At this point the two that are definitely going to be seen through to the end are Baldur's Gate, and Final Fantasy VII Remake, which are currently being worked on as we speak. They're the 2 that seem to have more podcast listens, and also the 2 I happen to enjoy the most. There will be some shorter games here and there as well, that will be released almost in their entirety like Brothers was. That said, the way I see it, we have 2 routes. We can drop the other ones that are currently getting cycled, and just focus solely on Baldur's Gate and FF7 Remake, meaning release more of them at once. Or, vote/poll on the third now that we've been through a couple. You all and myself, have at this point learned what a few of them are about, and how interesting/uninteresting some of these games are. Personally I think Death Stranding would be a good contender to drop. Looks like it's going to be real long, not getting a lot of interest. The other 2 that are getting cycled are Disco Elysium, and Yakuza 0. No matter what we drop, we'll still all be able to voice characters together as a community because Baldur's Gate allows that flexibility. Reaper Recording Issue Hi community,I'm currently trying to record a virtual instrument in Reaper, but when I play back the recording, my notes are significantly before the metronome, even though I'm almost on time during the actual recording process. It's almost as if Reaper is shifting the recording forward in the track, something that quantization can't fix. I changed some latency options, does that have something to do with it? At a meeting of the Committee of Union and Progress in February 1915, a speaker argued that "It is absolutely necessary to eliminate the Armenian people in its entirety, so that there is no further Armenian on this earth and the very concept of Armenia is extinguished." The party "envisioned the Armenian as an invasive infection in Muslim Turkish society", and CUP propagandist Ziya Gökalp promoted the idea that "Turkey could only be revitalized if it rid itself of its non-Muslim elements".[63] This incitement to genocide led directly to the murder of over a million Armenians.[64]In November 1914 Shaykh ul-Islam proclaimed Jihad (Holy War) against the Christians: this was later used as a factor to provoke radical masses in the implementation of the Armenian Genocide.[66]Armed Armenian civilians and self-defense units during the Siege of Van in April–May 1915On 19 April 1915, Jevdet Bey demanded that the city of Van immediately furnish him 4,000 soldiers under the pretext of conscription. But the code signing certificate you need requires an LLC and a rather significant chunk of change per year (I think on the order of $1000), then you get shipped a special hardware device to do the signing with. There's a cheaper one, but you have to have a lot of people install your program and claim it's not a virus before Microsoft will stop flagging it in that case. I'm not sure either will work, because I haven't had occasion to try and don't want to throw that kind of money into an experiment for a language I don't use, so take this with a grain of salt if you decide to try it for some reason. Re: Windows VPS's? If you just want to host a web site, you should use Linux and Linux-centric software. It will save you a ton of money. Obviously if you need to run something specific to Windows, that's different, but Windows VPSs tend to be expensive and Windows hosting/server software tends to be rather baroque and difficult to configure properly. Windows is a consumer OS that Microsoft decided to try to sell to the server market, and even Microsoft these days doesn't seem to really like it anymore.Any provider will let you install anything you want on it. The entire point of a VPS is that you get full access like it's a computer in your living room. Real problem is going to be the terrible latency, you'll probably need NVDA remote and you won't want to try to stream audio directly save for initial setup.Maybe someone will know of a good provider that's cheap, but last time I looked into this it was like $50/month for Windows (vs. $5/month for Linux). Sources are like speakers. Generators are like things you plug into the speakers. They're separate because you can have more than one generator plugged into a source at once, and, in future, you'll be able to put effects on them.Buffers are separate because you can share them between sources and cache them in memory in order to prevent needing to reload the file all the time. If Base doesn't have something like this, that's surprising to me, because for games you really want to be able to do that. Otherwise you'll have all sorts of glitching pretty early on because hard disks aren't that fast.You're right that it's somewhat odd to have 3 objects but, if you combine them, you lose a ton of flexibility. For example, Synthizer will eventually offer a thing that knows how to load a directory in parallel in the background, so that you can ask it for buffers and they're just already there ready for you.Licensing is fine.
