This might not be easy to do though.this happens because your phone has an audio modification library by default (dolby atmos), and that library isn't optimized to accept both accessibility and media volume at the same time.the only solution that I know is to root your phone, and install an audio modification library patch. If you use magisk, there are a few libraries that disable that part of the library, so all sounds go through without a problem. Re: reaper just slowed down after nvda update hiJust came to give an update on the situation.It seems like installing the latest version of nvda wasn't the problem. this lag drove me crazy to the point that I couldn't take it anymore, so I went to reaper settings directory, deleted everything but the file related to scanned VST directories, and reconfigured reaper again. The only actual working way is to modify the voice assistant apk that exists in your phone, and replace it with the factory version. I've done this with talkback and it worked. If anyone has a smart tv, they can record from netflix via this method as well. If the tv device supports recording, it's even better as an other device is no longer required; but I'm not sure if it's ok to record stuff from a cable tv. I think you'd get a better answer just by searching the forum about it.short version, any vpn that offers openvpn configs can be accessible through the openvpn software for your platform; however, If you need to use the software developed by the VPN provider for some reason, you'll get different results. I've been using HMA VPN on windows recently. Their windows app has become much better in terms of accessibility in their last update, but it lacks features such as split tunnel.a big no to the nord vpn app! last time I used that vpn, I couldn't even switch servers! It might've changed by now though. ipvanish wasn't too bad. Decent speed, and screen reader friendly. The downside, most of their IPS were blocked by google, thus I had to solve a captcha every 30 seconds. I couldn't watch netflix with it, and for some weird reason I couldn't connect to teamtalk servers.express vpn was not very accessible, but I managed to work with it just fine. My experience with it goes back to 9 months ago or so. It was a little hard to do things I wanted at first, But I figured it out eventually. It's fast, and one of the few providers which offer split tunneling. Personally, this is the only thing that made me change my choice for the next phone I'm going to buy. Most android phones in the mid-range price are trash; overheating, lag, sluggish touch screens, stupid speakers, the list goes on. As for flagships, I've used most of samsungs "s" series up to S10, and had experience working with some other high-end devices here and there; non of them felt as snappy as an IPhone to me. I've never owned an IPhone before and my experience with IOS isn't that much, But I've heard about It's limitations and Still I'm gonna try it out. I know I went off topic, but what I want to say is that not all the sluggishness of android phones is because of talkback, sometimes it's the phone itself. Commentary helps make it somewhat better, but not many people know about it and It's a third party app, meaning that fewer people have the chance to use it. Now If huawei, xiaomi or any other Chinese manufacturer could offer CSR pre-installed, it'd be something else.an other thing I don't like in most android phones is their speakers, I haven't been able to find an android phone with decent audio quality yet, the best I've heard was a high-end phone from "LG" and still it wasn't as good as an Iphone 8, or anything higher than that. The h6 driver is so messed up and has high latency, but with asio4all I can get it down to 64ms. It's too bad we aren't able to share the device with screen readers at the same time though. Unfortunately, I don't know a device which could do that, other than komplete audio series@jackthe driver included with fl studio can't bring the latency lower than 256ms, or at least I think so. any ideas on how to lower it down? The saw franchise was thrilling. Re: any horror movie fans among us? can't say I'm a huge fan, but I've watched some. including all of those you mentioned, Evil Dead, all the Paranormal Activity movies (didn't like them at all) and a few more. The saw franchise was thrilling. Though personally I couldn't feel the connection to the last two movies, but they were worth watching.two of the movies that I liked the most were the shining and SinisterThe shining had the best horror story I've ever came across, and Sinister had awesome sound effects and music. Some even stare at me in awe when they find out I've gone to school! My parents, I don't really know how they tolerate it, but they're asked about me at all time. Personally I wouldn't give a damn but when It comes to them, I wish I wasn't born; I don't think it was worth all that trouble. believe it or not, A lot of people are living in this situation. Just wanted to point out a few things that not everyone may encounter.about media, well, where I live, there's no private or public broadcasting. TV and Radio are controlled by government. No netflix, no youtube, no cable TVs, nothing. That means people are being fed a lot of content created based on one mindset. Most of the characters with disabilities that I've seen on tv were either criminals whom there disability was a divine torment for their sins, or nothing but a tool for god's tests. I don't think this kind of society could have better ideas about blind people than it currently does. there is a bright side though, most of the people whom i've been in contact with for more than a few weeks seemed to change their mind about me as a blind person just a little bit. At least they see who I am and accept me with all my flaws instead of accusing me of being a sinner or thinking of me as someone who has a special connection to god. It feels like they've never seen a blind person in their life.Anyway, this is an interesting topic. I wish some of you guys would say how people think about you. or things that you're asked when you talk to someone, do they even ask you things like "how long've you been blind?" or do they pray god to cure you? I'm currently reading mistborn series, but since it's final exam times, I slowed down a little.
