Re: a big problem with facebook no. it wont be resolved so easyly. i had connected my email and phone to my account too, and simply didnt received the codes, so i wasnt able to restore my account for many days, when that happened. i liked miranda for years too. but i had to remove it. they released an update, the miranda was listing itself in Facebook as "Firefox browser", but that didnt helped either. maybe it has to do with the keep alive processes in the Facebook plugins. so you stay always active. the Messenger goes idle, while iranda could prevent it. and that was maybe a "suspicious activity", who knows. all in all, i stopped using it, now using the Messenger.com via chrome. that worked best for me. Re: mp3 players i read the article. i dont want to spend so much on ipods, and use iTunes. really the problem with rockbox is, that it supports only old players, so it will be more and more hard to find new ones if something dies inside them.i am starting to consider to buy the olympus dm-770 (yes i know its a recorder). it has the mp3 player part, too. as it looks good, not like the devices specifically for blind. like the evo e10 and similar. i dont want flat things with lots of buttons. i saw the evo e10 this friday, and the looks are just strange. yes, you might say, but the functions are inportant. if i dont like how the particular device looks, i will have no motivation to use it. Re: mp3 players i think, the general problem about rockbox is, that many devices are simply old, not anymore produced (for example the olympus M:robe series), etc. yes. there is the rockbox vortex branch, which is for xduoo x3, x3 2nd generation or the fiio. but i didnt find any accessible instructions how to install it. there is no such utility, as for classic rb. i would buy the xduoo x3 second gen, if i knew how to install the rockbox, and how do i create for example slovak voicefiles for it. with the classic utility its easy, but with the vortex one... i dont know. audio recorder question hello!i am planning to buy an olympus ls-p4. as its a Quite expensive device (around 200 euros), i would like some opinions on it, if anybody uses it. is it accessible enough? is the voice guidance good? does it read for example the files that you put on the recorder, like your books, music etc, or your records that you made with it, etc? i want to buy it, mainly because i like the quality of its recording, the retractable usb connector - so no cables needed.thanks for answers, and have a nice one,M.
