Hello guys.Well, its nice that you are loving SL. Who said you couldn't swim or ride horses and stuff like that? the client isn't only for chatting, and there is no limitation on what you can or cannot do in seccond life. The only limitation we have as blind players, is that we can't create or build objects. However, there is no limitation on what do you like to do, its totally up to you. Learning to play  SL takes time and a little bit of pationce, but once you get to know all the basics and get use to the client, you're ready to go.I gotta say it here, I really apreciate a lot the help of my mentors, now I can say I'm a successfull seccond life player. Re: MessApple, Or, The Return Of Apple2E For the VIP!

Hello Folks.OK, looks like mister Jason's update to this thing was very nice, because I tried to re-download the thinggy and bang! its finally working. Now, to be fair honest I still had to use that lawncher made by mister Bryan, because definetly although I'm not a tech newbie, I still not able to figure out what the heck is the command prompt, or how to go to it. That isn't too much info for me.OK so its working, I loaded a disk, then suddenly I heard a beep, that told me it was gonna work! Now, the only problem I encountered is that, when echo speech started to talk, it like repeats some stuff. It gave me  some instructions on how to catalog files and stuff, but some tah times it repeepeats things that way, making it a little hard to understand. Any way to fix this? I didn't closed NVDA because, I don't believe it is that intrusive like JAWS, and I just put it to sleep. so maybe closing it is the solution? I dono.I was kinda lost

Re: coming soon, super blind driver. here is the trayler

Hello to all. Sorry if I didn't appeared for too long here, there are quite a few things I must explain.@SLJ: Man, I'm glad that you've enjoyed the teaser. now, the game isn't just that, it is not just as many simulators like the one made by Burak. By the way, hey dude what happened to your website/ dropbox links? most of them are broken links, for example the buss simulator link. So, What I'm planning to do is much more tnan a simple  simulator, though I think the concept demo will be something like that. Howver, I'm going to do a fully featured driving simulation game where you can not only start your engine, but drive wherever you want. To get that thing working I should learn a little bit more about maps.It isn't quite a razing game, and its more like GTA, but all the inmorality of GTA will not be present for obvious reasons. And well, I can't make a gameplay, because I don't have anything releaced yet. Ag
ain, if someone wants to take part on this project with voices and stuff like that, let me know. This isn't just a little idea that is posted but can't be done, this is something more serious. Though I wont be giving releace dates, but I'm at least working on it, with my little knoledge of BGT, very little knoledge as I said. I'm taking as examples, some BGT source codes that were releaced here, no to modify anything but only to learn stuff.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=150771#p150771

coming soon, super blind driver. here is the trayler

Hello folks. As I anounced here, I'll be releasing a game called super blind driver, a car simulation game with lots of features. The game was originally inspired by a little creation in BGt called driving experience, that the author abandoned for some reason. This game is also based on the original code, however I'm planning to include much more things, so this isn't gonna be a regular static simulator, I hope I can add more features to it. I'm trying to do this while I learn some BGT stuff, cuzz I'm not a super coder, but I'm trying my best.Right now, I'm working on the concept demo, so the game itself is not ready to be published, but we have releaced a trayler, to let you know what's coming up.Here's the link to get the oficial trayler:https://www.dropbox.com/s/f4hfts0ztxfnt … %20sbd.mp3I hope you guys enjoy it, and if you have questions or comments let me know. And, as I said in the other thread, I'm not gonna give an exact releace date, because I have a lot of other things to do, but I plan to publish the first concept demo soon.Greetings, AndresURL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=150277#p150277

Before having that menu that mister tMan shared, I tried a method to launch the machine, that is, trying to open the DSK files in the open with dialog, I selected Multi emulation system or something like that, Mess, but it didn't worked. Super discovery. the first version of Supershot is here!

Hello guys and girls.I'm one of these persons who like to view old stuff at the internet archive, this site has been very helpful for me in my research about old technologies, so I'm always able to visit the websites of Henter Joice, Arkenstone, etc etc. Now, I was looking some stuff in the audiogames.net forum in 2007, and found some interesting stuff. then I just visited  the L-works site to see some old stuff there. And, for my surprise, I was able to download the first version of supershot! You know, I heard about L-works just thanks to this game, and it was kinda sad when I re-visited L-works and I didn't found this game anymore, although when I played this game in 2008 I just had the demo. I was about to ask you guys for the latest version, and I found a post here with the download link, but unfortunately it was the demo and I wanted the full one. This version seems to be a free version or a concept demo, so you don't have to register it, although the sounds are completely different except the music. Here is the information from the Website, published in 2002:It's here. the full version of Super Shot! with cool music produced by a professional musician, and cool sound effects, it's sure to keep you busy! 3 difficulty levels of play will keep you on your seat. as you progress. the game gets faster, and more intense! Tune out for just a second, and you might lose! NOw complete with a talkign score so you can challenge your friends. hey, I can get a better score than you can! Requirements: A Pc running windows 9x, with 32 mb of ram, and a multi channel sound card. You will need direct x 8.0 or later, which can be found on the lWorks main page.OK that's enough blah blah blah, Andrew, give us the link please! Well here ya go, I guarantee that it'll work, if not let me know and I'll upload it somewhere.http://web.archive.org/web/200210092111 … pdate1.exeHave fun!URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=144850#p144850

Re: pb games not working with nvda

Well, actually one of the advantages of NVDA, is that you don't have to close it in order to play a game like you might have to do with JAWS or Window eyes. Since these games are written in _javascript_, NVDA will show just a line of text and will not allow you to make selections. SO, just put it on sleep mode, instead of closing it. Just hit control shift s, and that's it<1URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=142074#p142074
