Hi Slj.Well I think the menus in re 5 and 6 are accessible because I listened to the recordings of them and since their older I dont think it would be a problem. I think it was mr.brunette who made these recordings maybe you should pm him he could probably tell you a lot about these games. The Resident Evil games: Which one are playable? Hi all.So, Im very interested in the Resident evil games. I have RE6 for ps3. Its very long time sinse Ive played it due to lots of other things going on in my life. But Ill come back to this awesome game later on.Does some of you remember the menus in RE6? How to switch between the campaigns and do you have other useful tips regarding to the menus? Im having trouble on navigating those. I should make a menu guide just like I have done for Injustice.What about RE5? is this just as playable as RE6? Are there other playable RE games? If you dont have any experiences with the other games, then I think Ill give some of those games a try to see if they are playable. Re: The Resident Evil games: Which one are playable? The only thing that makes RE 6 playable is the pda that points you in the right directions. RE 5 and 6, which are as far as I know the only two games playable in the series, arent really survival horror games... but theyve gone down the road of more traditional action games. The classic resident evil games probably are not playable in so far as what Ive experienced. There are a lot of puzzles that require you to find an item, come back and place it in a certain spot, or require you to pres a certain set of switches in a certain order. And none of those games have any sort of object marker or guide that shows you where to go next, since the whole point is for you to get lost and have to try and figure your way out. But if you have any more luck than I did, let me know... Im very curious. Thanks for your answer.I cant rent, borrow games here in denmark like in the US, but Ive found a site where i can get used games for a very cheep price. So I think Ill use this site to get my games in the future. Its s awesome. I have spent so many money on games which arent playable.Ill continue my research and let you know if I figure out anything.I still need a lot of help with the menus in RE6. Ive never played them so cant help you with menus and things. I have some old re recordings that somebody did on this forum if you want them let me know and Ill put them on dropbox.Hth. Hi Guitarman.Thanks for your answer.Resident Evil: The darkside chronicles might be playable, and I bought it from the playstation network because I also heard the recording you mentioned.To my big and very bad surprise and frustration, I noticed that the menus in this game arent accessible, unless someone has figured anything out. This kind of menu makes me fear for the accessibility in the future, and if those menus becomes standard, this is the closing chapter in playable console games, forever!In those menus, the controler reacts like a mouse, and you have to use the thumb stick like using a mouse. You cant just press up, down, left or right and have a cursor which automatically jumps to the next menu item. If there is any way to use the menu, I think this game would be playable. There is an other Resident evil game in the same style, I dont remember what its called. But I will not waist my money on this game, just to find the sa me crap of inaccessible menus.I asked here on the forum regarding to the menus, but no one answered. If someone knows anything, then I would love to hear from you.
