[AZORES-Genealogy] My Vietnamese Family Finder Match is Looking for his Portuguese Birth Father
Hi Everyone, My Vietnamese Family Finder match is looking for his birth father he has provided me with some information. 1. He was born in 1970 during the Vietnam War 2. He was born in Da Nang, Vietnam 3. His birth father was an Army Nurse at Hoa Khanh hospital in 1969, and was transferred to a different location never knowing the girl he was dating was pregnant. This person is someone with at least some Portuguese ancestry likely from Pico island based on the two pages of common matches I have with Mr. Pham A.Faria -- For options, such as changing to List, Digest, Abridged, or No Mail (vacation) mode, log into your Google account and visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/Azores. Hi A Most likely, he can narrow down the candidates to just a few, but for thtat he definitively needs to get in touch with the US Army, and ask for their help. [AZORES-Genealogy] Note Margin - Marriage Record - Rabo de Peixe Marriage Record
Can some one decipher the margin note for the marriage record of: Francisco Pachdo de Mello and Ela Thomazia (left page), married on December 13?, 1841. He was the son of Jeronimo Ignacio Pacheno and Rosa Jacinta She was the daughter of Manoel Francisco Rapozo and Matilde Ricarda *I can see the date of what looks like December 1862 (or 1842) in the note margin and may be speaking of someones death?* http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/SMG-RG-RABODEPEIXE-C-1829-1845/SMG-RG-RABODEPEIXE-C-1829-1845_item1/P164.html Thank you in advance. Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Help with Immigrant Hostelry record from Sao Paulo Brazil
Erica, I read lines #14821 and 14822 and there is no last name, how do you know these are the family members you are looking for? I don't see any other information on them. Do you have any other document related to this one with matching dates? We are looking forward to finding relatives in Brazil! You have the record of one of the Hospedarias, I'm curious which one is. Rio de Janeiro had its own Hospedarias, so if this is a São Paulo Hospedaria, it makes sense that Capital is the capital of São Paulo estate, which is also named São Paulo. Maria de Jesus and Domingos (child) 1885 Passport Application.jpg This is the information I found in the Madeira database and it is all I have. I don’t know for sure that the people in the Hostelry record are the correct family members. They are good candidates at this point because they fit the profile.
