[android-developers] Selling ringtones / How to make the .wav files to work only on devices that paid for it?

Hello,

I am completely new on this.
I just created a few ringtones that are more business environment friendly.
Yes, I know that there is a load crap of ringtones but the ones that 
originally come with our phones are the worst.


So I created a couple of them and would like to put them on sale.
All are in .wav file.
The point is that I don't want the user tp pay for a .wav file and then 
email it to all their friends.

Here comes the question;

Is there any way that I can make these .wav  files to work only on the 
devices linked to the app buyers?

[android-developers] Custom VideoView Class

The VideoView class is an implementation of MediaPlayer and a 
SubtitleController that simplifies video play back.  I have a requirement 
to implement Closed Captioning (dynamically) from the Subtitle stream. 
 However when I look at the source for the ViewView object they import 
classes such as "import android.media.SubtitleController;".  when I attempt 
import  that class and other the class cannot be resolved.  I opened up the 
Android.jar that is part of the 22 Framework and the classes referenced are 
not present under android.media.  Where should I find these classes?  Am I 
going about this in the wrong manor?

Additionally I would like to reduce the buffering in the MediaPlayer to a 
minimal amount, all users of my application are directly attached to the 
LAN, hardwired at 1Gbps.  With a known amount of jitter in the packet 
stream I am confident that I can reduce the amount of buffering with 
minimal to no distortion.  Where can I adjust this threshold?

Description:

·   3-5 years’ experience in hands on SAP BPC configuration including
2-3 full life cycle projects;

·   Must have SAP BPC 10.0 or 10.1 Net Weaver experience;

·   BW 7.4 experience including data extraction and modeling;

·   Strong knowledge of BPC planning and forecasting function and
process;

·   Build BPC planning application to meeting business needs in revenue
forecast; good knowledge in Logic script, Data Manager, BADI, EPM

·   Perform BPC planning administration functions

·   Monitor and optimize the performance of the BPC planning application

·   Facilitate requirement gather for financial reporting and
enhancement and document functional specs to BW technical team;

·   Experience in participating and supporting integration testing
cycle and ability to drive defect resolution for any problem identified;

·   Delivery and support of BPC end user training;

·   Functional knowledge of CRM, Order Management, Revenue Recognition
and COPA in SAP ECC6 is desired;

·   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

[android-developers] My acc terminated. Can I develop other apps on friend account together?

Hi everyone, this is my first post.

My google play account has been terminated due to impersonation (several 
times). It's not 100% truth because my application was another. It was an 
unlucky accident when I had been trying to create good icon for app. I got 
ban because of that icon. Nevermind.

Can I create another application together with my friend and can he publish 
this app? Another application, another main developer, but app would have 
ads (admob) and these ads would go to our (me and friend) admob accounts. 
Is that possible?

[android-developers] Проблема с RSA-ключом

Доброго времени суток

У меня возникла проблема. Изначально разработку вёл на Unity Personal,
после опубликования в альфа тест в Play market приобрел Unity Pro. Перенес
проект из Unity Personal в Unity Pro. Обновил альфу в маркете. После этого
перестала работать возможность совершать покупки, приложение
перезагружается. Предполагаю, что дело в RSA-ключе, выдаваемом Google.
Вопрос: Влияет ли версия Unity на этот ключ? И если да, то как перенести
RSA-ключ из Unity Personal в Unity Pro для Play market и цифровую подпись
приложения?
Т.к. пересоздание цифровой подписи проекта приводит к невозможности
перезаливать новые версии в альфа тест.

replied: If I can find more developers who have complaints against Samsung

first sign in and then download the genymotion with virtual box its about
140-150 mb exe file.

couple of weeks ago i experienced a same problem the solution is to install
the Intel HAXM .
if you cannot install the Intel HAXM you should go into system bios and
enable Hardware Accelerated Virtualization

Regarding the Live stream startup - 

The *native player of iOS* will always start the stream with the lowest 
bitrate available irrespective of end user bandwidth and then switch to 
higher bitrates based on end user network. In contrast, the *Android native 
player* will always start with the highest bitrate available and then 
decide to either downshift to lower bitrate (if the network is bad) or stay 
at that bitrate itself.

So can we also do with android native player to start with lowest bitrate 
and then switch to higher bitrates based on end user network ?

[android-developers] Apk published in alpha channel not found in playstore

Hi,

I have published the sample app for in app purchase in the alpha channel 
mode. 
I linked few test accounts in the developer account in closed alpha group. 
Logged in with those test accounts in playstore after 2 to 3 hrs, I tried 
to access the url link where we can get the published app but I get the app 
not found in playstore.

May I know why the app published in alpha channel is not reflecting in the 
playstore link.
