Re: Help uninstalling realtech audio.

Hi.I've figured something out about the enhancements. They appear when I use the high deffonition audio device drivers but not when I use the realtech drivers.I can deal with the high deffinition audio device drivers but they're not as loud as I'd like. Are there any more drivers out there like realtech? they're nice and loud but make eliquence sound strange and muffled then back to normal and then back to muffled again. With realtech I get a spacial sound thing instead of the audio enhancements.I tried adding a Loudness Equalization boost with these drivers and it was louder, but made eloquence sound... Muddy? I don't know how else to put it but... Wrong somehow, I think clipped is a good description. The c on the word cancil for example sounds harsh.

Re: Help uninstalling realtech audio.

@10, there's two parts at Microsoft's hd audio driver. Speakers and headphones. Speakers is my notebook's speakers, and the headphones part is my headphones. However as I mentioned above, I am checking the playback tab, but my headphones seems as not plugged in. Cause of this I already can't make that default device. The driver does not detect it.As about Realtek's driver, I tried to use universal version of it, I got the correct version for my notebook's model from my notebook's firmware, both of them didn't worked. The sound lag still continues.I liked the high definition driver, but using headphones is very important for me. That's why I can't use it too. I even format my computer, however this realtek thingy didn't solved.

Re: Help uninstalling realtech audio.

@8.Not sure if your driver handles this differently, but in the one I was given, headphones are sepperated from your speakers when selecting an output device. Just make sure your headphones are set as your default output device, or if you are using VAC, that it is rooting through them.My computer originally used realtech, however thanks to a friend of mine Aaron Hewitt, I now have a much better driver. I never experienced any of the lagging issues you guys mentioned, however the realtech driver did have a number of other issues, sutch as being extremely slow to start and doing strange things with my volume.

Re: Help uninstalling realtech audio.

Hello,I have a question too, I want to ask here.I have experiencing problems with Realtek as well. There's sound delay, my computer's and screen reader's sound comes after one second when I press a key. That's so annoying, especialy while playing games or doing something quickly. So I wanted to switch to Microsoft's HD audio driver, for doing this I opened device manager, sound devices>realtek>search computer>high definition driver. After I return back to Microsoft's sound driver, the delay was fixed. Everything was working perfectly. However in Microsoft's audio driver, when I plug my headphones It does not detect it.My headphones was working while I was using Realtek's sound card, so there's no problem with my headphones. However at Microsoft's sound driver, I am checking device manager>sounds>playback tab, It seems as headphones, not plugged in.My notebook's speakers works without delay. I do not want to return Realtek but now I can't use headphones. This driver does not detect it.Anybody had any recommendations? what can I do to solve this problem?

Re: Help uninstalling realtech audio.

No no no. Not like that.Press windows xGo to device manager or how it's called.Open the sound treeview.Select realtek.Press context menu.Click on driver programme update or I have no idea how it's called on english windows. If you're all right, it'll bring up a window from which you can reach a lot of things. The thing you need is search for drivers on the computer or whatever the button is called. After you clicked on it, you need a buttom like choose from the drivers on the computerAfter you clicked on it, there should be a list of maybe 3 or 4 drivers, including high definition. Click on that. It'll ask you if you really wanna update, because it might not work, but click yes all the way, then wait. After the process is done, you should be all right with it.

Tab to the playback devices list and makesure speakers is selected, then type to and press the properties button. When properties opens, you should be on the general tab. You shouldn't need to uninstall it. Go to sounds in control panel, Go to playback, select your output device, then to properties. Go to the enhancements tab and turn off sound effects.
