Hi, management of topbar colors is a little more complex than changing of image... In fact, you only have one topbar that should be in neutral color : reference color should be #7f7f7f but that's only to make things easier... Hi Gus, The one thing I don't like about emerald is the scrollbars.The background of the bar and the buttons is fine, I guess, (although could maybe be a bit more subtle), but the button arrows and the handle (circle thing in middle of bar) do not fit. As a rule, the arrows should either be just two lines (no 'base' to the triangle) or solid triangles. A hollow triangle doesn't really work... About the handle, I don't think the circle shape fits with the rest of the scrollbar, which is all squares/rectangles. Maybe just some subtle ridges or bumps like in win would be better. didn't read the whole thing about this, so if I'm saying nothing new, do ignore me... So I just checked the skin, and I think it looks quite good. What is a bit annoying though is the large contrast between the strongly visible tops of the groups, and the very thin dotted line around it. Hi, about the smiley thing, I did read the list but it was more to show that I agreed with others : the So was here to show that... Too bad you misunderstood it / I can't express well ;) About tiling, it's not done yet because because Karel thought about a setting to let users change their background... (Maybe he wanted to have his girl friend in background :d). Anyway, I think that the background should be skin related too... So I think I will implement it soon (tonight, tomorrow evening or this week end). And don't worry this will be a skin setting ;) About spacing, I don't really know where is the trouble... Hi, I haven't much time... First, as some already said, I think that coloring nicknames according to the status should be back as it is clearer to see the state of a contact (no need to read)... Second, I think sounds should be changed because I think they come from M$N (correct me if I am wrong..) Third, I think smileys are strange too... So ;) Four, it seems there is a little bug with the first contact of each group where DP and smiley are over the group head background... Heya GuS, I really like the skin!! At first I didn't use emerald because it wasn't for me, but it looks really nice! I only have one issue. That with the contact card, you can't see the user's display picture... But apart from that, you've done an awesome job! 3 - don't worry, you'll often get multiple times the same critic, you must accept it, it doesn't mean damn it, we told you to do this and you didn't! it only means yes, I agree that this should be done, so you know it's not only me who don't like the smileys or whatever... nothing forces you to reply to the same critic twice, just let them be sent so you know how many people think the same thing, but answer just once. 4 - not sure about tiles, maybe as an option (if it's easy to do it with tk, otherwise no reason to do it...) but it would depend on the skin because the msn logo or the emerald logo would not be good tiles, but a wave/mosaic pattern would look good and in smaller size than a big image to compensate... Hola. 1- Of course, i am planning a nice one for Emerald2.0 too.. i feel that Emerald does not fit even for the skin. 2- yeah... i just didnt managed to put another one till wait to implement same as NewCL there. 3- I dont have that border you say :S. Maybe could you show me with a pic? 4- Yeah KKRT, because those smile are not mine, but from OpenWengo Project (that are GNU/GPL).
