Re: Lets talk about cooking. The only thing with using fresh vegetables is I'm afraid of rotting. I mostly use frozen vegetables but I do get fresh meats and freeze them. I have done browning hamburger wich that opens up a lot of doors. Also learning how to cook rice will open you up to very tasty meals as well. Wich come to think of it the only time I really eat frozen meals like tv dinners or other frozen things like chicken fries and such is for lunch when I'm needing something quick. I have also done fryed fish by hand but I don't think my flakes stuck very well. Also I might recommend a instapot. I've also replaced my old microwave with a smart oven so that does help me out a lot. Also I was making less than ssi only 696 a month. But if I did manage to get 38 hours it was 348 and 288 after taxes and then if it was only 20 hours I got 174 and I would get 151 after taxes. I frankly don't understand why you can't have more than 2000 in the bank its frankly shitty that is your only income what do they expect. I don't even spend my entire check every month. So I'm trying to describe a location in a story. based on the background of the story and I need your help.So in this Roll play I'm the head master at a school for the blind. I have gotten fed up with all the broken up couples and cheats. So I inact a new policy that any couples caught cheating or not being truly faithful to each other are sent to there own dorm. They are given no help from staff and are forced to relies on each other for support and daily activity's. Now this dorm is sectioned off from the rest of the school but what goes on inside is up to them. This is meant as a public form of shame. They where Id badges that tells other students that they are in this dorm. I know this doesn't sound like a bad punishment but I'm trying to make it sound bad so I need help describing the location. There is also no electronics aloud with in its walls and the only phone is a public phone in the dorm. All men are required to go and get there meals for them selves and there girls. Also girls that have medical conditions are required to be taken to the health center or medical center by there guy. Plus all class schedules are matched for each couple to make sure there always together and that everyone sees how they screwed up. advice So I need some advice for dating when it concerns dating people who are also blind. Now a lot of the girls I have met are very over prideful of them selves and when they say there open minded there really not. Case in point.I was talking to this girl from another blind group it was going well and we were talking about the pretty normal stuff like movies and food. This person seamed to be very nice at first. I was willing to meet in the middle with them on some things. Now when I brought up that I have conservative values this person completely flipped. They started talking of female empowerment and no one was going to tell this person what to do mostly because I asked about if there tattoos were mean or nasty. And then they started treating me very badly. What would you do at this point and how do you navigate this when most of the girls you may meet have this mindset? Re: questions about the blind community and a couple of other things After reading these post I will have to say that wile I was living in Arkansas that gave me the skills to live on my own and I went into it saying I need to figure out when the best time to do my laundry because my parents are not here. But I can still call them if I have questions and things like that. Now as far as the local bus system its a dollar one way and it only runs at certain times of the day. So that is why I order all my food or things I need from the store because its just too much of a hassle to go to the store. Now for some of you you may like going to the store and I do if I'm out with someone but generally I order my stuff. Now I will have to figure out transportation because I have a job interview on Wed. at 2:00. I go into it saying I will need to figure it out on my own and I have. I feed my self and with the help of my phone and Aria has helped me a lot in that jernny. Also we really don't have any sort of lift or uber network here. But going to the store wile taking a city bus with provisions in hand is rather challenging.
