Lol. Almost every Spanish person I've met says to me that Spanish is hard. Like, aside from the irregulars and the different pronunciations of certain letters and rolling the tongue, its not that hard. As Ironcross said earlier, Engliish pulls alot from other languages, hence why it may be easier for us to pick up other languages.

Yes, I'm a part of it, and I am absolutely not going to throw anyone under the bus by saying "It's his, not mine, I didn't do it". But in the case of this specific game, I saw a problem, I said it was okay to highlight it as a problem based on believable proof from someone who knows more than I do. I wasn't the one who sparked the discussion, I was just one of the people who agreed with a proposed solution. That proposed solution backfired a bit, because it looks like we're picking on this game, and that wasn't our intention. This is why I apologized.And yes, I've come out against Crazy Party's use of copyrighted assets before, but on a five-person team, one voice, no matter how shrill you think that voice might be, can't carry the day, unless you're implying that at least two of the other four can't stand up to me. Also, bear in mind how much time passes between my occasional CP comments, and the fact that we're now staring this potential rule reform in the face. I wouldn't characterize it either as me enacting personal bias or me having an agenda. Hey, I've actually had some fun with the card-battle half of the game, and I know how much fun others have had with the game itself.To flip this narrative for a second, I'm also in favour of dropping support for the Alter Aeon sound pack (not the game itself, just the MushZ sound pack). I say this even though I have loved that sound pack ever since I found it. I say this even though the sound pack changed the way I played that game, and even though I love a lot of the music and many of the sounds within it. My very first kneejerk reaction to someone mentioning the Alter Aeon sound-pack - and by kneejerk, I mean three seconds or so - was "wait a sec, that thing is awesome, you can't--" And then I stopped. Yes, you can. If it's using copyrighted assets - and it is, it's full of them - then it's just as bad as other offenders. It doesn't matter how much I might enjoy it personally, on an artistic level or from the perspective of a player. It's still a problem. If you believe I have an anti-CP bias and am out to get it, that may be a little harder to support when other games are also considered problematic alongside Crazy Party.Also, revenue vs. non-revenue definitely is one aspect of this situation that bears consideration. I think that when you do it in an effort to make money, and are caught with copyrighted assets, that's way more trouble than if no one at all is getting actively harmed by this. That said, money isn't the only currency. I think popularity counts here too, and if you're using someone else's work to essentially get famous in the community, that's definitely iffy enough to warrant a look.Your idea of investigating games on a case-by-case basis is actually an approach I favour. It's either that, or it really -will look like a witch-hunt, and trust me, absolutely nobody wants that or thinks it's a good idea. There are only two issues, but I think both are possible to solve. The first is that if people know this, but want to go on doing what they've always done, they just won't tell us anything and the rule will hamstring us because we're unable to act on our own. I think that we'd have to phrase the rule such that will only investigate games when we have probable cause. so for instance, if I'm randomly playing a new game and I'm hearing copyrighted assets left and right, I can ask for it to be investigated by the team to see if 1. I'm reliable, 2. I'm wrong or not and 3. it's egregious enough to warrant action. My hearing those sounds represents probable cause, whereas, say, just knowing who made a game is not probable cause for investigation on its own. This would allow anyone, not just the staff, to ask that a project be looked at if there is probable cause. Again, not a witch-hunt.The other fly in the ointment is other pre-existing projects that are clearly benefiting in big ways from copyrighted assets (there are a few of them, it's not just a Crazy Party or Alter Aeon thing, believe me, I know). I think for some of those, it might be necessary to act based on demonstrable use of copyrighted assets.I also want you folks to keep something in the forefront of your minds when you react to what's being said here or elsewhere. This really isn't a huge deal. We can't shut down these projects, and wouldn't want to even if we had that power. We can't read your private messages, and there are tons of ways to talk about things that don't actually belong here on the forum itself. I feel like maybe some of you think these projects will die without the support of this forum,b ut they really, truly won't. Most of them are completely self-sustaining and, while they get some benefit from us, they don't need us for their continued success. As a net-negative impact, this proposed crackdown isn't actually going to impact most of you in huge ways.

The only reason I'm even considering recording them, and as 2 pointed out it would be crazy amounts of time so I don't want to do it anyway, is because all I'm trying to do is make them more usable.I'll look into the Stream's bookmarks. I don't even think I'd need multi-level bookmarks. Named ones would be nice though. I mean, it would be tedious if I had to start at the beginning of the thing and move through every bookmark to get back to where I was, but I shouldn't even have to do that. Popular Organ, at least, I haven't checked the others, jumps by sides. So as long as I remembered roughly where I was at, I could jump by side and then get to "Song XXX" or "moving around with chords" or whatever. That would actually accomplish almost exactly what I'd do if I recorded them, I'd just split it up into those named files.But like I said, I don't want to do that. It's skirting the edges of the agreement, if not outright violating it, and it would be incredibly time consuming anyway. I didn't even think about the bookmarking feature when I first posted because, like I said, I've just never needed to worry about it. I think I've run into one cassette conversion that didn't at least do stories or chapters. So it's been simple enough to just navigate back to the beginning of the most recent chapter and go from there in pretty much anything I've read so far. This is the first time I've needed more fine-grained control and have had no options whatsoever, other than the one cassette fiction book, and that was short.Anyway, thanks for the help all. That's exactly why I asked here, I figured there was something obvious I was probably overlooking. I'll read up on the Stream's bookmarking features and give that a shot. Hopefully there's a way to back them up, if this works. I'd hate to have to mark it all up and then lose it for some reason.

As I understand it, if a legal agreement says that someone can't use assets in any shape or form, then they can't use them in any shape or form. Whether or not they're being used in a commercial project or a free project is irrelevant. It's possible that the copyright holder of some sound or another won't care and won't take action, but there's always a chance they will. That's the whole point I'm seeing here. Yeah, it sucks. It sucks especially when all someone wants to do is make something fun and thinks having those sounds in their project would be cool. Sometimes it's done with no harm intended. At the end of the day, it's about protecting the forum as Jayde's said many times.

Jayde.That is all well and good, but you have stated your opinion on several ocasiosn regarding Crazy Party. You and I both know that no one will take it seriously if you come out and say. so listen. Crazy Party is getting the axe. it could be argued there a personal bias.My advice for what it's worth is to work off of the system where if a complaint is received regarding a games assets, that the team investigates it.Finally I think there's a lot that can be said about games that are not collecting any revenue Vs. ones that are.

This isn't something that should have actually come fully out of left field for any of you. I think arguing that there is no precedent for this is somewhat disingenuous, and is perhaps being enhanced by the appearance of favouritism.That said, I respect the consensus that enforcing an upcoming rule for one situation looks like favouritism. It isn't actually going to be that way in a big-picture sense, but I hear you when you say that's how it looks at the moment. I would like to point out that I have personally not heard this sound pack and do not have experience with space MUDs; as such, this is by no means a personal grudge. While I support the findings of other members of the team in determining that this game's sound pack had problematic assets, this is not a matter of personal motivation for any of us.No, we haven't drafted a rule for the categorization of permissible and nonpermissible use of assets specifically yet. That's what we're working on. The fact is, this is a complicated issue that has a crapton of nuance to it. If it wasn't, we would have come to a decision a really long time ago.We know full well that it's not just a question of whether or not you own and will prove ownership of every one of the literally hundreds of sound assets you possess in a given project. To ask you to do this is extremely onerous and completely unreasonable. We know, too, that a lot of cases where sounds are used between projects are not so egregious. I want you folks to realize that if you have a menu sound, a beep, a click, a couple of footsteps, that some other game has, we're not going to shove you out the door. It's a matter of scope. It is very difficult to figure out a rule which fairly enforces this stance. "Let everything be" is not viable. "Kill everything with even one offending asset" is awfully draconian. So we're trying to work, between the five of us, on a plan that strikes that middle ground. If you are willing to replace the assets in question, then we want to work with you. We're trying to encourage people to use their own assets, or to give correct attribution where it's due. We are not suddenly going to be reaching out to all developers, publicly or privately, asking them to verify the sources for all their assets. The only reason this game has space goblins is because Games Workshop already used orcs, Elves, Drow and demons in their space tabletop game, Warhammer 40k. Heck, the gretchens of the Orks are essentially goblins.And is it unreasonable for fantasy races to be considered aliens in this setting? They don't exist on earth, and if we found them on other planets, they'd be considered aliens to us. Also what's wrong with mixing settings? We have plenty examples in the mainstream world. i already mentioned Warhammer 40k for fantasy space grimdark. Shadowrun for Cyberpunk fantasy.I'd give it a shot.

It was an extremely poor decision on the moderation team's part to pass a judgement based on a rule in progress. Typically, you draft a regulation and place it into circulation, allow people to read it, and then you enforce it. How do you justify cracking down on what is (as of now) a nonexistent rule? Sure, you'll be thinking about it and writing it into existence soon, but you haven't yet. This is basically saying we're prohibiting you from drinking pepsy at our store, even though there's nothing on the door saying you can't drink pepsy here. We'll have the sign made in a few weeks, but even not seeing the sign, you should've known the rule anyway, even though up until now, pepsy was a perfectly allowed beverage option.I'm going to say that, in this case, the moderation team has failed the community, and should probably be subject to the community failure clause. This is a guilty until proven innocent situation. This is a blatant disregard for your user base, by attempting to force on them a rule which they knew nothing of, had no choice to accept or refuse.You came out swinging in what I believe was an impassioned decision that resulted in a very poor execution. I've generally always supported the moderation team before, but I also have always tried to fight for the under represented, and in this case, your entire user base is the under represented.It is the severest form of draconian rule to pass a mandate without allowing the members' consent. Would it have harmed anything to let the rule sit for a while as you considered it, drafted it, then put it into play? Would it have hurt anything to let the user base know such a rule existed?It definitely would've caused a stir, but it would have anyway. If this is how moderation is going to be run on this site, then perhaps audiogames has run its course and the user base has a whole needs to wave goodbye and find new grounds. Heck, I left for a while and only returned because of Say The Spire, and what do I return to? Draconian dictatorship without any degree of consideration for the users of the forum.It's this same kind of thing that saw previous moderation staff members be dismissed. Do we perhaps need a new moderation team if the current one is perfectly ok trying to enforce a rule that does not exist?If you were going to enforce this rule, why to this one particular developer? Why not someone else who was much more established? Because this new developer was smaller, has a smaller following, and so you probably figured you'd receive less backlash than if you were to spring it on something like Crazy Party, Alter Aeon, or, yes, Cosmic Rage.I think the moderation team owe the folks who make this game a huge apology, as well as one to the entire user base. You need to reconsider your positions. You are not our parents or our gods, nor our potentates. You are at the end of the day still users of the forum who also have the ability to moderate things when they get out of hand, that's it. Please don't pull the high horse and think you know what's better, which is exactly what you're doing when you try to pass a rule without anyone else's knowledge, consent, or ability to refuse.This is why companies send out terms of service updates, and until such time, cannot enforce such rules. If PayPal wanted to disallow the use of Visa, they would have to first inform their users, then provide a grace period, then put the new decision into play.I hope you're proud of yourselves for having gone this route. If you intend to stick to your guns, I'll probably have to leave this site, but not before I send yet another strongly worded communication to the site owners. It got things changed once when the Steam situation came up, and even if it does nothing now, my voice on the behalf of the user base will have been heard by the site owners.Moderation staff, you are not a totalitarian rule.

Even if you meta tag it, that doesn't guarantee that the sound is original. For example, some of the sounds in the Miriani pack seem to be unaltered sounds from Hollywood Edge and such. Mostly the punches I believe. Others are snippets of larger samples.

Unfortunately ripping them directly is not allowed per the agreement, and bookmarks won't really help you here since you can't set multi-level bookmarks. A lot of NLS's cassette digitization was just a matter of straight ripping with no structure, and I think music instructions was lower on the priority list for conversion than books were, owing to how many libraries have waited several years to actually recall the tapedecks.I wonder if their budget allows for more QA people on some of these book conversions.

This is quite interesting. Have you tried it with any other kinds of videos with subtitles? I use Youtube a lot and stumble across a lot of videos that are text only. If it's able to recognize subtitles in anime, I would think it would be able to do the same for videos with a lot less going on visually.

First, we hope that the scatterings of goblin type stuff will work into the story line properly.Second, I am working to remove any sounds I find that are meta tagged. I think the use of the word "stolen," is harsh considering I have heard 95% of these sounds in other games, or variants thereof. Third, most of the files in the pack have no tag even stating who the owner is. Those that do, are being handled as we state on our website.The developers were not reached out to privately by any moderator concerning the pack, other than a member of the CR soundpack team after this topic began to be discussed.I think the professional thing to do, with any game developer, is to reach out to them privately and discuss the issues rather than make such a scene. This may get me in more hot water but I am trying to speak as diplomatically as possible.While the decisions to crack down on Soundpacks should be respected, the handling of this entire situation has been shotty and, whether it was meant as such, did seem to be a target at the new guy because of the method in which this was handled.Thanks everyone who has given feedback, and we hope you enjoy the game.

First of all, you can always ask NLS. I do not know rather or not they will do better mark up for you though. I am betting that it is worth asking even if they will not seeing that it does not really take much to ask them the question. Second, have you tried using the book mark feature of the stream? It is not nearly as easy as it would be if they marked it up for you, but it is worth a try. That is about the only way I can think of, at this sec, to make what you want to do easier. As for using an audio editor for this would be painful and require a lot of time from where I am sitting here. To me, it would be worth asking NLS before resorting to this.

We aren't stopping you from playing the game or even talking about it. As far as impact, this game's sound-pack issues may not even do it any damage, and hey, if the game itself is worth playing, then it will survive on its own merits. Additionally, if the sound pack is ever fixed up, we are more than happy to bring it back. This goes for any game or product we have to crack down on in the future as well. It's not a one-way, irrevocable loss of support; it's contingent upon possession and use of pirated assets. Get rid of those, and we have no problems.

@Jonnyboy1991Selected mods should be remembered from last time so unless you want to change which mods to use you can just hit enter.If you do want to use mods, worst case scenario you could just subscribe and unsubscribe, and use check all which should be clickable even if you can't see the list of mods. Do note that constantly changing subs is sketchy as several people have run into issues with subbing not working right.There was a previous comment that mentioned that ReadTheSpire can help you navigate the ModTheSpire window. I'll copy it here:If you have rts.exe installed, open it, then shift tab once to the list, then use your NVDA numpad 2 to go into the list, then press that keystroke again to find the checkbox, use NVDA plus numpad enter to click it and it will be unchecked. using NVDA plus 4 and 6 will move you through the list of mods but you'll hear 1 of, then the amount of mods, to find out what the mod is, NVDA 2 into the mod, then NVDA 6 until you here the name.

I tried who wants to be a millionaire, that is now accessible. Madden nfl mobile 21 is not very accessible, not even playable but it does read some menus and team names. Family fude is not playable either. I emailed freedom scientific, and sent microsoft narrator feedback, and recommended that jaws and narrator add Live Screen and image recognition as downloadable addons which will let them do the same as voiceover. I also recommended a gamer mode for Jaws and narrator that will put them partially asleep, but they will stay awake enough to Live-recognize the screen to read in-game items and menus including the steam, EA-Games and origin-pc interfaces. I also hope this live recognition comes to xbox soon. oh and I will also be contacting google disability support and recommend the same...

For those who do, a question, well actually a situation i have.I bought Sibelius ultimate with student discount; given i'm in college. However, a day has passed and I haven't received the conformation email or anything, even though the order appears in, my order history; in my account. Back when I bought protools, I got the conformation email fearly quickly. Keep in mind, you have to sign in to your avid Account in order to buy stuff, so yeah. What i'm wundering is; is this normal? I mean,  in avid's websight it says they are understaffed do to covid, but I feel that the email is... taking a little bit too long to arrive. Is this normal with avid, for your email with software links to be added to your account and sent? I'm just wondering, shoould I be worried? I bought a perpetual license and even though I had the student discount; it wasn't cheep; $300. I mean, i'll wait, but i'm kinda concerned that I haven't gotten the email yet as back when I bought protools,  the mail was sent quickly. ?  If anyone has had any experience with this, please let me know.

I think it's a bit rich for the Cosmic Rage sound pack folks to claim that sounds were lifted from CR to be used in another sound pack, when I'm sure they still have remnants of the Miriani sounds left over in their own pack, which I made back in 2006? This means Cosmic Rage might not be able to talk about their own sound pack, either...

Most space mud sound packs use a subset of sounds I made for Miriani under the pseudonym of Corwin Muiranheim. Can I blacklist all of those sound packs, including any sound packs currently reusing them for Miriani? I have several sounds I made for Godwars 2 that were reappropriated for Alter Aeon, so that's gotta be blacklisted, too.What I'm essentially saying is that this is an endless rabbit hole we're going down. As I've said before, as long as people aren't making a profit from the sounds they use, and provided they're not claiming ownership or creative rights or attributing themselves as the authorized redistributors of said content, and are reusing the sounds under the auspices of fan recreation, there are certain liberties that are usually granted -- in that even big ticket companies usually look the other way.Do I like people reusing sounds I made back in 2006? Not really. It's only an issue when they claim the sounds as their own creations, as Humanity MOO tried to do when they lifted the sounds I made for Miriani. I think that should be the real problem -- none of these sound packs are properly accrediting the sources they pulled from, thereby inadvertently subsuming the sounds as their own creations.What others have said is right, too. If we start down this rabbit hole, we're going to have to start examining every audio game. Aside from the obvious offenders, does this game break the rule? Does that? Can I still talk about QC Game Room without analyzing its sounds? What about BK3? What about insert game name?

some people learn slower than others, and some learn more faster, that is a point. but if i want to sound like a native spanish speaker, something like a native spanish speaker (without the english accent}) but sometimes someone can be better at spanish than oters.the key is... i think all know the key to be succesful spanish speakers or english speakers or whatever

Treasure Hunt Back Ground Music and It's my Party with Keyboard and Ba

Hey everyone.So I have been getting better at my Yamaha PSRE463 Keyboard. Now I recorded everything with Audacity and yes this keyboard can do USB Audio. For my Bass Guitar, I just plugged my 4-String Silvertone Bass Guitar into my mixer like I normally do for recording Bass. Anyway, So for those of you who have played Treasure Hunt will probably know what the background music sounds like. Well I did something similar here but I used the chord progression from the Song: "It's My Party" by Lesley Gore. So when you brain storm and combine those two things together on the keyboard along with the Bass Guitar for an Organic Bass Line, This is what you get!. it's more easier to learn english has a spanish speaker, than an english speaker learning spanish. spanish is very hard to learn, because of the pronunciation of all those words that for example contain the letter r. and te new letter you have to learn (ñ) to familiarice with spanish words.

It is a bit confusing to say the least. I don't want to further muddying any waters here but, most of these sounds are in several packs. I am not sure why one is getting singled out and others not. I don't want to cause issues but am a little dismayed.I plan to do my best to rectify the issues within the soundpack, but the question remains. If you edit a sound a bit and stick your tag in the meta information, then the next guy does the same, whose sound is it? I can rightly claim that some of the sounds are mine from some time ago when dealing with packs.At any rate, sorry for all the confusion.

Well, I'm out. I tried, I really did. I got to the beginning of Ch. 6 in Great Hunt. I had to slog through Mat's inner monologue of paranoiac dumbness in Eye, and I see Ch. 5 of Hunt was just setting up some more paranoid factionalism. And then, in the beginning of Ch. 6, Rand's having some sort of dream or something.I'm sorry. I want things to happen. I do not give a good gods damn about the dumbness that's  going on in the heads of these idiots, in particular because, well, they're just such idiots. Oh hey look, all the guards turn into gloomy depressive assholes around a dude who's totes been corrupted by the dark? You don't say! And neither of them get it? Jordan may as well be writing it on a brick and beating you in the face with it until the letters are permanently impressed into your skin, and they're just completely and utterly baffled by it all. I'm not sure if fantasies with byzantine plots and counter plots and paranoia and all just aren't my thing or what, but I can tell you this.Maybe, if WOT got its shit together, philosophically speaking, and got rid of like two-thirds of what I've read so far, it would be a better set of books. Seriously Robert Jordan, we get it. The Dark is some scary scary stuff. It corrupts things. Yeah, people are paranoid. Again, I get it. Half of your characters can't see what's right in front of their faces. Again, got that on lock buddy, you can stop belaboring it. I just feel like half of Hunt is going to be a rehash of half of Eye, it is so far. If all of that just happens more as the books get longer, and from everything I've heard it does, I'm sorry. I just can't bring myself to slog through the utter tedium to get to this great story all y'all claim is hiding in here, and that you seem to love so much. I need way more plot movement and way fewer idiots than these books seem to be offering me. I feel like, at this point, "the dragon reborn" breaks the world by trying to avoid his cat, tripping over his own two feet, and spilling his beer all over the insides of the computer that runs the world, shorting everything out and killing the power.P.S.If you think this is a harsh review, ask me what I thought of that horror story about Jack the Ripper whose title I can't remember at the moment. Because good holy gods, was that some quality dumbness.

Some, not all. I've used it with jaws before without too many problems, the only keyboard shortcut I remember off the top of my head being blocked is the one to open user timelines. Tween also doesn't contain the ability to use global keyboard shortcuts.Handle is @arqeria, btw.

a flame water would be neutral to plant and water, also giving it weakneses to earth and stone (craggallem would beat this thing by using mudslide iif it's slow) or if the water flame manamon is fast (a good water move like drench with a decent strenght will kill a craggallem in 1 hit). that sharkophantôme thing i created because if was thinking of a good moveset for a ghost water type (flood, sonic force, one mind, beyond bolt and volt tower at level50 to kill water types)and artisowl aniway can learn those moves but it's not the same if a water type learned those moves, a dolfone with flood as an example (that manamon is seriously overpowered) because of 20 attacks simultaneously, that's too much attacks (hyper forms deserve that cantity of attacks) and not normal manamon.here's a short of a miticalname. devolfirtype. shadow magicfisical description. devolfir is a devil. it has 3 heads and 6horns in all of it's heads. it has fur all over it's body. and it's eyes show malice, evil and cunning. it also has spikes in it's headmanapedia entry. this is definitely, a follower of irroadium and is nicknamed as the son of the devil. it is a manamon full of evil, wanting to make a lot of evil in this world. but if you capture one of these, it will be loyal to you, and will even follow your wishes instead of the wishes of the devil or the bad dragon.avilities.devil follow. this manamon in the wild is controlled by the devil and irroadium. it uses the moves that the devils want to make this creature usemoves (god form)vulnerability scan, chaos light every 3 turns, chaos blast every 5turns, final oblivion every 5 turns, slash, meteor rush, gamadrain, flame blizard, vulnerability oblivion every 5turns, and drenchmoves (catchable form)if you teach from the move tutor.shadow claw, fear feed, fire breath, tri beam, magic lights, and bizarre illusionmoves in the catchable form (it starts in the god form at level40 and then in the catchable form it starts at level 50)magic wave, night stick, psichedelic spell, zombie's breath and white lance when it's caughtat level 70it learns meteor rush, and at level 75 it learns oblivion slashstats at level50 if they are perfect.150hp, 120defense, 130strenght, 130 magic attack, 120magic defense, and 80speed
