First question. There should only be a need to press the back button, thats the way it is on ps3.2. Story cutscenes in ultra are the same as super SF 4... yes, if you want to get the gist of what little story there is, then you need to watch the original story.3. All characters start on their ultra SFIV versions, and the only one to the right is omega edition. It wraps back to the original SFIV edition then from there in order of the games, assuming the character was in all 4 editions.

I took a quick look at the page, and it seems as though this is a sighted game, not an audio game. I dont believe this game will be any more accessible than any other mainstream game, unless I missed something claiming that accessibility is in the design.

Regarding jaws OCRUp and down arrowing after a scan is only for screen review, pressing enter on an option doesnt actually move to or select anything, I am using a USB game controller to do that.Thanks

Having many antivirus scanners is fine.Having a layered protection system doesnt work conflicts with many things running at once can make things interesting.Now there is probably a way to handle this without issues but I have maintained several family systems loaded with layers of antispyware, antivirus and other things.Lets just say, that all this stuff slowed things down a lot.Not to mention all the other issues associated with all of it.I had to remove all the antivirus and security, and then because I couldnt reformat and reinstall those systems.Now I have heard of clam win there is supposed to be a module called centinal which is supposed to do the protection thing.I havnt had time of late to try other scanners though its a combination of my laziness, the fact I get easily distracted and life in general and more towards the second of the 3 things.It does not help that I can get distracted quite easily eve
 n in real life outside the online community.I sometimes can stare at the wall for hours on end and wander why time has past.Msse was good now its not so good anymore.The viper sounds good, if you can afford the cash for full time protection for each system you do then its fine.However with subscription based security you can only manage 1 or 2 packages which is why I havnt moved just yet.I have also had my bad experiences with security programs both free and commercial everything from bad programs to misconfigured programs to false positives and such avg did this a lot especially when I converted text files from Linux to windows.And as a result my confidence with all security programs bar msse which has not much protection but does not bug me every 5 minutes is the deal.Some day I will actually do something about it but I never seem to have enough time to do things even when I do if that makes sence which it probably doesnt.

Tyler, see this is the thing. What I was trying to tell you wasnt supposed to be offensive. Sure your creative. Dood, thats great. Its more the social interaction your having issues with. Like when you wanted those features in 2dp, you called mason like 50 times to try to force his attention. Then when he said no you kept and kept asking. I think one of the things you should start at working on is if people say no, you need to learn that you just have to accept it. You cant always have you way. Nore can I, nore can anyone on this earth. But when you dont get it, then you start going crazy, and that right there is what caused your bad reputation. Im posting this to help not harm. If someone asked me for a sound library and I said not right now, theyd usually say something like ok, was just asking, whare as you would probably start trying to work out some instant trade. Guys, you nailed it. Exactly, tyler. I could show many things. Recordings youve made that have nothing but voices and sounds effects you had no permission to use, chat logs whare you called admins on games complete idiots, and I still have that chat log whare you pestered mason about adding features to 2dp. And I was in a call with mason while that was going on and he sure wasnt happy. Itg aonna take a while for you to get back in here. I created my techmaster20 account for several reasons. The first is that I forgot the password to this one, and didnt think to change it. The second reason is that I had a new twitter username so, I decided to go by that name here. I understand. You dont want me on this forum. Well like I said its up to you to find a way to make it all work. For me I do all things serverside because if you do most of it client side someone can hack your game easier and its not cool. So stick with the classes on the server sending packets to the client telling it to play sounds.

Yeah, but do you really think 2 months ban isnt a bit harsh? I could deal with a week, hell a month, but the reason I was using alts and evading bans is because I felt left out. I bet this is going to get this account banned too, but at least the primary account is getting back online next tuesday. I thank you, steve and sam, for at least showing that you dont hate me, like I always thought you did. I know that there is one person who does hate me, that is Daniel Gillilov or how ever you spell his last name. He made it clear when he hazed me before banning me. That seems to be a little show he does, when banning someone. He will put their character in jail or somewhere where you cant do much of anything, then start acting crazy, and say stuff like, 5, 4, 3, 2,1, boom! That is what he does when he bans me. I honestly dont like him. Even though I said all those bad things about Danny, I am still loyal. I forgive him for all the cussing he gave me, and Ethin.

Completely agree, severe storm steve. @tyler, thats really all you got to work on, is learning when not to push for things, and learning when its a lost battle. Their are plenty of things that id so want, but unfortunitly, cant have, the key here is to learn to accept things for what they are, as aposed to trying to force them to change, it goes with the hole rushing things through quickly problem. If youd at least work on that? Then I think that the community would be more willing to accept you and accept your ideas. And ill give you credit. Some of your ideas, have been quite good, the problem, again, is you giving them, followed by another a day layter. Payshants will be the key here. Who knows. With a little bit of payshants, you might see your idea implemented in some fassion. It may not be the exact idea you wanted, but ay, not everything goes according to plan, and unfortunitly, we liv in a world where its not always perfect. This was the exact
  reason why you ran into trouble on dmnb. I dont know about whats gone on on stw since I resigned from adminship with in the first few weaks of launch, so ill leave that alone. As ironcross said, this is also the exact reason why you got into trouble a few days ago on dmnb in the firstplace, because you made not one, but 2 alts to, in your own words, show me that youve changed. Saddly, thats not really what youve shown me. This is not intended as a slandering post. I do believe that at some point, if you can learn when its a lost battle and not to continue further, and if you could simpply respect the fact that the players on dmnb dont want you around them, I could see this community opening up more, and you being included with that. Of course, not everyone will open up to you and welcome you back in with open arms, but sometimes, as I had to learn the hard way, their are just thoughs times where theirs people whom are not ready 
 to accept you back quickly and whom are not ready to be friends, the key is to move along, and hope that one day, they might accept you back. But acting like everyone hates you, and that your a failure is not going to get you back into the community. Sometimes, we all do bad things were not proud of, and lose a bit of reputation or lose a friend or 2 over, but were only human.

I read the news about this last night, its a game developed by a company who made the famous bio shock games.the game will be launched at 2016 for PC and consoles if it reaches its budgets.hope that this project will be funded, and also hope that the devs will make the game accessible for us.the storyline is quite awesome, it reminds me of a game the nightjar or papa sangre.in the news it says the main characters will use echo location to see everything, including objects, enemies and such.is it like papa sangre or nightjar where you have to see with your ears?

Hi Sam, I have a request. Could you allow us the be able to walk in the desert, swamp and climb the mountain? It would be fun to do those things. Like in the desert, we could find kactie and other desert things, and in the swamp, maybe there could be gators and things, and on the mountin, there might be ice at the top, and you would have to be careful, you could slip or, if you walk to close to the edge, you might fall off the side of the mountain and, well, die.

It is a pretty accessible game. menus and everything is read out loud to you. Its really up to you.Even in training mode, when you are doing attacks. Your screen reader reads out the combo hits, and the power/output of the combos damage.Example. I do 2 low punches.NVDA will speak, 2 hits, 100 damage, 5%I do, 2 low hits, followed by a medium punch and a high punch.NVDA would say something like, 4 hits, 260 damage, 9%Thats not exactly the damage output in the game, it was just examples i threw together quickly.

Im surprised you guys are recommending Avira free. That program, while good, has a persistent buy the pro version advertisement thats always active. JAWS and NVDA wont read it normally, since its some kind of nonstandward bubble, but doing an OCR of your screen shows that its laid over everything. If you ever have to screen share with people, its right there, trouncing whatever you want to screen share. If you, like me, want to OCR things like Steam, you cant.Im sure the pro version is great, but the free version, based on this intrusiveness alone, isnt worth it in my book.Kai

However, I cant even create a character because all it says when I connect is to enter my character name. I tried the obvious. New, create, and just simply the letter N. None worked. This is a really critical thing to be able to get new players. Why this was over-looked, I will never understand...

For those who are wanting FM radio, and have a compatible phone for it, best to have a look at Next Radio , as most newer phones these days may have the FM chip disabled intentionally so you are forced! to stream your music.As for other accessible radios out there, one that has not been mentioned, is the Iris Web Radio , which I see has grown there stations quite a bit now.

For voice dream reader, you can look here and here for more info. HTH. I will give those sites a quick look at least. I had short wave sets before, and I got tired of crappy reception. So when I picked up this set, I was looking for an antenna connection. I know that isn’t the end all, but it helps. I was also looks for SSB reception on the HF bands. Speaking of old receivers, I read a book on the history of the portable receivers. I don’t remember the exact name, but I think it was called “the portable radio in American life”. Trust me, from some of the descriptions, there was pretty nice sounding radios towards the end of the book. LOL. Reading about them made me want one or two of them to collect. LOL.

I have the free AVG although it does tend to flag false positives from time to time. @Aprone, Avast is horribly inaccessible, at least with NVDA and it reads all the words as though there are no spaces between them. ClamWin, which I have never used, but, would probably be really good due to the fact that I have used ClamAV under linux. Hmm, its just looking around. I would steer clear of McAfee because it slows your internet to a crawl, Ive had good luck with Norton before and ESET NOD32 is a good one. As far as antispyware Malware Bytes is excellent.

Heh, OK getting back into this Ive made a few little things, little amusements with it, I want to read that manual and get more in depth, including inputting phonemes and stuff. There is a lot of stuff that can be done with elocuter even changing voices only in there you use the ` as your tag instead of that odd character, its ` right beside the 1 key. I will link a little archive when i get more done, I did do a little race car sounding thing, hehe.

I agree dark.I played the blind swordsman and yes while it did engage me for a few days it was not the be all and end all of gaming.It was fun but thats it.Its really a shame that the sighted have to see this crap for what it is.\The consept is left right centre.Ofcause if you are sighted what we would see as mundain is probably the next best thing to sliced sossage which is really sad.And not to mention that your iphone or android devices have extra microphones sensors for various things, etc more than any computer at stock ever has.So you can do virtual reality 3d games out of the box all day long.But if they just port a straight pc to the android um I wont be buying it and I will be telling all my sighted friends not to waste their time to.If thats all they want they can play the flash game online.

That one is really loud and when youre using it you cannot tell what zombies youre hitting. Hi all.I havent followed this for very long time... Long time ago, I promised a Greenday pack. This pack have given me so much trouble so I was about to give up, but Ive decided to upload it anyway, hoping that youll enjoy it as it is. I have tried to adjust the volume of the songs, but that could be improved for sure. Ive run into a very annoying issue with the pack, which is the reason for I nearly gave up. I cant figure out why, but sometimes the rhythm is not in sync. It fails big time, and I have done my best to fix that by editing the bpm file. But I cant fix it no matter what i do. I have spend a lot of work making this pack and trying to fix this issue, so Im uploading it, hoping that youll enjoy a pack which is my biggest failure, but also a very nice song collection . As Im writing this, I dont wan
 na spend more time on the pack, but I might give it a try again later on. If someone have any clue on why the heck it is failing, I would love to hear about it. If someone can help me to fix this, it would be really awesome.So, why is it called Greenday The story collection? Im a big fan of Greenday, so I have all their music. I have made the pack so it follows their story, like it starts with some of their oldest songs, and ends with some of their newest songs. I havent included the newest three albums because I simply dont like them. But I have selected songs from the most pobular albums instead.I would originally have called the pack Greenday, but someone have made a Greenday pack as well, I have to choose a different name. My Greenday pack have 21 songs in it. I was forced to skip some songs because of the sync issue which was a shame, but well...I hope you at leased will enjoy this pack. The idea, is fantastic!The biggest problem they have though, is most folks who are blind, are Windows users.Unless I didnt see something, (that includes the comments section,) this game is for GNU/Linux and Mac platforms at launch time.Im sure many sighted users will back the project, but will the blind?(Over 15 have already backed it, as ya cant comment till ya donate.)Plus many questions havent been answered purposely, such as:Will the Menus speak?Ill spread the word, hopefully it reaches its goal.

Hay slj, the problem youre most likely running into is commin with studio bands. You see, even though a song sounds like its done in 4-4 time, the fact is that most bands that record everything including drumbs as real instraments is that humans arent always going to follow a strict mathematical timeing. It may sound like 4-4 time to the human ear, but the tempo can vary by a few milliseconds at a time, and that really messes with the beets in beetstar.We dont realise a problem exists because our minds tend to correct vary small mistakes in the rhythm of a song.Also, if a song is vary fast or slow, it becomes harder to find an exact timing in milliseconds for that song.a commin situation is that fast songs tend to fall behind, and slow songs have the actions get way ahead of the music.The only thing I can say is that you have to use a sound program to cut as close to a down-beet as possible, then try and find the closest matching tim

it might be better to explain what an absolute value is. an absolute value is the value, that x is away from 0. for example; the absolute value of 4 is 4. because 4 is 4 away from 0. likewise, the absolute value of negative 4 is also 4. why? because negative 4 is also 4 away from 0. its not expressed negative because it doesnt matter if the number is negative or positive. you are just worried about how far x is away from 0. hope this helps.the ways you might need an absolute value varies depending on the language and the type of thing you are trying to code. but refer to post 2 for an example of how to implement it in code.

Mmmm, crashmaster, did you listen to the youtube trailer? or indeed read my above comment. This Blind swordsman is a totally different game from the Evildog one (the one in flash that has the db page), and is, I believe simpler than that. The Evildog game actually impressed me sinse while it was turn and hit, the parry ad attack system required some quite detailed timing and learning and got very tough with the reflexes, especially on some of the nastier enemies like the knight. Its still an action game, but not just a reaction game, and the rather nice story and voice acting was a bonus too, albeit what shines in the Evildog Blind swordsman is the way ssimple mechanics can be so tough.

Hello to all. I want to get back into broadcasting again. I would need to broadcast the audio mix over a shoutcast/icecast server. Id like to broadcast my microphone and then play some music as well but not broadcast my screen reader over the radio. I dont want to record the output. I want to stream it live in real time. Im not sure if i need spl though. That seems overkill for my needs and I really dont have the money to do that right now anyway. It will be a more of a hobby thing.

Thanks for the great menu descriptions here. Just picked up ultra SF4 on steam for PC. Have a couple quick questions.First, I cant seem to save my music volume settings in options. I set it, press the back button to get back to the main menu and play for a while. When I quit and restart the game later on, music is back to normal. Is there a different way the options menu must be exited such as a save button?Second, are all of the character story cutsceens for the entire SF4 series available in this version? From doing research on various wiki pages, in order to get the whole story if you can even call it that, you must watch the original SF4 cutsceens first followed by super SF4. I have the original game on a disk which I can install.Finally, has anyone figured out the edition select area of the character screen? For example, what option is each character on by default and what options are to the right until you wra
 p back to the first one?A couple tips to add:Once you set a training option such as the super combo gage to infinit, they stay that way until you exit training entirely back to the main menu. At least thats what seems to be happening, anyone please correct me if Im wrong.Also, the OCR option of jaws does actually pick up some of the menus. If you pause the game, go down twice and hit ok on the training options, press jaws key + space, O for OCR than W for window, when the OCR finishes you can up and down arrow through the options. If you change something and OCR again, it will read the change. Of course its not perfect but you can find out what options youve changed most of the time. Unfortunately it reads some of the edition select screen but not enough to tell what is selected.I apologize for the long post.Thanks.

The win7 file just adds the ability to input the urls manually, but I honestly prefer the urls.txt methd, so Ill probably get rid of the input one.

Okay, following my resolution to play more of the choiceofgames and hosted games titles, I have just finished the Shadow Horror from choiceofgames, or rather I have just finished one way through. I can say I was really quite pleased with how this one worked out. Initially, my impression of the game was that it was an if game in choice script. It even has the classic abandoned house populated by mysterious ancient evil plotline, lots of various items which may or may not be useful in different ways, objects to play with and not to mention a reducing light puzzle element and a couple of fairly standard if like puzzles (I confess I cheated with the magnetic lock door one or just used the Try all combinations Inse I just couldnt make sense of the numbers I got or how they related to the door bolts. However, what I was pleased about with this one is I still made it through the game and got an ending, not a final death ending, and not the best ending perh
 aps, sinse I know I missed some items in the game, but I did get one. Its oddsinse when in something like Mecha ace I completely ballsed up the game and couldnt finish the final battle I just felt frustrated, with choice of the dragon I was somewhat annoyed that however stupidly I decided it didnt seem to make any difference at all. Shadow horror I thought would go along with the If convention of game over or would be like Zombie exodus requiring you to replay from the last finished chapter, but though it did give the option you could still it seemed get through the final confrontation and win somehow.Also, shadow horror has some very cool game plus stuff, aka stuff for finishing the game from an authors commentary to various cheats including some that would make the game a cake walk. I will also say where initially I wasnt so impressed with the style here, sinse it seemed very lacking in anything like atmosphere, it rea
 lly picked up especially towards the end of the game in shear weerdness. The titula monster was fantastic, and there was a real sense of urgency, plus the final confrontation with the creature was great and very appocalyptic for a game that began so slowly. Definitely lots of fun and while I have a hole bunch of other choice script games to play I will certainly be coming back to this one in the future, sinse for a setup that by rights shouldve really just been a win or lose type of scenario it was surprisingly detailed. id recommend it, but then again I think the author of shadow horror has done some of the more noteable games in the past.

Hi,Alternatively, you could do file_exists in the updater code. That way, if multiple instances are launched, and you only download what has changed, the updater can use file_exists to see if the new files exist already. If the newer instances detect that the file_exists function returns true, then the updater should inform the user.

Shadow horror was good, (see the other topic). I did think ds huntress came with other volumes as their various series do and the free version was just the first one, but I could be wrong. Either way, I do hope the premium pack gets the updates. I always thought the adds in free games on Ios were automatic with the ap sinse you get them in aeroplane mode too, though I could be wrong on that one.

@Ronal witch kind of internet plan do you have?Regularly in the internet plans for home and office, the quota of downloaded / uploaded mb dont have importance.but, if you are playing with a 3g connection, definitely is a bad idea. The majority of massive multiplayer games send and receive a lot of mb of data trhough internet, and eat in minnutes a 3g connection.
