With Android Studio 2.2 Preview 6 I got working apk which can be directly 
uploaded to Play store.
And maybe non-related, but hint - check : Module settings -> app -> Build 
Types -> release -> "Zip Align Enabled" should have value "true"

[android-developers] Fraud Google Play Order ID received

I have implemented In App Billing For my android app.

After a feature is purchased in my app, I have been collecting the Purchase 
bundle of that purchase Order to my local server.

I don know what's wrong happened, I got observed few purchase Orders in my 
local server, which are not reflecting in merchant page.

When I check the purchase orders at my server, I found something strange 
like,

The Order ID for that purchase is found as 

Order ID  <19 Digit number>.<16 Digit Number>
  say <1234567891234567891>.<1234567891234567>



According to Google, 

The order number itself is a string consisting of numbers only, with a 
format assigned and managed by Google.

For transactions dated 5 December 2012 or later, Google payments assigns a 
Merchant Order Number (rather than a Google Order Number) and reports the 
Merchant Order Number as the value of orderId. Here's an example:

"orderId" : "GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567"

For transactions dated previous to 5 December 2012, Google checkout 
assigned a Google Order Number and reported that number as the value of 
orderId. Here's an example of an orderId holding a Google Order Number:

"orderId" : "556515565155651"


The Orders which are shown at merchant page are in the following format,

"orderId" : "GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567"


Question:

1. Is the OrderId other than the format  is 
considered as fraud?

2. How to validate an actual purchase in case of fraud orders[i.e Order ID  
<19 Digit number>.<16 Digit Number>]?

[android-developers] Downsampling Bitmaps in-place (to avoid memory overlflow)

Hi
I want to down-sample a 8mp image to 5mp bitmap. The image is either 
captured from camera or loaded from sdcard. When I try to 
use createScaledBitmap()  on galaxy s3 or older devices, the memory 
overflows. I considered downsampling while decoding the bitmap using 
BitmapFactory.Options "inSampleSize", but found that inSamplesize is an 
integer value and inSamplesize <= 8mp/5mp is 1, which means there is not 
enough room for downsampling while decoding. What are the other ways in 
which I can downsample image to 5mp and avoid memory overflow? Is there a 
method for inplace downsampling OR is it possible to write a custom decoder 
to this task?

[android-developers] Subscription renewed but still get old purchaseToken

Hi,
I subscribed my test product on 2016/07/25 which have been renewed so many 
times till now.
But it always returns the same purchaseToken so I can't get the correct 
expiryTimeMillis.

// Get purchase token which doesn't change after renewing
mService.getPurchases(3, getPackageName(), SUBSCRIPTION, null);

// Get subscriptionPurchase
AndroidPublisher.Purchases.Subscriptions.Get result =

subscriptionPurchase.getStartTimeMillis(); // 2016/07/25

Is it possible to get the new purchaseToken?
Or I have to count the expired date by myself?

to lower size. The whatsapp messenger is now updated from 21MB to just 7MB. 
and lots of main applicatons are now reducing their sizes. What is the

[android-developers] Pass code for disabling Device Admin

We are buliding a app similar to app locker we need to ask password 
whenever some one tries to disable the device admin. 

We are able to do that with versions prior to Lollipop.  Since lollipop 
stopped giving the activity name for the currently running app we are in a 
mix of how to do that.
