That depends on how many secrets you unlock . The simplest answer is "16, each with 1-3 parts". There are bonus levels and secret rooms and such, and I'd like to add a lot of post-game bonuses in the way that Bokurano Daibouken does, but I haven't had much success thinking of many.

@Caio: Sorta-kinda not really? I've addressed most of the specific bugs/features mentioned here, but the underlying problems of incomprehensibility are almost certainly still there, and I haven't the faintest idea how to fix that. And I desperately need an HR department. So, unless people want a patch consisting primarily of keyconfig giving key names, that combo in tutorial 3 being fixed, the cameras being separated so the player(s) remain(s) centered, and other little things, I'm not sure what else I can do.

The opening scene and the object viewer should give some hints. I'll put the solution under a spoiler warning.SPOiLERThe base will explode when power runs out, so you need to destroy everything that's using power. There should be elevator buttons on the left; hit them, and they'll take you to a different floor. If you just get a buzzer when you hit a button, that's because you're at the top or bottom. The elevator won't work while there are enemies present, and it takes several seconds for the elevator to reach the next floor. I think you start out with, like, 3 or 4 minutes, and every power-draining machine you destroy adds something like 30-60 seconds.Also, there are two exits, but one is only availible to two specific characters.

When you hear the low, rising tone around him, he's invincible, and sometimes attacks do negative damage. When he taunts, his defense resets. So avoid hitting him while he's invincible, and hammer him when he taunts.I'm considering reducing this effect more than I already have, because sometimes it's too easy to get stuck in a position where you can't damage him faster than he restores his defense. If you can poison him, that should prevent him from regaining health, but there aren't many attacks that do this. Also, just like the guards in the tutorial, pits ignore defense, so if you can get him to fall in the deep part of the lake, that might help.Blades and Spectro's stronger rays do a lot of block-damage. I think Spectro's microwaves (which are generally useless) might help. Suzuki and Mozuda have one or two attacks which sometimes poison, but I'd be careful relying on those. Oren's blasts (and the defobots', now that I think of it) are ray-based, meaning that Spectro's invisibility and darkness protect him against them until he either runs out of qi, or gets hit by a melee attack.

What usually gets me with them is if they're split up on opposite sides of a large pit, like the waterfall. In that case, I try to use projectiles, especially those that stun without momentum (Asaki's stars are great for this, but most characters have at least one that does it). The thing to worry about is that they usually aim at you when reproducing, so if you're surrounded, they will spawn on both sides. Their AI is very simple, in that they don't know how to retreat or try anything clever, so you can use that to your advantage, when you aren't trapped in a swarm.I just checked to be sure, but I think all those rocks in episode 10 can cause the ones across the waterfall to fall in, if they're close to the edge. I usually avoid those just because I have some other weapon I want to hold onto. Also, episode 10 might just have a secret way to escape the first wave without destroying them.

If this is the first beacon, it's just like the small pit in the tutorial 2. If you fall in, you should reappear 2 or 3 steps or so from the edge.If you press F6, you can use the sonifier, which might be helpful. If it's more confusing than helpful, press f6 again until it stops.

@73: When that happens, go back to the left and clear all enemies. This reminds me of something I never mentioned anywhere... which is to say, if you hear the beacon for the next area pinging more slowly than usual, that means that the way to continue is not on the ground. Why I never thought to mention this in the tutorials before now, I do not know.

I'm having some pretty serious issues even downloading the game. I click on the link and go to download, naturally. It then just stalls at 0% in the chrome downloads for... well, ever so far. I've even moved the download location to an external drive to try and simplify the process, but no luck so far.

Yo all. I'vve been playing a lot of things and recently found this topic and gave it a shot. It's great. I literally can't find any words and the funny thing is it's only a beta. I've unlocked everything up to episode 4. I mean everything including the delay parts, railroad ending thing, etc etc. But as I said I only beat up to ep 4.Can someone give me an idea what to do in episode four? I kill the ninjas that appear then this fire starts to appear and then it expands creating all types  of platforms. I'm stuck. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi.@musical professorOpen windows defender,  tab to settings and press enter.Tab to virus and threat protection settings and press enter.Tab to add or remove exclusions and press enter.Tab to add an exclusion and press enter.Press your down arrow until you hear folder.Choose the folder you want to save by going through the treview and finding the folder you want. for example,; if I want to find my downloads folder, I find downloads in the treview, press enter on it then tab to the folder. Once I am in the folder, I find the folder i want to add, then press enter on the select folder button.To remove a folder, find it in the program, tabbing a couple of times should land you on a list with your folders inside, once you have found it, press tab one more time and then enter on the remove button.

When I said klunki, I meant that there are times when the enemi just starts to hit you and theres not much you can do to escape. This has happenedto me a few times. It gets to a point where you can't do much but stand there and take the hits. Autough I do believe better sounds would help me withmost of the problems. All in all, the game is really good, so much so I've been playing it for the last 3 days.

I find it interesting that you say it seems clunky. When I think clunky, I think of DBZ: Sagas, or DB Final Bout. One of the most difficult issues in development was reducing lag; I don't know if you're running into that, or if you mean it differently from what I'm thinking.This fighting system can't do dial-a-combo. Timing is more or less the entire point. If the game's speed is unstable enough that it interferes with this aspect, that is a problem I very much want to solve.I'm hoping that the problem you're having with knowing when you've been hit can be corrected with better and more complete voices. If that is a major part of the problem, we'd expect it to be more noticeable with Zu, Asaki, and Mozuda, from best to worst (Mozuda doesn't have any hitcries at all  ).

Hello there! I'd like to give some feedback..I've been a player of fighting games for more then 10 years now... This game is too.. Slow and clunky, if you get my meaning. Sometimes, its difficultto know if your character is getting hit, objects are difficult to find (as in I have to use the y menu). I'm not trying to just criticize: The game'sgeneral idea is cool and it really has lots of potential. For combos.. Would it be pocible to make them slower: I sometimes type too fast and thesystem doesn't registers it, which can get anoying at times, thats why I don't try to do combos, even tough I've completed the tutorial and amalready on episode 5. Sometimes, I win an episode by pure luck not because I know what I'm doing.

Not sure if this has been suggested already, but have you considered adding like a practice mode where you just pick a character and can test combos out on some kind of dummy creature? Maybe when you properly execute a combo you get a notification about the name of it, some useful features like that? Also I'm not sure if it's just me, but there seem to be some really strange issues with the panning; a lot of times I move around and the sound stays near the middle, and suddenly it jumps all the way to the left or right, and I find it difficult to tell exactly where I am in relation to my enemy without using the object finder (which I can't in battle mode). This latter fact is sort of exacerbated by the range of most moves -- for many of the battle tutorial combos I literally could not pull any of the combos unless I was directly in front of the target, something I could not do without bumping into him or using object finder. Bumping into stuff is fine if not all that realistic, except it's such a quiet sound that you'd likely miss it while getting your ass kicked, and in that time the enemy may have gotten behind you, so you're no longer even facing the right way. I have trouble breaking out of grapples or, hell, even knowing when I get grappled, for similar reasons. I don't mean to sound like a jerk or anything, just trying to give honest feedback on a beta stage game, and hoping there's something useful in here.

I think the issue with the camera isn't that it's screen centric as opposed to player centric. Side Scrollers like Knights of valour, Odin Sphere etc all do it like that and it works fine. I think the problem is in the audio relaying of the information... and partially the sounds being used. I've been messing around with the game on and off, and it seems to me that sounds decrease in volume as well as panning when you get further away, which does take some getting used to. It would be better to have objects simply pan as you move closer and further away and gradually widen or narrow the stereo image according to distance. That is the only issue with the camera I have so far... and I would personally call this more of a beat em up than a fighting game. lol

Hi,Brad's a fighting game player, as am I, but I am finding that things just don't seem to be working properly. I can never seem to leap across that river in one jump on tutorial 2, the running one. Is there a way to find out what terrain you are on, or how wide, say, a river is? There is no explanation in tutorial 3 that tells you that grass makes you slide. Don't get me wrong though, I'm going to keep at it, and this is what betas are for. I might sound like I'm being harsh, but I do understand this is a beta which is why I'm giving quite brutal feedback, I am not going to give up though and delete the game though, because this is, after all, a beta, and the more people we have on board testing, the better. I also think making sure the combos and stuff are written correct, will help too.

And considering that i'm playing mkx, injustice, and a lot of other fighting games with one hand, including this one as well. I won't say this is not hard, because it is. Yea I really like the concept, like most of Caes concepts, but in terms of pulling off it's not really smooth. I think this is a partial thing with bad sounds that don't really represent fairly and part overwhelming content.

Ah, yeah, I think l is the problem. Try comma, fullstop, or (forward) slash. For scenes like this, the information keys (like how l is the default for p1's object viewer) function like A in Bokurano Daibouken, clearing all the text.

Hello.@CAE_JonesI'll walk you through what I do.Keep in mind, I've not configured any keys and have the setup that the game comes with.I set the voice to screen reader.Go to load game.Then into tutorial one, for example.I select the character.here is what I here. keep in mind, pressing the up arrow or down arrow to read the line again isn't working. Perhaps I'm using the wrong keys?You wanted to go practice guitar with your friends, but you're stuck here at this psychiatric hospital's loading dock, waiting for your mother to clear the supplies she just dropped off with the hospital's staff.I then press l, as that seems to go to the next message.I hear all the crates and that's it.No message about having to kick them.Am I doing something wrong?I'll try configuring the keys and see if that helps.

Another thing I wanted to note. I'm not sure it's a bug or not, but, sometimes when you walk or do something, your character's audio including foot steps, and what eve you may be doing at the time such as jumping, or punching or kicking, moves off in the direction your were walking in, so, if you were walking left, after a bit of things sounds normal as in the player sounds being in the center of the stereo field, it starts moving to the left, and the same for walking right. Again, I'm not sure it's a bug, or the design of the game.

No, clipboard and status bar seem to be how the game outputs.I managed to get to episode 1, but I am still confused. The trouble is I am not entirely sure who all of these characters are, it just thrusts you into the story it seems.

I've only tried the game for a few minutes, but it seems to output strings into clipboard when I set the voice option to screen reader, even though NVDA is running. Is it made so or do you think the Japanese screen reader I'm running with NVDA is doing something nasty?

Wouldn't it be more simple to just write a tutorial indicating the normal keyboard keys? I mean the commands for a keyboard user are difficult tofigure out.

I must say, Ukio knows how to really make a comprehensive tutorial. This one, not so much.I think the only way to complete this tutorial is if you've played any of Cae's previous games. I've got the object viewer and I can see where I am, but I can hear crates on my right, character footsteps on my left. Shit, I've played mainstream fighters before that wasn't this complecated audio wise.

Hi,OK, if you've written down the combo wrong then that'll explain it, haha, so maybe buffering won't be needed. Well I've tried b, b, forward plus up plus b, and I've tried b, b, right right b, so maybe that's not right. I did manage a triple kick though, haha!

There are no ramps in the combat tutorial. The only ramp in the tutorials is in the grappling tutorial (you'll know it when you find it). If you hear yourself slide, but not fall, you're most likely just sliding to a stop. If you are hearing yourself sliding and falling, that's very strange and I'd very much like to know how to reproduce it I conclude I wrote that combo wrong somewhere. Possibly several somewheres. Maybe B, B, B, forward+B? I will be looking into this one for sure.Buffering would require a radical change in how input is handled. Also, there are some situations where it's simply not possible to rely on (B, B is different from B-B, as anyone who plays the prologue will soon discover).Back-dashing might be poorly explained in the tutorial. This is exactly the sort of thing for which feedback is good, since I already knew how it worked when I wrote it, so might unwittingly fill in information in my head without realizing I left it out! Communication seems to be the biggest weakness in my projects, so I definitely want to hear where this needs improvement.

I am certainly glad that this is a public beta, I think there's a lot that needs polishing, and not just sound wise. Perhaps I'm spoiled, because I'm coming off the back of playing BK3 for the past few days, but even so, here goes:Firstly, I like the concept of this game, a lot. But why, in the third tutorial, does it sometimes sound like I'm sliding near the edges of the stage? I don't think ramps should be taken into consideration at this stage in the game, this is supposed to be a basic tutorial, no wonder I'm struggling to hit my opponent. This is a combat tutorial, not a gymnast. It also seems like some of the stuff has way too strict timing for keyboard users, but more on that in a moment.I think that in the dashing section, it should make clear that you can perform the command while turning. Because at the moment, to do a back dash, I'm turning to literally face backwards, and it wasn't until you gave the tip of just tapping back twice while an attack is going on ,, that it worked... until, that is, I jsut literally had another go before writing this post, and it took me far longer to do than I think it should. Seems really inconsistant.Now, onto the part that is, at the moment, making me literally give up. I haven't tried a joystick yet, but I can't seem to do racing the dragon. I've tried b, b, up plus forward plus b, I've tried b, b, right right plus b, and I either don't jump, or just walk, and I'm trying to even do this just after I hit with the second punch, but every single time, I've dropped the combo. I have been at it for around 20 minutes now. For a first introduction to combat, this is more like one of Marvel vs Capcom Infinite's harder trials. A basic, three-hit, combo should not take 20 minutes to master. My only suggestion, in that case, is to perhaps let the inputs buffer. Yes, that'll be complex to code, but you do seem to be aiming for complex stuff, and it's honestly the only way I can see this working at the moment. I've literally tried everything in my power., and it does not help that the tutorial says b, b, up plus forward b, while the move list says b, b, right right b. This game does seem to have a lot going for it, and I do like the concept, but getting stuck on a basic tutorial, or seemingly ending up randomly getting through it as I managed to do with the acrobat tutorial by flipping, just doesn't seem right. In BK3, I'd argue the challenged ramped up around stage 5, so you felt like you had progressed a bit. But this, well I don't know what to say. I don't like acting negatively towards something, but I am not happy about being stuck on a seemingly basic area for around 20 minutes.

@CAE: I can sort of see where you are coming from, because it would have to check the active profile and say what ke it's set to, but I think it should be doable.I am also having the trouble with the third tutorial. So, do you backstep while turning? That's the confusing part. I also really struggled with the acrobatics tutorial and grabbing the bars, I somehow managed it. Also leaping to the other side of the secon river. I tap right arrow tice to start running, interestingly, walking and running speed seems to sound the same for this particular character.

You're not supposed to run left; you're supposed to backstep when he attacks. It isn't left or right, so much as it is the opposite of whatever direction you're facing. (I'd've made turning faster, but you'll be wanting this mechanic in bossfights.)

hi, how do you pass the third tutorial? I duck the chinese dude's attack, works fine. I jump his next attack, also works fine. Then I'm supposed to run left, which I do, but it doesn't seam to realise that I did it and just stays on that part of the tutorial. So I eventually reach the stage's end, so have to go back right. I tried going all the way to the right end of the stage then left again, but it didn't work.
