[Asterisk-Users] E100P pinouts anyone?

2003-12-29 Thread bam
I'm trying to hookup an E100P to an E1 PRI that I know is working, it
drives an Ascend Max happily. The E100P has a red LED flashing away slowly
and the telco switch reports that there is no level one signalling link.

So that I can rule out the obvious things does anyone have the pinouts for
the RJ45 on the E100P? I've tried straight through and crossover to no avail.

I get a couple of errors on modprobing the driver, but if I reverse the
order it seems to load OK. ztcfg is happy and zttool seems to see the card
so I'm pretty certain it is something silly.

any help gratefully received.

Just cross pairs 1-2 and 4-5

Never done an E1, but I think it's the same for a T1 4 wire cable.

RE: [Asterisk-Users] E100P pinouts anyone?

2003-12-29 Thread Scott Stingel
If you just get a few error 500's at startup - these can be ignored. I
get these all the time, and the few a the beginning do not seem to cause a
problem.

However, if you get lots of them when you are receiving traffic (incoming
calls), I think it has something to do with the PRI frame buffer overflow
problem that Digium is aware of. I get dozens of these along with hundreds
of frame retries when I have lots of traffic.

If the latter, please email [EMAIL PROTECTED] as well, to make sure they
have it on their list.

Scott

Thanks for that, I had used 12 and 56. Doh!

The datalink now comes up, but I get repeated messages about an unknown
error. There is only one reference in the archives and it was never
answered, so I'm stuck again.

WARNING[180236]: File chan_zap.c. Line 5733 (zt_pri_error): PRI read on 48
