I normally wouldn't do this but I really feel like I have to point this out. Why are you wasting time here? No-one who didn't use the search feature has to justify their use of the search feature. People are just looking for help. You're giving pedantic responses for some reason I'm not entirely sure of.People don't have to use the search feature the way you want them to. People aren't refusing to use the search feature maliciously. The only thing you're doing by insulting people who didn't use the search feature correctly is wasting everyone's time and possibly making yourself irritated at something that in the long run really doesn't matter. I've seen this in multiple threads.Also there is a huge difference between "oh hey these are the keywords you could use" and "you're lazy and lying". Shadow Rine After Story Puzzle Help

Spoilers for Shadow Rine after story followI made a topic on this before but no matter what I search for I can't seem to find it. I'm stuck on the Heat Crater dungeon. I tried giving each ball to the statues in the order of the zodiac but that doesn't seem to have worked. Does anyone know what the right order is?

Yeah you are going to die a lot, that's pretty much how the game is designed. Also on keyboard I believe your default interact button is e. Also on pc make sure that your dash at cursor and attack at cursor settings are turned off and that the autoaim is turned on.

If you don't hear footstep sounds you aren't moving. Make sure to lower the music volume in settings though, it can drown out a lot of the audio cues.

In Hades you can use ranged weapons, the game has an autoaim settting that defaults to on. Also the lava isn't a big deal once you figure out the room layouts.

Regarding the bear, the way I thought you had to do it was to wait for it to finish the charge then cast just before the attack starts. It would do its attack then it would walk into range of the spell when it was charging back out again and get hit. That's how I did it with air magic, the other elements might have the wrong timing. I agree with the plant boss though, I kind of just aimed for the middle of where the slower projectiles were coming from, spammed gust and hoped.I think the problem with the wall sound is that it seems to restart the sound every time your position changes so you get a painful grating effect. Overall though navigation is much better. The rapids minigame is kind of annoying navigation wise though, the obstacles seem to be very wide so it can be impossible to dodge some pairs of them.Also some of the dialogue seems to be unskippable, including the quest dialogue and the job prompts (for example you have to listen to the entirety of the overtime prompt every time). There also seems to be a bug with the menu scrolling sound, for me it only plays when going down through a menu, not up.Overall this demo is definitely an improvement and I'm looking forward to this game.

@james I don't recommend getting the switch version and calling it accessibility is a stretch. The game is playable only in god mode and with a mod that extends the mirror mod to give you more health regeneration/etc due to access issues. I only recommend getting this on pc.

The pact has a row for each punishment type and each row has 2 buttons: the one on the right increases your rank in that category and the one on the left decreases it. Different pacts will have different heat amounts per rank so I'd recommend checking the wiki for the actual numbers. When hitting these buttons, you'll hear a kind of glittery sound when you hit the next minimum level for bounty conditions to be met (for example if you beat the game on heat 5, it would play that sound when your heat costs sum to 6). Going over that plays a different sound panned left (say you went from 6 to 7, there would be a sound panned left that plays). To start a run, click on the button that plays a different sound when you move over it compared to the others. Also note that your heat saves for each weapon separately, so after you win or lose a run on a heat level and enter the pact interface, the previous ranks for that weapon are still selected.

@arceus The room containing the sack is a fountain chamber at the end of one of those sequences of tiny Styx rooms (it's random which one so just keep trying doors). You can't miss it since the game won't let you continue until you pick it up. It doesn't make a sound so you just have to run around and spam interact to get it, though it usually is located near the water sound of the fountain. That chamber will also have another reward you have to grab before the door out appears.

@arceus right, there's no way to find the boat without taking at least one tick of magma damage. In general quickly dash around the top corners/edges of islands spamming interact until you get it. Eventually you figure out the pattern to it.Regarding the first asphodel room, walk right until you hear the bubbling magma sound to your right, dash right once and hit interact quickly and you should get it, if not you'll be right next to it.

Regarding Asphodel, you need to learn the room layouts (also just grind up with the mirror to get more hp). The boats always show up at the top of the screen or off of the top of the island you're on. Based on the sound of the spawn, move in that direction and check the upper edges of the islands (it'll usually be as far in a direction you can go).

The snowmono is essentialy a puzzle/gimic fight. There's an accessory that prevents accuracy debuffs (or boosts accuracy, it's been a while). Equipping that to a manamon just trivializes the fight since it isn't that tough on its own.

All of the scenario branches lead back to the same point, I'm pretty sure you have to complete all of them eventually. I think there is some optional dialogue but after you complete the game you can go back through story chapters to find it.

You actually can get that chest in the forest. there's a screen northwest of the village with a south exit. This leads to a screen with a section you need to dash across, following the path from there leads you to the chest.I'm pretty sure that to unlock the extra dungeon you need to complete the temple dungeon. Aria gives you the courage goblet thing, which the quest giver activates when you talk to them. This allows you to get into the extra dungeon.

The analogue stick doesn't move the mouse directly as such. Just to clarify, you didn't map the stick to the mouse directly with some kind of controller emulator software right? The game has its own controller mapping which will work much better in theory. Also does your pc's specs meet the minimum requirement for those of the game (as per its steam page)?

If you want to use Text the Spire I recommend using the companion program written for it, named Read the Spire. These mod names are going to get confusing fast rofl. Your mod directory should be C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\sayTheSpire\mods\You need to either subscribe to the required mods from the steam workshop or copy the needed mod files to the mods directory. Once done run Read the Spire found here https://github.com/pitermach/ReadTheSpire.Make sure you also grab the achievement enabler mod or a certain character won't unlock properly later (the fourth character's unlock is based on getting the win a run achievement for the first 3, so you need Achievement Enabler to do that before you beat the game as all 3 of the characters)

It definitely doesn't sound like the game is using Open Al. It's also possible that Game Maker 2 has a weird hrtf model as the default, I don't know if you can change that. The problem with the first person navigation for me is that you can't tell how much you turn at any one time (because of the audio) and that when you're walking you don't know when space opens up to your left or right. Maybe top down navigation would be better for this if you can adjust the pitch change by a lot for things behind you. It could also allow you to make more interesting and complicated rpg style dungeons if you wanted to go that route.

So I like this so far, I can tell it has a lot of potential. right now though the navigation in the minnygame areas (like the quests) feels extremely clunky. A lot of the time I can't tell how fast I'm actually turning or where I generally am. I like how it tells you what is in front of you though. I just got completely stuck at the farm because I couldn't side step or find any openings.There also appears to be a bug with the menu that lists your spell xp. I did air training and no matter how many times I did the menu showed me having 0 air xp.

For the Chiroperta, they're usually aligned horizontally close together and you avoid them by moving to the side of the hallway that has the most space. You can tell by moving vertically because their sound decreases in pitch when you're above them.

You're right, it's Varatha the Eternal spear. God mode activation is the chime I believe, though if you OCR the loada game screen you should see god mode somewhere at the bottom.For the spear, it has a 3 hit combo (hit attack 3 times quickly), if you hold attack and release there's a charged spin attack I think that clears out crowds (has 2 levels of charge past the first one), hitting special throws the spear, hitting either attack or special when you aren't holding it returns it to you. The spear can damage enemies on the way back to you.

@simba are you hitting the vague direction of the enemy before you start holding the charged shot? A lot of the times I heard the bow firing to the right instead of to the left at enemies and vice versa. I'm not sure why a lot of the time your bow is just firing completely the wrong way, it looks like you have aim assist on. I'd check to make sure though.

Just dodge whenever you think they could be. Generally it depends on the weapon you're using though. For the bow and (spoilery 6th weapon) you can stay ranged so you can just dash away from enemy groups a lot and spam shots. For the other 4 it'll depend on how aggressive you want to play it.

Usually the rooms are laid out so that they're wider than they are high, so you can usually dodge left and right with little issue. You'll know if you're dodging at a wall or something because you can hear the enemies not panning as you move away. Also dodging past the enemies is an option, that way you know where open space is.

If you want to test if aim assist is on, go to the courtyard and equip the bow. Face Skelly, if aim assist is off your arrow will go nowhere near him. it's the very first option in the controls menu I believe.Also an important thing about lava. The damage lava does to you builds up over time (starting at 1 damage per tick and increasing). Dashing resets the damage amount back to 1, so dash a lot.

The dash is the key to pretty much everything in this game honestly. with asphodel the rooms are islands with lava in between them. Unfortunately the only way to really viably get past it is to grind with the mirror of night until you can withstand landing in lava a few times per level (with god mode on this is fine at 80% damage reduction). Unfortunately I think the only way people are getting past this is with a mod that extends the mirror of night's powers https://www.nexusmods.com/hades/mods/41Regarding targeting, the game will snap to the closest target. The sword is very hard to use though, I recommend using literally any other weapon first until you get a feel for ranges. Pretty much every enemy's attack has a startup sound so you can dash away from or past them depending on what you want at the right time.

Serabella's f, d, df, hp isn't a launcher, I think it's a wall bounce but I may be wrong on that one. You can chain a combo after it if you're closer enough to the corner.Her normal launcher is her c.hp which you can usually immediately follow up with the f, d, df, throw move if you want an easy combo ender. Generally her c.lk, c.mp, c.hp is a good chain to start combos off as the c.mp moves you closer to the enemy.In general you want to be defending as little as possible when you can avoid it. Skullgirls has so many ridiculous mixup options characters can throw at you that you can't really react to all of them, especially at a higher level.

@arceus Do you know what in particular you were struggling with? If not it's okay, this game is extremely complicated. In general though if you can beat the AI on the harder difficulties (I can reliably beat nightmare AI) you're on the right track. Online is brutal.There are no infinite combos (at least if there are, it's probably a bug). A lot of combos may sound infinite but in reality they're resetting (essentially stopping the combo for a very brief window and the nstarting another one, there are a bunch of ways to do this).

It says you need to install the JRE but as far as I can tell you don't actually need to, since the game comes bundled with a version of the JRE (since the game is a java application). The steam workshop lets you install mods for the game, to find it visit the Slay the Spire page and click on "Visit the Workshop". You can just install Mod the Spire, BaseMod, Text the Spire, and Say the Spire from there directly. Make sure to follow the instructions in either Text the Spire or Say the Spire's readme files to activate mods; they do not automatically activate. You can choose to run Text the Spire and Say the Spire simultaneously if you want to as well. Text the Spire does not work with controllers; it provides a fully text interface for the game (similar to muds or interactive fiction games), whereas Say the Spire provides support for browsing the game's interface directly.

The sound actually is good enough to tell what's going on with enough practice, though yeah some stuff is unreactable without vision unfortunately. The tutorial uses the complicated notation for a reason; there are a lot of complicated combos and situations later on that would take far longer to read without it.

That screen has the 3 crystals, each of which is tied to one of the three switches. So when you're entering the room with the switches, it is the same room as the one with the locked entrance, you're just approaching it from another entrance. So you can consider the room broken into sections with the slab with crystals in the southern section and three other sections, one per switch.The two side switches are disabled by just following the paths through the forest and entering that screen to step on them, the third (northern) switch needs to be accessed from the north somehow (don't leave the forest though, the solution is there).

@bradTry checking your Slay the Spire send to devs folder (probably c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Slay the Spire\send to devs\. There should be a logs folder, the file you want is literally the first one in the list. I think that should contain whatever error caused it to crash, generally like 10-20 lines up from the bottom. You're looking for keywords like Exception.

Hey try the controller on pc. I've had weird xbox lag issues before, rule out both that and a possibly just broken controller. Failing that there is an option in controller settings to set the timing windows to long instead of medium.

The recovery items  are where the notes are visually laid out (space note in the center of the track, d, f, j, and k from far left to far right). With the zigzag notes (e/r/u/i) it's pretty much impossible to tell and I don't know if recovery items are even on them.

This is definitely one of the most accessible fighting games I've seen in a while, though it might not seem so at first because like most fighting games you will get obliterated online initially. I'm actually starting to hold my own in ranked, but I don't know how long that will last. Pretty much everything in the game has sound cues, including jumps and the universal overhead. Unlike most fighting games it doesn't delay the sounds really far after the visuals either. Both the ps4 and steam versions have stereo audio, too. The steam game has the panning kind of compressed towards the center, but I think the overall panning ranges are the same as the ps4 version.Everything up until the second to last boss of the rpg mode is playable completely. The bosses have audio queues for their attacks that you can use to dodge as a blind person, though you have to get creative with how you do it sometimes. The last few bosses really gave me trouble accessibility wise, I had to use co-op mode to do it. Everything else, like the menus/weapon upgrading/etc, in rpg mode appears to be doable with OCR though.

None of the QTEs are required to advance the story, you might just have to win fights with less hp. I don't think any of the story fights are that difficult. I think you get some costumes and maybe an achievement for getting all of them, which still sucks to miss out on but at least the story is doable.

Is it the fight where the 3 skeletons appear or the one later? Skeletons are honestly infuriating, the Einherjar does deal light/holy/whatever damage so make sure to use it as Ein, apart for that though I'm not sure.

make sure you're copying the contents of the assets folder, not the assets folder itself. For example you should have a %appdata%/RetroArch/system/ppsspp/ folder which contains flash0, lang, etc.

With the ppsspp core make sure to follow the instructions on this page. Without the assets being installed you just get a black screen at the start of most games (for Riviera for example, the text is still OCR-able but the screen visually is just black and the game will break after the language selection).

For people stuck with combat, countering always works because combat defies the laws of physics. Your opponent is interrupted as soon as you hit the key, not when your attack actually hits them. Since every enemy has pretty much the exact same windup speed it becomes ridiculously easy once you realize this. I think there is one enemy where blocking (the down arrow, I don't know what the game calls it) doesn't work.

I just figured out the marsh puzzle.SpoilersOne of the marshes is a dead end. If you go back and destroy the other debris it'll let you pass (and also repeat the exact same dialogue for some reason).There is also a weird querk/bug with the audio library. You never actually hear the bubbles that are behind you. You hear bubbles that are one space in a given direction unless the bubble is ahead of you, in which case you can hear it 3 or 4 steps away. So to tell if there's an opening, turn towards a space where you hear nothing. If you then hear a bubble ahead of you, you can move forward.end spoilers

{d} is down, {db} is down back, {b} is back, {ak} is any kick. To do it on keyboard it's down, press left while down is being held, release down, then hit a kick. You don't need to hit down after the back. It's kind of like a flowing motion from the down to the backc if that makes sense.

The trial and conversation sections are OCR-able, but investigations are point and click heavy. There are also some sections of trials that rely on being able to see pictures and selecting certain parts of pictures with a mouse-like cursor.

The back gate is the northern gate and the front gate is the southern gate for some reason. Go straight north from the back gate past the screen with the save point and you  should be able to find your way from there.

Spoilers for temple dungeonI think the rock door might be in the complicated screen on the third floor of the temple past the teleporters. Keep in mind that the screens themselves don't overlap, but the three northern exits from that screen lead you to different parts of the following screens they lead to.

Picking up furniture and attacking seems to be inconsistent. I was one square away from Punk Carlos at the end of the first mission, but I couldn't attack him for some reason. After attacking one of the other punks in the same square as a chair, I couldn't pick it up for some reason or throw it. Also I'm not quite sure how the combat options work. At one point I could use the combo ability, but I couldn't use it for any of the other fights I was in.
