I can recommend Motorola since I have one in the house, almost 3 years old and still works fine on android 10 with good battery.Nokia is awesome if you get a decent one, don't get anything lower than the 6 line since they have lag spikes and you won't like it at all.Samsung a isn't great these days, I mean if you don't mind plastic and you go with CSR only, Samsung is really good, anything above the A51 though, the stuff under it uses Mediatech this year like A31 and the other ones, so can't recommend that.Probably the A52 is out already, check that one out.I can also recommend Xiaomi, they are accessible, fast and really good for the prices, I would go for a Poco, but any will do since they really don't lag. Does it worth it? @1, to be honnest, I have both a stupid Samsung A50 and an iPhone XR and even that I tried hard for the last 8 months to at least make my iPhone main and the Samsung secondary, I just couldn't, at all.Everything that I can do on my Samsung, plus the microphones, plus the fact that the thing still has a headphone jack plus a lot of other stuff that I will probably post later when I actually feel like I can be coherent in my words, the iPhone just remained a pretty expensive music player and navigation system since after a year of ful on abuse, my Samsung's battery isn't reliable anymore, same with everything else on it since it took soo many drops, stepped on it, it fell off the table when charging and what ever else you can imagine.If my android had better speakers and poor thing was still fast and reliable, I think my iPhone would just sit on a shelf, me pulling it out just for the ockassional new ios game or timecrest.And I almost forgot, iPhone's official twitter client is better than the android one, at least for me, I might be the weird one though and the one who couldn't afford tweetings. Re: choosing between android phones If you think about it, with the money on an One+ you could get the s20, or you could get the fe on the money of a Pixel 5 and both are plastic so you have to consider that.The Moto is fine, but it won't get fast software updates at all.The s10 is good if you are looking for a cheaper s20 and the speakers are just great on both.It depends on the build quality you want, plastic, s20 fe and Pixel 5 and probably the Moto but not sure about that, glass the s10 and the rest, but from what I've seen, in a metal and glass phone the speakers are just better.And if you had the S8, you would feel right at home with a flagship from Samsung, just much, much better. Yeah, the Ideapads are built like garbage, but the Thinkpads, man the thinkpads are great no matter which one you get.My t410 from 2009 still works and beats any brend new HP Stream or the cheaper laptops outa there, like the brend new ones under 200 dollars and probably any brend new under 250 or 300.You will love the keyboard and at the same time miss it when you will have to part with it in a few years, the volume buttons are useful, the screen was great even in my 2009 model or so sighted people told me.And let's not forget, it is built like a fucking tank, it can take anything, fell off tables too many times and the only thing it has is the bottom case has a cracked corner and the screen frame has a little dent in it. Nothing will happen, most phones don't have a fingerprint sensor that supports gestures.The A20 is a cheaper phone and the fingerprint is just as it is, touch and unlock or authenticate.Same with in display sensors, these don't work either. If you ask me, for the money it isn't horible, but it could do with a SSD.Also, @37's laptop was too expensive for an U I5 because these are low voltage and should be cheaper, for that money I could probably buy an older gen K or HQ or something, probably even I7.The SSD is great though.Another thing I almost forgot about, my mom has the slightly upgraded version of OP's laptop, same Acer aspire thing, just an I5 but still U and 8 gigs of ram, the rest is the same looking through everything on it.I can say that the thing is slow no matter what you do, I've reinstalled windows on it and still the same, the CPU isn't going high or anything, the drive in it is just a piece of shit that not even my worst enemy should have in his PC.I will replace it in a few months though since it is relatively easy to open up and hopefully she will see a performance boost.The price was something between 300 or 400 quid 3 years or so ago new, it will do the job, just don't use it with the default drive.I've had a thinkpad t410 from 2009 till late 2017 because I didn't wanna switch from that awesome keyboard, first gen I5 and 4 gb ddr3 ram, it really did the job much better than you would expect on windows 10.
