Re: Problems with sapi5 Yeah... Deleting a voice from SAPI and then trying to activate that voice causes major major issues. NVDA and Windows really hate it.I'm not quite sure of a way to fix that issue, however I'm sure it's possible to do. Reformatting your computer will be a good thing to do, especially because all the extra software you installed will be removed, clearing your average ram usage and storage. I'd also recommend, in case you don't have a backup of your harddrive to get ninite to make an exe for you with all your commonly used apps. That's why there's AddOns though.No, in my experience there's not a huge learning curv for NVDA, but there's a few places it's different than JAWS.NVDA, you'll notice, reads the screen a bit differently than JAWS does... I haven't found out yet whether it's for the worst or for the better, but it really depends on what you prefer. No, I have JAWS and NVDA installed on the same computer. If they're both running at the same time it can cause problems but as long as there's only one running at the same time you should be OK.I'd disable JAWS just after clicking enter on the exe file, and just after it gives you the user account control dialogue. Bluetooth Audio Receiver Problems With iPhone12 Hello,So I recently downloaded and installed the bluetooth audio receiver app from the Microsoft store. As I understand it this app will let me play audio from my phone to my PC, like a bluetooth speaker.However, upon connecting to the phone through the PC's bluetooth settings and accepting the pair request using my phone, the phone stops speaking audio and goes quiet. I assume this means that the connection is active, however when going into sound mixer on my PC it doesn't show up, and the audio doesn't play through my PC either.Is anyone else having this issue? March has been pretty boring so far for me. Woke up and went to school... That's about it.February was quite boring as well. School, school, and more school. Behind in classes from when I was Quarantined in late January so I had to catch up.Did beta testing for GC, listened to music, did homework, talked to my friends... Stuff like that.The weather was kinda interesting over here. We had the coldest night in 70+ years over here and six inches of snow, which, is pretty rare. Here in Texas we haven't gotten any good snows since 2015.Worked on my beat stream quite a bit. It's found on my website. I've got a Trap beat stream that me and Jonathan are working together on, and a Lo-Fi beat stream as well, that one I do on my own.In short, I've been existing and doing whatever I feel like, and suffering through school at the same time. Luckily my last day is on May 26th, so after that I'll be going into a summer full of traveling. I know for sure I'm going to Mississippi for a mission trip as of now, and a few other places. My dad's actually going to the Olympics in Tokyo. So... That'll be interesting.

That's the most obvious one. BGT hasn't been updated in years.The music skips and crashes sometimes. You know how you can be playing a BGT game, and all the sudden it stops responding and looping the last second until you close the game? I also just roll the cane across in front of me instead of doing the tapping method.I'd think it rewquires more hand strength and would be more uncomfortable to lift it up off the ground at either side of the area I want the cane to go over, if that makes sense.Plus I've always just been taught the rolling method so that's just the way I default to.As post 2 said, you have to hold it kind of away from your body though so if it gets temporarily stuck in a crack in the sidewalk it doesn't come back and poke you in the stomach with the force of I don't even know what. Re: OBS problem Yes. As post number 2 said, if you unplugged your microphone while streaming, or before the stream started while OBS was opened you'll have to close the program and re-open it. If that doesn't work make sure you didn't make any filters that would limit the volume. Press on the properties button for the microphone you want and go up to filters.There's four buttons and clicking the second will bring up a confirmation to remove your filters... So earlier I got really bored and did this.potato.txt Extension: txt, Size: 1.3 GB, Attributes: ---A, Modified: 1/30/2021 8:02:43 PMI'm trying to figure out how to make bigger text files than that. The other day, Tunmi added this really neat new tool to his site that's for mixing your radio songs. I really would like to play the game again though, but if nobody's developing it what's the point? Also I didn't like it too much, at least Bloodstorm, in the state it was in when it was shut down. ROTU was fine, but Bloodstorm... Yikes. There'd have to be a lot of changes for that thing to be near as good as it used to be. Re: It's time to try something new While open-sourcing would have it's upsides, it'd also have plenty of downsides.1. Upside: Maybe, just maybe, someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to BGT will actually improve the project and create something really nice out of it. Maybe remove all the unneeded features from Bloodstorm and as far as ROTU goes fix the small things that weren't quite right with it.2. Downside: Most people who code either aren't really good at it or are just too lazy to mess with it and actually do something worth doing with it. So, we'd have all these people with the source and 99 percent of them wouldn't know what to do with it.3. Downside: For the people who actually know how to code in BGT, it could become a problem among them of who's Bloodstorm has what. For example, one person's version could have really nice weapons while the other would have a new really cool item. This would most likely start some kind of war between the two people and we certainly don't need that.4. Downside: This would just lead to a bunch of criticism for both Mohamed and Tunmi, as they both worked really hard on the project and there's lots of people who really like to pick at every little issue that exists. That's another thing we really don't need. This isn't really a number, but keep in mind that we don't want to end up with the same issues that Bloodstorm and ROTU had from a new developer. Really easy to get your hands on and really nice software, at least in my experience. Never recorded a class before but I've recorded other things and it's worked fine. It's also a way to get donations working through PayPal. It does a lot more than that but I'm not exactly sure what. It's got plenty of HDMI ports on the back, an ethernet port, and even optical to plug in a sound bar. Think it's got a 3.5 MM input and output as well. Re: It's time to try something new I don't know BGT, although I've heard Tunmi's code is messy. He admitted himself that it was. You wouldn't want to learn from messy code how to code, you'd just end up coding way messier and things wouldn't work out too well. Also, BGT was discontinued a long time ago and people should move away from it for that reason especially. Things aren't up to date in the language, and although BGT can create online games that doesn't mean it should continue to do so. We should move to Python, as it's a mainstream language used by all sorts of people, sighted or blind, and the documentation for BGT versus Python I'm sure isn't even in the same ballpark. Re: It's time to try something new Well, here's my opinion.Yes, while open-sourcing is a decent idea, there'd be lots of issues and probably would only lead to Tunmi getting more criticism from people who either think or actually know BGT better than him. Really wish I could play the SBP with the M16, MM9, old cannon, and the glider again though. I'd pay to play that thing again. If he wants to open source it that's fine with me, and I certainly hope someone would edit and make it into something like what we used to have. Or maybe take it in a completely different direction? Bloodstorm, SBP, they were both simple and fun, and the way BS ended was this sort of weird thing that took what it used to be and turned it to something different, yet left the shell of it there. I guess a good way of describing it would be making a peanut butter sandwich but then adding ketchup. If you like ketchup on your peanut butter sandwiches that's kind of weird, but I think you'll still get what I'm trying to say here.If he decides not to open-source it, that's fine with me as well.
