I believe if you buy a .com domain through them, they have c-panel come with it. Free webhosting I'm not sure of since that's a subdomain. As for websites not giving you ftp, I'm talking those sketchy drag-n-drop website builders like Weebly, webs.com, and all that other ungood stuff. Also while X10 does indeed allow ftp access, I refuse to use them because of their fineprint policies, such as the infamous clear/not so clear 10mb limit for uploads. So I wouldn't go throwing that out there as an option. Lol.As for the poster talking about money to learn Linux? On the contrary. Learning Linux can cost you nothing. It's just deploying a server that could cost you, which is why services like jc-hosting are around and providing a quality service for either free or low-cost.

That is indeed a fairly slick interface reminiscent of RPG Maker and such, good job. A few things though:1. Its hard to make out what your saying in some parts of the video, such as in the beginning of the video with the TTS when setting up the project, and when your placing the water.2. Something I noticed was a lack of apparent orientation. I can hear you placing all the objects, the inn, the cobble stone, the water, the birds, but there's no indication of where those things are in relation to each other, you, or where they are in the map. What are the coordinates of the player, or Brush, within the 30 by 30 map? What coordinates of the map does the inn occupy? It does say the inns width, length, and height on creation, but whats its x/y position on the map? In other words, is there a way for users to get an indication of objects positions and the map geometry when creating or navigating them?

I do believe Tolk does have a java version. I just checked the zip I have of Tolk, and it indeed does have a java version. You'll need the files in the src/java folder, and the tolk.jar file. Maybe something else as well, I don't remember.

For some people it is worth it, for others it is not, and that is okay, and probably better for all involved.Oh, and access is still an issue with canes, I saw this on my facebook newsfeed the other day.I was told by someone identifying as a security guard that he could not allow me to walk through this shopping center with my long white cane unless he got approval from his supervisor. He insisted that my cane was dangerous to other shoppers, especially children, because I could trip them. This man sounded African-American, so I was quite surprised that he was trying to deny me access to a public facility based on prejudice and segregationism. I generally find that African-Americans are very understanding when I complain about being denied access to a place of public accommodation because of my membership in a visible and identifiable minority group. African-Americans have suffered tremendously from this practice.After he had mocked me for a while, and told me multiple times that he had served in the military for many years to defend our country, as if it made him more credible, two more men, one of whom claimed to be the supervisor, arrived on the scene. He became substantially less aggressive, which I appreciated, because he certainly made me anxious with how he yelled at me. It's not fun being surprised by someone's presence when they start shouting at you.The supervisor and the third gentleman insisted that I created danger, especially for the children, who I could trip with my cane.No amount of explaining the Americans with Disabilities Act and my right to enter places of public accommodation, and no amount of explaining the simple fact that my cane is not dangerous when used properly, would satisfy them.I asked the supervisor if he would be willing to give me his information and a written explanation of their choice to invent their own laws for their business. He refused and insisted that he did not have to give me anything. He reiterated that he would not allow me to come into the international marketplace and hit children with my cane.It is too bad that I could not get a citation of their special policy, but I will keep searching for it. If we are really such a menace to society, I will do my very best to educate the blind community about how dangerous we are. People often tell us that there is no discrimination, but they do not walk in our shoes. When they put a blind person in a sweatshop making seven cents per hour, it comes from the same thing. When they rip a baby out of its mother's arms in the delivery room because that mother is blind, it comes from the same thing.The real problem of blindness is not the lack of eyesight. It is the misinformation and lack of understanding which exist in society. Given the proper training & opportunity, we, the blind, can lead normal, productive lives. Am I butt hurt about that? No. I go up to the counter, say hi, how are you doing today (a seemingly unheard of thing  in this day and age, despite it being common 20 years ago) and god forbid I even said Merry Christmas before I left. The cashier actually sounded surprised that someone said it when she responded, in a slightly startled tone, well Merry Christmas to you too!Not wanting a dog is fine but let's not get ahead of ourselves and start replacing all companionship with technology. Read the Demon series by Daniel Suarez. The likelyhood of it actually happening is minimal, but what if it did? What would we do?I do agree that a dog getting sick is about 100x more likely than AI being hacked, but with the increase in technology reliance it's going to be interesting going forward. Self driving cars are going to be super cool because of all the idiots driving down the road on their cell phones. But there are countless issues. Who is liable if the self driving car smashes into someone and kills them? What if a person, due to sheer idiocy, tries to run that car off the road? Either way, I look forward to  that progressing. I might even be able to afford one of them in my lifetime. I just hope there are still some mechanical features like door locks and actual physical latches that I need to use a door handle for.

Another cool thing you can do with the UFO is to go up a square or two in the air. If you have a weapon with some vertical range on your numbers, keep pressing the spacebar to float. Then, while continuing to hold down the spacebar, switch to your weapon. If you do it right, you'll still be floating in the air, but you can turn left and right and massacre everything below you. I used that trick with great success in 23-3. Just don't take a step or you'll fall down.

The game isn't being developed anymore, but 1400 is a stable release, almost. I uploaded a package with both versions, and I'll put the link here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/h52d9bhcflls7 … 0.zip?dl=0Play on the old version until you reach the captain's room of the S. S. Anne, then, when you're outside of the room, save and close the game. Copy savegame.enc and savegameaa.enc to the Braillemon 1400 folder, not the old version. Load the game, go to the captin's room and do whatever you have to do their, then arrive back at Vermilion City. When you're at Vermilion city, save and close the game, copy the 2 save files (savegame.enc and savegameaa.enc) back to the old version and beat the game. Both versions are 1400, but the old version seems to work better. I included a guide for the sighted Pokemon games I found in case people need help, but when I finish mine I will replace that file with mine.

This is actually quite wonderful. All be it belonging in general game discussion, I very much look forward to not only your games, but this revolutionary engine. Question, how flexible will the engine be? Does it strictly know rpg mechanics, or can it adapt to you, for example, trying to create an fps, sidescroller/platformer, etc? This is something the audiogames community could really gain a lot of, both in great games and game creation. Are you planning to sell this engine in the first place, and if so do you intend to make it a unity-like crossplatform engine, or just Windows for now?

well some of you here probably already know about this, but it is really cool. duolingo is a language learning app for IOS where you select a language, and then complete lessons and level up, you can get powerups and other things too! There are 30 languages to select from, and it is 99% accessible. it might take you a few out of healths to get used to it, but you'll be going in no time. So, I think sounds can be improved, but it's just my advice and it's not the most important.However, I have something to say about the gameplay and about a bug that I have too.For the gameplay, I find that the phone often responds poorly to gestures. When I'm in the continu mode, I have to slide my finger up like a nag to access the go to checkpoint option.Attention, the following lines will contain SPOILERSI have also some problems with gestures in the runes puzzles. It often happens that my gestures are badly taken by the system. For this exemple, if I try to match air, dark and fire, it often happens that the gestures air and dark are done at the same time or one of the two is not done and I end up taking some damage.In itself, if I passed the levels of the puzzles, it's more luck than succeeding the gestures because I always finished just in time. One more dammage and death says at me welcome to you.For my bug problem: During the battle against the dark king, a glitch with the voice of the spirit occurs towards the middle of the battle. From then on, it would be a disaster, I make the right gesture to slash in the right direction and I can't cut him So I can't finish this fight, despite I tried to do it for fifteen minutes.SPOILERSENDIt may be possible that it comes from my smartphone, but I have a OnePlus 3T which is a powerful phone: 6 gig for my RAM, 128 gig for my space with a snapdragon 821. Hello all,Our name is Ebon Sky Studios, and We are a new audio games development team whose goal is to create immersive role-playing games for the blind community. Dogs can't be "hacked", it's true. But AI won't go snuffling for food, won't randomly chase squirrels, won't get sore feet, won't get distracted by other AI. And yes, I know most guide dogs don't actually chase squirrels, but I hope the point is made. Dogs are good, and they do many things insanely well, but they are biological creatures. Any argument you can make about AI being hackable, I can turn around and flip on its ear to say that dogs suffer marked decreases in reliability under certain conditions. And I'd think that, depending on the tech, it's more likely your dog gets sick than that your AI gets hacked.

Yeah, right now the best I can do is have random step sounds play and optionally load the ambience sound into memory and have it loop, which is just fine for small projects, but for larger games with more areas and stuff that just won’t do. I suppose I could do some more tinkering with mason’s engine, my main consern with that is the dll is litterly right there for anyone to fuck with.

Ok, so Apple Music support is here ahead of schedule. I got another free month somehow, so I decided to test it out. It works really well and even has some things Amazon wants to not give access to. If you have Apple Music and an amazon echo, I advise you to link the two of them. Another plus, it can't steal your music that way. I'm still missing 12 tracks from that stupid thing.

Back when this was created, me and X0 were still newbs in BGT and the project actually really sucked. For good map support in BGT, I'd check out how Reza coded his engine. I believe the functions are somewhere in this room. Keep in mind it's not a game, just a set of functions, and I think they are by default configured for 3d. I could also develop something better I guess, if I'm real bored one day.

No, Digital Ocean has $5.00 per month servers too, which is damn cheap. And you don't need to have a server to learn Linux. All you need is someone who will teach you and a good VM infrastructure. And I haven't found a web host that I know of that "strictly control my page content" and "deny FTP access". Every web host (such as X10, but others, too) that I've tried have allowed FTP, there was one that even allowed SSH.

I'll be the first to admit that if you wanna to learn some stuff about linux administration, I'd be willing to teach some things. Linode has some cheep plans if you can afford it for 5 bucks a month. I have a test server that I run everything on before porting it over to our main servers and that's about as good as it gets without breaking the bank for me. Lol.I will say between my other job that I have as being a professional musician, this and college, things get quite dizzy but it's all good. and post 10, thumbs up from you.
