Re: office 2013 vs 2010? What annoys me the most in office 2010, is that it doesnt detect another language apart from English. For example, when Im typing a document in Italian, jaws wont start speaking with Italian eloquence, and I am forced to create a profile for each language I have to do with.I posted a topic here about this but I got no answer. Could somebody give me an answer to this? But office 2010 for me, is fast.I dont know about the 2013 one. Yet I like more office 2007 although its old. As of this writing, I have now jumpped in to its world via the use of Chromevox via my Chromebook, using Triads HTML5 newer interface. The only thing Im a little bummed about, is I accidently passed over the Refer a Friend page, thus I wont get points from one of the only friends I have who will enjoy the world, but Ill make up for that loss in do time. I am not sure how well it works with NVDA, since I myself use Chromevox on my Chromebook which I stated earlier, though my friend who currently is the char named Kora , seems to not have much problems with using and Firefox on Triad toge ther. Throughout this thread, each level 5 heading, will have a chapter number and title, to differentiate Triad adventure posts, from normal ones. The top post, (which you are reading now,) will also have a Table Of Contents, taking you to the different chapters directly. For now, the writing stops. Re: DeathMatch, a new beginning
Re: DeathMatch, a new beginning Hi all, ive fixt afew critical bugs. One, asteroids will now be destroyed if during a planet crack, their cargo space is some how set to 0. This prevents over bloting of the db. Second, apparently I had probes going to the rong ship, which on very small times would cause the server to crash, thanks gameman for helping me to locate that bug, so probe away. Finily, ive been debating how best to setup constructor ships for building colonies, and I think ive figured it out. When orbitting a planet, one first uses the construct colony option, this sends down nanobots to construct a turbolift or turbocar leading into the actual colony constructed above the planets surface, which then can be built onto, ive also been debating adding mining consoles and such to planet side colonies, which would be able to mine the mineral pockets and save on deep space cracking or for thoughs who dont feel cumffy operating a g51 planet cracker, tell me what you think of these ideas. Re: audio files
Re: audio files Awesome work Sam, the attention to detail is admirable, and even in the smaller skits, the story is easy to follow, well put together, and the audio is over all simple, yet very effective, which can be hard to pull off in a neat little package like that.I listened to 3 or 4 of your skits, and Ill probably look at some more as well, I gave you a thumbs up, and would be interested in seeing others if your willing to share them, if and when you have time to make more. The only thing I can recommend is to be a bit less repetative in terms of the exact sounds you use for multiple events, for some of the skits, such as the rattling in the camper skit. How ever I had to think a bit to come up with something that you could improve, and the over all quality of the work is hard to fault, so dont take that as a make or break comment.Cae, most if not all of the links on that page give a 404.Burac, sure, Ill take a listen as long as they arent too realistic :$, Ive never been a fan of intents premeditative violence or over the top horror movie style ultraviolence, unless its really worth it to me my self, but thats just me. Re: The end of japanese gaming for english speakers Kaigoku, it would definitely be an interesting project... and an alternate would be good for those who dont speak Japanese, since as Ticky did say correctly... not many people, at least on this forum, probably know enough of both languages to translate all the games. And Ticky, many of these sighted gamers dont understand the entire games either, just enough of them to infer and pull details from what little they do understand. I didnt say that was the only option, that simply is the best one right now, until an alternate can be worked out. And the translation wil come from anyone who does know the language, EG Kaigoku, myself, and anyone who is at least willing to learn it. It seems to work again, you just need to download the dev addon.http://addons.nvda-project.org/files/in … nvda-addonThe commands seem to be a little different though, its laidered. Or, people could start learning the language!! lol No, but seriously, if a solution isnt found by the summer of this year, I would be happy to develop a little something. I rather busy at the moment, and dont really feel like occupying myself with other activities. Ive never used the add-on in question, but I imagine alternative translation services are available with working APIs. Re: Survive the Wild! Its kind of lame that this is an rp game and yet people just go around attacking people for no reason. If it were a real situation and you and a group of people were stranded on an island, then you wouldnt just go around stabbing people. You can argue, oh they want to kill you for your supplies or something, but if that were true, then everybody would beat the crap out of that person for being so selfish. I logged in a few days ago, and I was trying to learn to play the game and all I hear are people trying to stab me. Its kind of upsetting honestly. Re: The end of japanese gaming for english speakers
Re: The end of japanese gaming for english speakers Hi,yeah, well. Reading walkthroughs and talking to people to find out the story? Honestly, how many blind gamers speak japanese good enough to really understand the games completely? And if we even have any walkthroughs for these games, they are without the story part, just the instructions how to complete the game. Thats nothing like the sighted gamers community, which is simply large enough to have some to get things translated. Helping with translations is a nice idea, but I myself simply dont speak the language and most others dont, either. So where should the translation come from? This really sucks. Re: The end of japanese gaming for english speakers Hello,Unless someone can create an addon using something like the bing translate API. The thing is, I dont think Instant Translate was just used by gamers, and soon enough lots of people are going to notice, its definitely one of NVDAs more popular addons. Now, I dont think the API has been fully shut down. There are some twitter clients that are managing to get google translate working again, with some osrt of code update. It might just e an update that has to be done. Re: Audio Game Console Sonus Interactive Hi All,Even more great ideas coming from you guys, I see.To answer a few questions:Yes Guitarman, this will not be a virtual console but a physical hand held device (and I am loving the touch screen idea, that one should challenge me and keep me from getting bored). Also yes, I am a sighted individual. As for game development, I want as many developers to come out of the woodwork as I can get. And not everyone can program but the idea is to build an easy to use bit of software for games to be developed in with no programming experience needed (except for the logical way of thinking that comes with programming)And also, Sonus is indeed Sound in Latin.Unfortunately Sonus.co.uk was taken so I had to add Interactive onto the end. Upon the installation of rh voice for sapi5, I went to the control panel only to find my sapi 5 voices have disappeared. I then restarted my computer, same thing happened. Then I went to d-speech to find the same happened there. finally I went to use the fix registry and it said it couldnt find phone converters\tokens\English. Is their any way to get sapi5 back in working order or am I screwed at this point. there are several sapi5 installers but they all are for windows xp.Appearently the 64 bit version of sapi is not affected, just the 32 bit version. tool URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=211933#p211933 ___ Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector

Re: Swamp, zombie FPS by Aprone
Re: Swamp, zombie FPS by Aprone I think it would be neat to have title weapons in ctf missions, it would make things interesting. Also, does anyone have any tips for ctf as far as killing players? Weapons do not seem to do much damage, is it critical to center the other player or what, any advice is welcome. Core-Exiles
Core-Exiles Howdy all,Its been awhile since I made a post here on Core-Exiles, and figured Id post a refresher. Its My game of choice, and for many good reasons. So many blind accessible games are short lived, and wont entertain you for years on end. Thats where core-exiles differs, Ive been playing for 6 years now, and its always amusing, fun, and challenging.some of the things you can do:normal combat, cargo hauling both wesbec ashar, mining asteroids, alien combat, A.I Combat, Mech Combat, derelict exploration combat, planet exploration combat, Collective RAID Combat, crafting of equipment, ships, starbases, building your own settlement, genesis settlement building, expanse surveying, combat missions, nebula harvesting, resource extraction, and more I know Im forgetting. not to mention 6 galaxies, hundreds of plannets and systems and player settlements. The game is always being updated, and lo ads of new things are being added monthly. *shameless plug* the guild Im in Intelliquest is also giving away CE store only items of $25.00 and more, engines, hanger licences, golden eagle upgrades, fuel tickets, more.Theres so much to enjoy with CE theres no reason not to come over and give it a try. Whether you use to play, or if you just wanna pop in and become a Core-Exiles addict(real ranking). Come join the game and shoot me a mail, Im Holiday in game and will send you a little present for coming over and giving the game a try.
