OpenTween, to my knowledge, does not. 2) chicken nugget still appears to be the most feature rich, if anyone cares. I've only had a quick glance at it, but it had options that other clients didn't offer on a first look. 3) openTween is mainstream, I believe.4) yes, you can follow and unfollow with TW blue, that is, if the buffer works properly. but, openTween has something over TW in this regard. let's say I retweeted microsoft's tweet, and you guys follow me. with openTween, you can click on the tweet, click on the profile, and follow microsoft right from there. with TW, you actually have to get something from the person in question. so with the example above, if you open the profile on TW, you will land on my profile, not microsoft's. basically, with TW, unless you get mentioned, direct messaged, or whatever else, it's no way as easy to follow, as it is with openTween. and sometimes, when the TW buffer doesn't refresh, and you don't pay attention, and I did this myself, you can unfollow way too many people. with that said, I would seriously recommend to use both clients, they both have their strong and weak points. with the 2 combined, there should be no reason for chicken nugget at all. and if there is a way to follow with TW blue, , with the openTween method, please do let me know how. I opened the user actions, but hitting up and down arrow, only bought me the user who I follow. and Update dialog Your TWBlue version is up to date. what am I missing?tried with and without comments, but I can't seem to switch users. and yes, if I tab, I do see the follow and unfollow buttons. If it was just a retweet then you should definitely be able to do it, however if there are more tweets inside that is what I talked about when I mentioned issues with multiple quoted tweets. There are 2 recommendations I can give you: 1. Try with the latest TW blue snapshot, and if you still have the issue do fil it on Github if you have an account there. 2. Just check the username of the person manually and enter it in that box. I know it is not that intuitive, but that is just a workaround and not a permanent fix. What you do in your example, if I retweeted Microsoft's tweet, you would find that tweet of mine, open the user actions dialog and select the user with up and down arrows, in this case Microsoft, make sure that the follow or unfollow is checked depending on what you want to do and then press ok and it should always work, at least it did with me but make sure you are using the latest version. Lots of disadvantages people often mention come from the fact they run an out of date copy or have tried the program a long time ago, and this isn't just with TW blue and I have saw that happen many times. Re: Open tween vs chicken nuggits vs tw blue. first of all, chicken nugget is not worth paying, please save your money. it's slower than the other 2, clunky, on my end it even crashed, and, well...I personally like TW blue, but the inability to unfollow and properly follow people, combined with the buffer issues, can be a bit of a pain. with that said, it has really neet controls, as far as clicking links, controls, layout, etc. plus it's fast. however, for me, openTween all the way. first things first, it's portable, which means anyone can run it without admin rights. true, you can do that with TW blue as well, but I still wanted to point this out. currently, I haven't figured out how to click links in openTween, so I'm still going back to TW for that. TW, because of the buffer issues, also screwed up my friends. openTween doesn't seem to have any buffer issues at all. the only issue with openTween for me is the fact that it doesn't support long tweets, so if it's anything above 280 characters, it will simply not send. with that said, I love the way you can view profiles of people, and follow and unfollow them. both because of buffer and layout issues, that is currently not possible with TW. so if openTween sorted out long tweets, and if I found out how to click links from an tweet, I would perhaps consider removing TW completely. but as it stands, you kind of need 2 clients, at least I find that I do. I could not add more than one feed. I tried contacting Chris and got something to the effect of "I think something is broken" and "Developing for Mac is extremely hard" or something like that. When I asked if the issue could be resolved, I received no response. If he took the time to write and promote an app that can run on multiple platforms, why won't he respond to and resolve, customer issues? I am never supporting this person and his company ever again. I kind of want my $10 back, but I suppose it's not that important in the grand scheme of things.I recommend TWBlue. It works great for me! I haven't tried Tween. Isn't that one a mainstream client? To follow someone, either navigate to a tweet where they are mensioned, and hit alt win S, where you can select every name in the chain with the up and down arrows, and make sure follow is checked in the group of radio buttons, or hit that key combo and just type someone's name in and hit OK if follow is checked. Edit: So just downloaded TW Blue and nvm I already like it way better - it's way more intuitive with the keystrokes I wanted in CN already built in lol and it's free so yeeeah~ I love finding out new accessibility stuff from this forum, helps my life loads haha.I've been using the free trial of Chicken Nugget and enjoy it and don't think the price point it too steep - I paid around the same for Q Read and it's helped me read PDFs significantly so yee. That being said, I don't like that the "Like" button doesn't have a keystroke, and that your notifications are jumbled and not easy to get to. I haven't heard of the other twitter accessible platforms though, but I'll have to check them out and see if I like them better. But if you're aware that you'll be getting no support for CN, and just use it for what it is - a streamlined Twitter app you can do most of your tweeting and twitter using on, then I'd say it's worth the money because I stopped going on twitter because it was a pain to navigate the site and because of CN I've been on it a lot more.
