Yeah the footstep sounds don't work, and that did anoy me at first, but you can use the camera to hear the type of terrain that's around you. Very useful when trying to find patches of grass and such. Also, as mentioned in the first post, some of the maps aren't named properly, but you can use the poke gear's map to see where you are, and use commands in the scrypt to rename rooms and objects if you want.

No, just use lunar ips to patch a clean coppy of the rom and you're good to go, unless you want to set up the advanced AI. Not sure how that works because I didn't mess around with it, but you don't need it to enjoy the game.

Greetings blindncool.Thanks for that. I guess that's my next research project then. Why is it that most if not all instruments were covered even to a very small degree at School but they never covered the keytar? You'd think that because it was so popular, it'd be in the School music curriculum. They even cover tablas, sitars the six stringed guitar like instrument, ban saris and the like but of course, never to any large degree; not even what they were like; just that they are eastern instruments. A piano guitar?

Greetings all.I don't know whether anyone has ever heard of this but 2 days ago, I taught piano to a friend, Melysa for the first time. Yes I know, funny spelling. Anyway, Melysa was telling me about a piano/guitar that people play in France? I've never heard of a piano/guitar or a guitar/piano. Apparently it has piano keys with a neck like a guitar sticking out of it and you can carry it around with you if you wish via a shoulder strap. Apparently, the music produced on such instruments is very good. If anyone can shed light on this, I'd be exceedingly happy and if it doesn't require electricity then I could buy it and play on it as I sit outside somewhere. It doesn't have to be a photo of you, can be anything at all, so long as it isn't the default unhatched egg image.That's worth saying again... there isn't a single person on twitter who doesn't have a profile pic. By default you are given a picture of an unhatched egg. It's just a case of whether you replace that egg with your own image.

Lost Speech in entombed

Hi. I'm running entombed using Windows 8, with sapi as my speech engine. I seem to lose speech in the most inconvenient times, like in battle, and my only choice seems to be fiddling around till I find the exit option. This gets on my nerves, because I never know when it'll happen, and I'm forced to go back to the last saved file, which can be annoying if I've made major changes to my party's characters. I don't have any of the other speech engines entombed supports, what do I do?

Hi. The closest I've found is a MOO called sindome, it's futuristic with some elements of space. I don't know much about them, I only heard it mentioned in the game's TV broadcasts. By the way, I think they're actually done by players. The only downside is that the game is set in a gritty future, meaning people can do anything to you when you're logged off, even stealing your clothes and money. If you know of another MUD with features such as telivision and interesting RP, let me know, I'm looking for a replacement. Paying for showers? Disgusting!

Google Maps is definitely not the source for the Nearby Explorer maps. You're confusing Nearby Explorer with the free, trimmed down online version of Nearby Explorer, which uses the Google Maps api. Navteq is the source of the onboard maps. Again, hidden cost is 100% out of the question. As long as the app is going through Google Play, it can never force unsolicited charges on you without warning. If anything, you'd get a dialogue asking you to pay to continue, if there even were paid map updates, but you can always say no to those. Sendero Gps charged for map updates on the braillenote and pc, but you could always stay with your current onboard maps. Nearby Explorer, however, doesn't have paid map updates.

Update on the deck: there's actually a card search function at least in trunk . Instead of going through thousands of cards using OCR, you can press s, then the right arrow then it'll give you a message about searching. Tab to the edit field, type in your search, and press enter.

Pinball in particular from ESP, and in fact ESP in general, were really a stand-out contribution to the audio-gaming scene.Without getting into yet another Mac vs Windows debate again, all I'll say is that it's definitely not a black-and-white issue for me. Using WINE certainly changes the equation somewhat, although it is of course by nature imperfect it might still be enough to swing things. I'll see how it looks when they announce the next macOS release. In general though I think each platform has its strengths and weaknesses, and gaming (or, more specifically, quick, off-the-cuff, casual gaming) is where Windows just wins, by nature. I think more games should be cross-platform, but that's the reality today, both in the audio-gaming scene and elsewhere.

yes, what you need for VMware player is an unlocker which allows it to run the OSX. The only place I know to get it is insanely mac forums, and I forgot my registration crap so I can't get it again, and I'm not making another account because the process was annoying as hell.

I'm kinda lost here because its a very complex game that's fast paced and while I think we do need audio implementation, of some sort, it can get overwhelming if not done right. You keep saying surround sound in your posts, but I think you mean 3D audio, I don't know many people with an actual 5.1 or better surround sound system in their house, most would be playing over The speakers, a stereo system, or headphones.One other thing is that if this is done, you'll get a lot of people interested because its new, and they don't know anything about football. I do, but not the in depth stuff TTS to read the plays as you move around then, an indicator for if you flip the play, etc. is definitely needed. What's also needed is a description of each play, to be studied outside the game since we cannot use the diagram on screen. Also since each screen I think comes up with 3 or 6 plays, and you press the square, X circle and triangle buttons to select the
 m, well we need some indication of that as well. My knowledge is a bit out of date, the last Madden game I played was Madden 14.Also, what would be done about a receiver who was open, but is now covered by a defender. I think the tone for his button shouldn't just go away, but should be occluded and fade out as he becomes less able to catch a pass. Also some more mundane things. A way to see how much time is on the clock, to see if the clock is still running or stopped, maybe an audible indicator that ticks that last 10 seconds of the play clock. Here's this too, how would you know where you can take the ball if running it. Yeah you can hear the other players around you, but I don't know if its good enough to tell if there's a hole you can sneak through. Also sort of a blip when you're being pursued if you're running the ball and you get out ahead of the defense, you're being chased down, you need to keep running, etc. The more rapidly the b
 lips come, that lets you know you're in trouble, if they start to slacken off, it means you're gaining ground on them. Also perhaps some kind of indication when you pass the chains and score a first down. Not that that means you should stop, but just lets you know whats going on around you.I am partially sighted, getting worse but I used to play pretty well in Madden 08, that's the one I'm more familiar with so I'm sure things have changed a lot since then. There's just so many visual elements on the screen that I don't begin to know how to represent them all, or what of it can be ignored. For instance, when you're in the huddle and on offensive, about to snap the ball, you don't need to know where all the defenders on the screen are at that point, after play begins though, you're gonna need to know who your nearest threat is if that makes sense. I don't think you can represent all of them on screen at once with little bl
 ips and stuff, thankfully, audio is getting a lot better, so we'll probably be able to tell because of their footsteps, but again, we need to know where we can get through.On defense, we're gonna probably need to know where the ball carrier is at all times as well as where we'er meant to go once play begins. If we're running after the ball carrier, again we need an indicator but this time we want to hear those faster beeps, that lets us know we're in range to go for a tackle. As the QB when throwing a pass, I think we need some sort of indicator of our distance from the line of scrimmage, that way we know we can drop back some if pressured by the D. This won't exactly tell us how far we are away from our intended receiver, but since that can change, I think knowing how far we are from the line is a good compromise.Also, if running the ball, the announcer will usually call out yardage, so that doesn't really need anything done, but wha
 t does is knowing where we are on the field laterally so we don't go out of bounds, I think a sound that say is silent in the middle, and only starts to get loud as you approach the out of bounds line on either side might do the job. I think a yardage given at the end of play would be nice, like on X's 30 yard line or whatever so that you have the information you need to make smart decisions.Also a way to be able to kick the ball accessibly if going for a field goal, or if the other side is receiving during kickoff, or the extra point. I don't know how the newer mechanics work, I remember the way it worked in Madden 08 though, but that's probably not much help now. But yeah an indicator how strong the wind is, and something for left/right and up/down. An indication where the goal posts are in relation to the kicker as well where appropriate.

I got a 78% without studying. I thought that I would do better, so I'm a little disappointed, but I think the main things that tripped me up were to do with the questions involving application specific profiles. I have to admit that, being a fairly new NVDA user of a little less than 2 years, I didn't even know that configuration profiles existed. Oops. I do own a Braille display, but I still didn't know about the tethering stuff. At least I know what areas to brush up on. It would be awesome if the system would tell you which questions you got wrong, but that feature has been noted by NV Access, and is being worked on according to what I read on the NVDA email list. In any case, I do plan to retake this when I can.I think the reason the questions about general Windows usage are included is because this certification is meant to help you build a solid foundation in which to provide AT training to others. If you're doing that, a strong working knowledge o
 f using a computer is a must.

Hmmm. I am not to sure about Nearby exployer uses google maps for the on board map. Yes, you can choose google for the address if you wish, and you can choose google for the points of interests, but I am not to sure if google was the sorse of the on board maps. Where can I get such info? if google was the source for the on board map, then the onboard map is just a touch out of date. Anyway, to me, the main pluses for nearby explorer for me are the choice of the onboard maps, google, foursquare and apple maps for the Points of interests along with the on board maps, google, and apple maps for the address provider. I am not totally sure about seeing eye, but its' eas of use seems to be the big seller. So make your own choice there. Yes I should had got the one month test, but I was and am focus on having my maps stored on my phone so that I can use very little data seeing that I can not aford alot of data. Yes, using an app that gets the parts of the map off the net as needed m
 ay not use alot of data, but when you only have 3 gigs you quickly find that that a little saving here and there goes a long way.

It doesn't have to be a photo of you, can be anything at all, so long as it isn't the default unhatched egg image.That's worth saying again... there isn't a single person on twitter who doesn't have a profile pic. @Hektor - yes, 1 indicator appears above each player when they are first open to catch the ball. Up to 5 players can be catchers. I was thinking about using surround sound to identify where each catcher is on the field. I have a hard time telling how far apart notes have to be to be distinguished, as I'm severely hearing impaired and can't hear all notes - input on this would be very welcome.

About decks: When you first go into the deck editor it'll ask which deck you want to edit in a non-wrapping menu from 1 to like... 31? I'm not sure. After selecting it you'll be in the deck. I believe for any deck after two it'll ask you to name it. To go to your trunk press the number 2, to go back to your deck from your trunk press the tab key once. The deck will have 3 tabs I guess you'd call them. Main deck, extra deck for like fusions and stuff, and a side deck which you can use for multiple duels when you wanna switch a few cards out/ into your deck to change stratigy. You start off in the main deck and can just go left and right. To go to the other two decks you have to press down until you hear the confirm sound. When you hear it once you're in your extra deck. When you press down again you'll be in your side deck. When in main deck if you press a on a card you can press down to send it to your side deck, or left to send it to your trunk.
  When in your trunk you press right to add it to your main deck. The trunk has 6 rows and a whole bunch of columns depending on how many actual cards you have. You can just go right and it automatically moves you down after you've gone past the sixth card. That's all I got for now.

About decks: When you first go into the deck editor it'll ask which deck you want to edit in a non-wrapping menu from 1 to like... 31? I'm not sure. After selecting it you'll be in the deck to go to your trunk press the number 2, to go back to your deck from your trunk press the tab key.

I have a rant to make about Moo in general, but it also concerns this game.If a player, or any object in Moo terms, happens to be in an area when changes are made and the area is re-compiled or copied, the old, generic copy of that area is saved. I guess CR uses these generic areas to say, build any Beacon Station and add names etc to it later.They made changes to Omicron station to re-add Hannah, which I was there for. I happened to be sleeping on the station.When I logged back in, I was in a generric Ommicron, with my ship nowhere to be found... because it's on the correct, changed Ommicron.So, is there a way to fix this? Despite Kayla being on--she was the only admin, no others were on during my assist. Kayla was not idol, so I suppose she was coding and didn't see that there was an assist, but situations like this irk me.I'll log on once again and see if maybe someone else is on.

If you can't see a card with cloud OCR, you can always go into it's details and it'll read it more clearly. It'll take some getting used to, but you'll get it. When you press A on a card and you can't go up or down at all that means it can't be summoned/set for some reason. If you can go down once that means it can be set, and if you can go down twice that means you can either put it in attack or defense if it's a monster, or play or set it if it's a magic or trap. The last down is always details. Some monsters you can go down 3 times which means they have an ability you can activate straight from your hand. Fusion monsters are easy to summon. It only lets you use polymerization if you have the monsters available, and when you use it it'll tell you the monster you're fusing for and the monsters it takes to fuse. There's a whole bunch of other stuff, but it'll take forever to write. If you have any questions that I ca

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to write a calculator in BGT? If you are looking for a better usable and more advanced actual working software to use instead of the default Windows crap, just try googling for Speq Mathematics. If you just want to use this idea as a way to learn to improve your coding skills in string parsing, etc, then yeah, I should be able to come up with something relatively easily. The problem with BGT, though, is that you would kind of have to reinvent the wheel and reimplement all the supported math operations from scratch in your script, rather than just being able to pass the user input string directly as an _expression_ to calculate.Lukas

Typically, the majority of software performance problems have to do with how the software is coded rather than the language used.  If you run performance tests on various languages, you will see that their performance will differ. But good performance tests tend to try to push performance to the limit. Most software you are likely to write is not likely to push those limits.You can write a game in any of those languages. Each language comes with its own pro's and cons. I personally think that the decision of which language you use depends on which language would you enjoy spending a lot of time with and how much support are you going to need in building your game? Building any type of software in any language tends to involve more time than you would expect. So you definitely want to pick a language that you will find useful and enjoyable.There is also the question of "support".  BGT has a good tutorial. It also appears to be a language s
 pecifically created for the purpose of making audio games. That means any information you find on it will be related to creating games.  Python has a large community. There is a lot of help available--however, audio gaming is just one amongst many things Python is used for. C++ has the advantage that it is the language most commercial games use--but audio gaming is also just a small aspect of the language.My own preference is to use Python. However, I tend to want to write many different types of software and I want my software to work on both Windows and Linux. However, if you do decide to use Python, I would suggest updating to Python 3. You can still use Python 2.7 if you wish to do so, but unless you are limited to using Python 2.7 for some reason--it would be better to start any new development using Python 3.

I don't think you can change the field color.  If anyone is interested, this is also on ps4. Though of course you can't ocr that. But it's $20, and $5 for each addon, the same as Steam. I grabbed the demo, just to see if it was the same as on Steam.

I still don't know how to finish off m account, so in the end I just went to the website and logged in with my microsoft account, which worked. It showed I had two views and 8 xp. via the site.I did, however, encounter a strange bug. When I wanted to stop the broadcast, nothing seemed to happen. IT just said stop broadcast, without changing the window, until I restarted my console. I hope this is a temporary glitch.

447, it's been what, 2 weeks? It makes me chuckle when I see a question like this. the Devs want to release the game probably more then anyone here, and the time spent writing the posts saying "we are still working on it" could be spent on coding, checking for errors in the story, etc. we all are waiting on the game, trust me on it. I found that the best thing to do is to distract myself. Like reading? Check out Hounded by  Kevin Hearn. The iron Druid. That should keep you busy for a couple of months.

Tybyle is flame and shadow I just don't have a lot of really high leveled guys to use except for my 2 tremmers tyble aparisin leanatar and teolmiton I really would like to use my sacroloon but it is just too weak and i don't think even with both of its protection moves, it would stand up to erodium. Aparisin knows psycho trick which does anywhere from 70 damage to about 150 damage and the move could freeze poison scorch paralyze put to sleep. He also has the move that has the chance to make the foe to horrified to attack. Tybyle has flame blizzard, blaze rampage, fire breath, fireball flurry, and scourge tail. My tremmers have tunnel, rage bug, polution solution, poison dart, and slam. My leanatar has earth quake which hits multiple enemies, quake which is just single target, slash, charge of fury which does more damage the lower his health is, and bite. My teolmeton has super spark, Iron tackle, pounce, electric shock, and iron guard. will any of those moves help agains
 t erodium? or do I need to completely change my party.
