|.openoffice.org/project/re |leasenotes/756|leasenotes/756 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 27 08:41:14 + 2008 --- When I updated the dictionaries, I didn't have the time to explain in (good) English all the work done on the French dictionaries. The spelling dictionary works now with new affix rules (approx. 15,000 rules instead of 700 with the previous version), which generates more than 1,500,000 combinations instead of approx. 650,000. Moreover, with the old affix rules, there were a lot of wrong words generated, due to the limits of the Myspell possibilities. Thousands of new words have been added. Hundreds of mistakes have been corrected. Some have been erased (according to the dictionaries policy). The 3 spelling dictionaries (Classic and reform 1990, Classic, Reform 1990) offer also a far better management of the spelling reform of 1990. Better handling of elisions with uppercased words. This is too long to explain all what I have done. The thesaurus has not much evolved. Few mistakes have been corrected. Few new words only. I still have to think how to improve it, as there is a lot of work to do on it. The hyphenation dictionary is a new one created from TeX, which handles now properly words with apostrophes (elisions) and ligatures. This is not my work. I don't know much about it. Note: as the extensions are usually not created by developers of OOo, this is not the right place to comment on extensions. Are you saying that the relationship information is stored in the backend and not in OOo itself? IOW, relationships from the relationship manager are only supported in InnoDB for mysql? Relationships in queries, etc. are supported just fine and apparently stored in the OOo file, no matter the backend. I guess, it would be advisable that OOo issue a warning from the relationship manager if a relation cannot be saved instead of quietly dropping it. I think this would be a separate issue from this one, though. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The relationship manager (Tools - Relationships) allows adding constraints between tables. Storing the relationship information seems to be left to the backend. MySQL supports foreign keys in InnoDB tables only. Creating a relationship between other MySQL tables seems to succeed at first (the relationship is shown), but it is not stored and thus lost after closing the relationship manager. The relationship manager should test the relation has indeed been added and issue a warning if that test failed. Steps to reproduce * load https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=251407 into a MySQL db * access that db from OOo * Open the relationship manager * add a relationship between the guid field which is present in both tables * close the relationship manager and reopen it result: the tables are still there, the relationship is gone - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [dba-issues] [Issue 93474] [mysql] Relationship tool doesn't show relations of newly inserted table s.
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=93474 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 27 12:11:48 + 2008 --- The problem here is that the database doesn't report an error when we execute the SQL statement to create the relation. The difference between relations in a query or in the database is that you use the first one to create a result set (we can store the select statement), the other is to let the database know what to do when you enter an invalid value for a foreign key or to update this key as well. For the options just do a double click on the connection line. MySQL InnoDB supports relations (foreign keys) other not (as far as I know) Just to make it clear, only forms, report, and queries are stored inside the odb file when you connect to extern database server. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 96652] unfortunate global symbol naming ...
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96652 Issue #|96652 Summary|unfortunate global symbol naming ... Component|Spreadsheet Version|OOo 3.0 Platform|All URL| OS/Version|Linux Status|NEW Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|code Assigned to|mmeeks Reported by|mmeeks --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 27 10:10:55 + 2008 --- It seems calc is exporting a number of symbols, without prepending a helpful Sc prefix to overcome the risk of clashes [ not that in fact they currently clash with anything but anyhow ;-]. The symbols I have renamed to add a Sc prefix are: ColToAlpha, Collection, SortedCollection, StrCollection, TypedStrCollection, AutoFmtPreview, DataObject, SingleRefData, and a minor exception: ComplRefData - ScComplexRefData for consistency. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [l10n-issues] [Issue 96643] Wrong languange and curren cy for Singapore
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96643 User er changed the following: What|Old value |New value Ever confirmed| |1 Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Issue type|DEFECT|ENHANCEMENT Keywords| |needhelp Platform|Unknown |All Target milestone|--- |OOo PleaseHelp --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 27 13:39:36 + 2008 --- Please note that the currency list box is accumulated from available locale data, the wording Chinese (Singapore) originates from the locale data for zh-SG. This in itself is correct, meaning locale data for the language Chinese in the region of Singapore, and cannot be changed. Changing implementation of the currency list box is beyond the scope of this issue. However, we can add another locale Malay (Singapore), which of the many Malay languages would that be? See http://sil.org/iso639-3/codes.asp?order=reference_nameletter=m so we can use the correct ISO 639-3 code. To be able to fully support it as a locale, including number formats and calendar data, and having it selectable as default document language we would need a locale data file. Locale data files can quite easily be generated with the generator available at http://www.it46.se/localegen/ For technical details and semantics of elements please see the generator's documentation and the comments in the locale data DTD file http://svn.services.openoffice.org/ooo/trunk/i18npool/source/localedata/data/locale.dtd and as a sample locale data file for example the en_US locale http://svn.services.openoffice.org/ooo/trunk/i18npool/source/localedata/data/en_US.xml If you want to create and contribute a locale data file for this locale, you can do so using the generator, and then tell here in this issue that it is available. I would then contact Alberto, whom you granted the right to contribute your data, see http://www.it46.se/localegen/copyright.php Thanks Eike - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [installation-issues] [Issue 94287] STARTCENTER_TEMPLREP_URL v ariance, causing basis layer Common.xcu varian ce
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=94287 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 27 10:55:18 + 2008 --- Hm, keeping in the source code the potential for STARTCENTER_TEMPLREP_URL variance in the basis layer (by just harmonizing all the definitions for STARTCENTER_TEMPLREP_URL across instsetoo_native/util/openoffice.lst and instset_native/util/soffice.lst, instead of cleaning up as sketched in the original description) IMO leaves the door open for the next error to happen. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
