[Bacula-users] OT: LOPSA-NJ Professional IT Community Conference 2010 May 7-8 New Brunswick NJ.

2010-03-16 Thread John BORIS
Please pardon the Interruption. There isn't a way to post this for just folks
in the US.

LOPSA-NJ Professional IT Community Conference 2010
PICC10 is a gathering of professionals from the diverse IT (computer and
network administration) community in New Jersey to learn, share ideas, and
network. The conference includes invited speakers and keynotes, training by
top-notch experts that is relevant, useful, and recession-friendly; plus an
“unconference” track where attendees propose and host their own topics during
the event. We expect attendance of 100 to 150 IT professionals from mid- to
large-sized companies and academia from New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania. We go
by many titles but everyone is invited: system administrators, network
administrators, network engineers, Windows, Linux, Unix, DBAs, etc.

The changer is at:
/dev/sg5

The tape drive on this changer is at:
Data Node   /dev/st1
No Rewind Node  /dev/nst1

The tape drive and changer did work under Bacula when the system was
running Fedora Core 3. Since I had to upgrade to RHEL 5 I have had
issues getting Bacula running but that has been just me being dumb.

Hope this helps.

[Bacula-users] Problems getting Bacula to backup Windows Client

I am trying to get bacula configured to backup my windows client.

Is there a link to a sample Director Configuration file that shows how

Re: [Bacula-users] Problems getting Bacula to backup Windows Client

2009-11-23 Thread John BORIS

What kind of firewall you have in the windows client?
No firewall

Can you ping jerome from the command prompt of that machine?
Yes. I can run the bwx-console and connect o the director on Jerome
from the Windows Client.

Can you telnet jerome 9103 from the command prompt of that machine?
If
the telnet just hangs there it might have a connection, but if it says
connection refused there is a problem.

Yes I can telnet to port 9103 on Jerome

Do you have own DNS in your LAN? Or are the hosts names in some hosts
files?
The hosts machines are in host tables but not in DNS as this is a
private network behind a firewall. The units are all on the same network
and switch.

[Bacula-users] Confusion in setting up Bacula to Windows Clients

2009-10-08 Thread John BORIS
I had to rebuild my Bacula setup here and lost all of my setups.
Currently I am trying to get the Windows client to talk to my Bacula on
my RHEL 5 setup. Looking at the manual I can't wrap my head around the
configuration. In my director I have this setup:

Client {
  Name = John
  Address = 172.31.6.95
  FDPort = 9102
  Catalog = MyCatalog
  Password = XX2 # password for FileDaemon 2
  File Retention = 30 days# 30 days
  Job Retention = 6 months# six months
  AutoPrune = yes # Prune expired Jobs/Files
}

on the Windows machine I have

# List Directors who are permitted to contact this File daemon
#
Director {
  Name = jerome-dir
  Password = @client_password@
}

#
# Restricted Director, used by tray-monitor to get the
# status of the file daemon
#
Director {
  Name = jen-a-sys2-mon
  Password = Y
  Monitor = yes

When I try to find the status using bconsole it keeps telling me that
it can't connect to the client here is the error message:

Connecting to Client John at 172.31.6.95:9102
Failed to connect to Client John.

Have you disabled windows firewall or allowed bacula-fd through the
firewall.

John,
Thanks for the quick response. Also should the names match. In my
director I have the Client named John but that machine has a different
name. I figure the Ciient name on the server (bacula-dir.conf) is a
place holder and it uses the IP address to handle the connection and
sends the password.

I believe this password should match the Client password in
bacula-dir.conf. The reason I say believe is because I have not
implemented rigorous security and I have all bacula passwords being
the same.

[Bacula-users] Trouble installing on RHEL 5

2009-09-25 Thread John BORIS
I just installed bacula on my RHEL 5 server using rpm
bacula-mysql-3.0.2-1.el5.i386.rpm

I have a few questions:
1. Where did it install it? Can't find it anywhere but it says its

2. The database portion failed as it never prompted me for the database
password. Is there a How-To on manually creating the database?

Thanks in advance for now.

Re: [Bacula-users] Trouble installing on RHEL 5

2009-09-25 Thread John BORIS
Thanks to Ryan and Jari for the quick response. I found what I needed.
The issue is the bacula rpm and scripts assume that the mysql
installation doesn't require a password. I modified the scripts to
prompt for the password and things proceeded just fine. I previously had
an installation of bacula on this server but it was under Fedora Core. I
since had moved it to RHEL because of a major failure in hardware. Now I
just have to recreate things.

Thanks again.

[Bacula-users] Connecting Windows Client to LINUX Director

2007-03-29 Thread John BORIS
I have been following the thread Windows client unable to connect and
it almost answered all of my questions. I have some Windows Desktops I
want Bacula to backup to a directory on my Backup Server. Do I put the
job information in the Director's configuration on my backup server as
well as the client information. Then in the Client configuration on the

I haven't found this in the documentation , or maybe I am just too
dense to find it.

 Exactly. All you have to put in your client (file daemon) configuration
 is the Director (Name password), and the informations about the file
 daemon itself (name, port, working directory, pid directory, max
 concurrent jobs, etc...). When you install windows client, nearly
 everything will be configured, you have very little things to change.

When the mail shows up at my mail server jc.mydomain.org it is

This format is screwing up my email server.

Should that say [EMAIL PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I am hesitant to start modifying the line because I am not sure which
is required and which isn't.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

[Bacula-users] Question about setting up bsmtp

2007-03-06 Thread John BORIS
I am using Bacula 2.0.2 on Fedora Core 6 and I am bit confused about the
mailcommand line.
mailcommand = /home/bacula/bin/bsmtp -h mail.domain.com -f
\\(Bacula\) %r\
-s \Bacula: %t %e of %c %l\ %r

the -h option (per the instructions) is for your bsmtp mail server. I
replaced the mail.domain.com with the Fully qualified name of my bacula
server. That gets rejected. If I leave this out it sends to localhost
and that gets rejected. Mail will leave my server just by doing mail -s
Test [EMAIL PROTECTED] Reading the Manual it said provided you want to
use bsmtp. Does that mean I can just replace this with the regular
mail  command.

The Fedora Install is out of the box and I used the default mail
settings. Can anyone shed some light onto this setting.

Thanks

Although I am going through a reinstall on an upgraded server I can attest that

I have to implement Bacula but I'm not sure if it works with this kind of
tape.

Does anybody know?

Thanks.

[Bacula-users] problem with configure on FC 6

2007-02-23 Thread John BORIS
I am trying to install Bacula 2.0.2 from the source distribution. When I
run this:

 ./configure --sbindir=$HOME/bacula/bin /
--sysconfdir=$HOME/bacula/bin /
--with-pid-dir=$HOME/bacula/bin /
 --with-subsys-dir=$HOME/bacula/bin /
--enable-gnome /

--with-working-dir=$HOME/bacula/bin/working /
 --with-dump-email=myemail.mydomain.com /
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /
 --with-smtp-host=localhost

I get this error at the end:

configure: error: Invalid MySQL directory /usr/include/mysql - unable
to find mysql.h under /usr/include/mysql

So I did a
find / -name mysql.h

and got this back:
/usr/include/mysql/mysql.h

Is this a bug? or a feature? ;-)

I am doing the install as root.

Thanks. About 5 minutes ago I found a message to that. They should
change the README and INSTALL files. I installed Bacula a while back but

Try --with-mysql i.e. without the =dir, which is optional.

[Bacula-users] How can you get bacula to relabel a tape

2006-06-26 Thread John Boris
I am trying to get bacula to relabel the tapes I have in my autochanger.
They were already labeled through the label barcode command in vconsole
but the labels aren't being recognized. When bacula tries to use the
tape it says it can't find an appendable volume. Any ideas on this one.
I issued the label barcode command thinking it would relabel the tape
but I was wrong.

[Bacula-users] How do I get Bacula to stop asking for Volume_0001 when that Volume was deleted from the Database?

2006-06-22 Thread John Boris
Okay, I've asked this question a few times and I am still trying to get
bacula back to a working state. I had a working configuration on Fedora
Core 4, Athlon 64 bit, attached to a Dell 124T Tape library. I use
Bacula to do a Master Backup once a month and incrementals the rest.
This server handles disk backups from other servers and then bacula
backs it up to tape. It was working fine backing up and changing tapes
as they became full or somewhat full until the File System filled up.
Sorry poor planning. So I cleaned up my mess and then after doing some
RTFM'n about reusing tapes I did a Prune and purge and then deleted the
Volumes in the database. My Intent was to start over and to force bacula
to do a Full backup on the first tape. Now I get this error message.
All I want to do is start over without reinstalling bacula. Can anyone
point to some help on this?

Thanks

[Bacula-users] Bacula keeps asking for a Volume that was deleted

2006-06-09 Thread John Boris
I am trying to start over with my backup process. I think I screwed up
the Volume naming or something. When I set things up I had set the label
Format to Volume_. Things ran smoothly but then Bacula started marking
tapes as full when they weren't and started loading new tapes. It got to
the last tape and then asked for me to load new tapes since the
retention time wasn't exceeded for the other tapes in the changer. I
looked an I had it set at 365 days when it should have been 30 days. So
I did a purge and delete thinking that would clear the Catalog and
database so I could continue on. That didn't work since it now is
asking for Volume_0001 which doesn't exist since when I did a delete I
remember deleting that volume from the Catalog. All of the tapes in
the changer have been labeled using the btape command of using the
barcodes. Can anyone shed some light on this as to how I can just tell
bacula to start from scratch. Should I just do an SQl and clear out the
table manually? I have searched the lists and docs and haven't found
anything yet.

In bconsole I did a status of the Director and I get this:

Scheduled Jobs:
Level  Type Pri  Scheduled  Name
Volume
===
Differential   Backup10  09-Jun-06 13:05Client2
Volume_0001
Full   Backup11  09-Jun-06 23:10BackupCatalog
Volume_0001

The Volume named Volume_0001 was deleted.

[Bacula-users] Tapes marked full when they aren't

2006-06-06 Thread John Boris
On my Dell 124-T we are using ULTRIUM 2 Tapes that should hold 400gb
compressed. While troubleshooting a different issue I found that the
tapes are being marked as full when there is over 100GB of space left on
the tape. Is this normal or is this a configuration issue/bug? This is
on bacula 1.38.5 on Fedora Core 3.

In MediaID 6,7,8,9 I believe those rows are low because the server ran
out of drive space. That was poor planning on my part since this is a
new project and the server came in undersized. I am working to correct
that. The first row is when I first started this and is most likely
wrong. But I am concerned about 2,3,4,5.
Can anyone shed some light or pointers about this.

Re: [Bacula-users] Backup to disk then tape

2006-05-01 Thread John Boris
John,
We do that here (Backup to disk and then to tape). We have just started
using Bacula but we us it to backup to tape. I use Microlite's
BackupEDGE to backup my remote Servers to disk on my main backup server.
I have a network that is only used by me over night so differentials at
night are a piece of cake. We have a long time invested in BackupEDGE on
our SCO Servers. Then during the day I use Bacula to backup my Server
that holds the nightly backups. This works fine for us. I am not a
Bacula Guru but I think it would be just a matter of setting up
different jobs at the right interval to do what you want.

As for restores here we would first look to the on disk differentials
to see if the required file is there. In case of a disaster here I would
have to make a site visit to rebuild things so I would have a tape on
site of the Master, then once the system is back online I would just
restore the last differential. If I had to go to a previous volume that
was no longer on Disk I would locate that volume in the tape library and
restore that volume to disk and then restore that to my system. Before
we went to this we only kept the last thirty days of data anyway so this
provides us a longer recovery trail. I have had users delete something
and then ask me 45 days later if I still have the file. But in those
cases it was usually just a report format that could be recreated in
less time than it takes to restore the file.

Hi all,

I work in a ICT company and we are looking to replace Amanda. I figured

Bacula would be te best solution, but we hit a snag.

A feature my boss feels is paramount to a back-up package is write the

data to disk, then to tape. Bacula does that in a way, but data
spooling does only that; spooling. I need it to write to disk, then
copy or migrate the data to tape. According to the documentation, that

is a feature planned for the future. Unfortunately, I need it now.

I've considered simply backing data up to disk volumes, then copy that

to tape by other means, but I'm puzzled how a restore would work in
that
sort of situation.

Is there a workaround someone has successfully used in the field, on
production servers? Hating to have to reinvent a proverbial wheel, I
figured I'd ask the community. I really love Bacula and I would love to

use it in stead of giving Amanda a version bump and a fresh install on

our shiny new backup server.

So in short; I want backups on disk, then copy them to tape (with
Bacula, other backup software, commandline script, whatever). We run a

schedule much like the one explained in the manual (a daily, weekly,
monthly tape usage example).

Thanks in advance!

Re: [Bacula-users] Problem with an autoloader

2006-04-28 Thread John Boris
Stefan,
Speaking as a newbie that was a bit overwhelmed when I first started
with Bacula and a bit confused about the configuration file. I am not
sure which files you started with but the ones I downloaded (I started
just a few months back) had good examples in the default conf files.
There is one there for an autochanger with two drives. If you look at
that and just change things to match your setup it should work out of
the box. I commented out the second drive designation. I am not going to
try and explain this in detail since I am still new at this but here is
my setup:

#
# An autochanger device with two drives
#
Autochanger {
  Name = Autochanger
  Device = Drive-0
#  Device = Drive-2
  Changer Command = /root/bacula/bin/mtx-changer %c %o %S %a %d
  Changer Device = /dev/sg2
}

Device {
  Name = Drive-0  #
  Drive Index = 0
  Media Type = LTO-2
  Archive Device = /dev/nst1
  AutomaticMount = yes; # when device opened, read it
  AlwaysOpen = yes;
  RemovableMedia = yes;
  RandomAccess = no;
  AutoChanger = yes
# # Enable the Alert command only if you have the mtx package loaded
  Alert Command = sh -c 'tapeinfo -f %c |grep TapeAlert|cat'
}

This is in bacual-sd.conf. The /dev stuff would go in Changer Device
and in the Archive Device. The Device= I believe is actually a label
bacula uses to find the correct device. I hope that helps.

Hi evrybody

I just install an autoloader (HP SureStore DAT24x6) on my PC but i
don't
know how to configue bacula-sd.conf.
I had seen the tutorial but nothing run.
My current bacula-sd.conf :
Device {
 Name = HPloader
 Media Type = DDS-4
 Changer Device = /dev/st0
 Archive Device = /dev/nst0
 Changer Command = /etc/bacula/scripts/mtx-changer %c %o %S %a %d
 AutomaticMount = yes; # when device opened, read it
 AlwaysOpen = yes;
 Label media = yes;
 RemovableMedia = yes;
 RandomAccess = no;
 AutoChanger = yes
}

I had find this configuraion in an example file in the bacula install,
but
when i want to label my tapes, i can't do.
I just have the possibility to label my autoloader (slot 0). Bacula
don't
ask me which slot i want labelling.
I think i have a wrong bacula-sd.conf ...

Is somebody run bacula with an HP-autoloader ??
Can somebody help me ?

Thanks !!!

Re: [Bacula-users] Problem with an autoloader

2006-04-28 Thread John Boris
I am not sure since I don't know the entire History. I am using 1.38.5.
What is line 63 column 12. That should give you some clue as to what is
misconfigured. What I did when I was starting out was to go back and
read again the manual. I set aside free time where I wouldn't be
disturbed so I could read the docs through. Then run the tests line by
line as you go through the tutorial. You have to have an Autochanger
section defined that has a device = portion that points to a Device
section of the same name. Then in the Device section you have to tell it
that there is an autochanger but setting the field AutoChanger = yes.

Re: [Bacula-users] Problem with an autoloader

2006-04-28 Thread John Boris
You have this wrong. The Device is just one unit the Tape Drive not each
slot in the autochanger. So change the line:

Device = tape1, tape2, tape3, tape4, tape5, tape6

in the Autochanger
to

Device = tape1

Then delete all of the Device sections
Device {
...
}
except the first one. Also add the Archive Device = /dev/whatevere
your tape drive is

Then try it.

Re: [Bacula-users] Autochanger suggestions..

2006-04-24 Thread John Boris
Brett,
I am using Bacula on Fedora Core 3 with the Dell 124T. It took me a
while to get it working but so far it has proven to be a good buy. We
got it on an Educational Pricing from Dell but it was near your budget
figure. We got it with one magazine and 10 Ultrium-2 Data cartridges. We
also purchased the Adaptec 39160 card to go with it. I didn't want any
reason for them (Dell) to say it wasn't working because of the card. The
entire package came in just under $5k. That is $1k over your budget but
if you have the correct controller and the tapes you save there. I am
planning on adding the other Magazine next fiscal year. If you go the
Dell route make sure you upgrade the firmware on the Drive and the
Loader before hassling with Bacula. The one other nice thing on the 124T
is that you can upgrade the drive to an LTO-3 if you want to later.

Although we are a large school district this is a small operation. The
space on this device will allow me a lot of flexibility. You didn't say
your OS or the amount of data so this unit may be too large or not large
enough.

Hi, First post to the list.

I have been using bacula for a few months now. Doing basic backups to

the files system. I am looking into buying an autochanger. I was
wondering if folks have had any luck with the adic faststor 1?
Looking at the Supported_Autochanges.html I see the adic faststor 2
but not 1.

Or if folks have any recommendations on a changer to buy please let
me know. We are a small company looking to spend no more then
~4000.00 USD.

TIA

[Bacula-users] Success with PowerVault 124T

2006-04-18 Thread John Boris
I want to thank everyone on the list especially Pierre for helping me
with my setup. I was finally able to get things working here. Here is
what I had to do.

1. The first hurdle was to understand bacula's configuration and this
took some quiet time to RTFM.
2. My setup is: Fedora Core 3 on a Dual Athlon 64bit processor, Adaptec
39160 and Dell PowerVault 124-T with LTO-2 Drive and one magazine.
3. Load the mtx rpm for FC 3
4. Edit rc.local to get sg_mod loaded (added line modprobe sg). Other
Fedora admins might know the proper way but it works for me.
5. Ran the btape test program which passed with flying colors but
failed the autochanger test.
6. Ran the autochanger test separately and it passed.
7. Ran the fill command and found that this failed when it tried to
change tapes.
8. After a 3 hour phone call session with Dell it turns out that the
Firmware on the 124T was outdated. I got the correct file from Dell and
ran the utility from the command line and updated the Drive's firmware,
restarted the 124T and the server, using the Web interface upgraded the
Loaders firmware and restarted the 124T and my server.
9. Edited the mtx-changer to use wait_for_device option.
10. Ran bconsole and did label barcodes

Everything ran fine until the job that I had scheduled a week ago at
the start kicked off and stopped the labeling process. But while I was
trying to figure out what happened it had done two backups.

So the firmware upgrade seems to be a must for things to work. The
firmware version on the autoloader is 31.0 and the Drives firmware is
version 1826.

Again thanks to everyone on the list for their patience and help.

[Bacula-users] Newbie Configuration Question

2006-04-17 Thread John Boris
I am new to bacula and I am trying to configure my setup. I am running
Fedora Core 3 and using a Dell 124T. From what I can see the Dell 124T
has passed all of the tests. So now I am trying to edit the
configuration files.

 In the bacula-sd.conf I have this defined:

Autochanger {
  Name = Autochanger
  Device = Drive-0
#  Device = Drive-2
  Changer Command = /root/bacula/bin/mtx-changer %c %o %S %a %d
  Changer Device = /dev/sg2
}

Device {
  Name = Drive-0  #
  Drive Index = 0
  Media Type = LTO-2
  Archive Device = /dev/nst1
  AutomaticMount = yes; # when device opened, read it
  AlwaysOpen = yes;
  RemovableMedia = yes;
  RandomAccess = no;
  AutoChanger = yes
# # Enable the Alert command only if you have the mtx package loaded
  Alert Command = sh -c 'tapeinfo -f %c |grep TapeAlert|cat'
}

In the bacula-dir.conf I have this defined:

JobDefs {
  Name = MainJob
  Type = Backup
  Level = Incremental
  Client = jerome-fd
  FileSet = Full Set
  Schedule = WeeklyCycle
  Storage = Drive-0
  Messages = Standard
  Pool = Default
  Priority = 10
}
Job {
  Name = Client2
  Client = jerome-fd
  JobDefs = MainJob
  Write Bootstrap = /root/bacula/bin/working/Client2.bsr
}
Job {
  Name = BackupCatalog
  JobDefs = MainJob
  Level = Full
  FileSet=Catalog
  Schedule = WeeklyCycleAfterBackup
  # This creates an ASCII copy of the catalog
  RunBeforeJob = /root/bacula/bin/make_catalog_backup bacula bacula
  # This deletes the copy of the catalog
  RunAfterJob  = /root/bacula/bin/delete_catalog_backup
  Write Bootstrap = /root/bacula/bin/working/BackupCatalog.bsr
  Priority = 11 # run after main backup
}
# List of files to be backed up
FileSet {
  Name = Full Set
  Include {
Options {
  signature = MD5
}

File = /
  }

  Exclude {
File = /proc
File = /tmp
File = /.journal
File = /.fsck
  }
}

Client {
  Name = jerome-fd
  Address = jerome
  FDPort = 9102
  Catalog = MyCatalog
  Password = f0/iy0aB0V0gK9YxE2M3BPzEp1IkW9sbcysZ69mSSC1f  #
password for FileDaemon
  File Retention = 30 days# 30 days
  Job Retention = 6 months# six months
  AutoPrune = yes # Prune expired Jobs/Files
}

And in jerome-fd.conf I have this defined:

FileDaemon { # this is me
  Name = jerome-fd
  FDport = 9102 # where we listen for the director
  WorkingDirectory = /root/bacula/bin/working
  Pid Directory = /root/bacula/bin/working
  Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 20
}

When I try and start bacula I get this error:

./bacula start
Starting the Bacula Storage daemon
Starting the Bacula File daemon
Starting the Bacula Director daemon
17-Apr 12:06 bacula-dir: ERROR TERMINATION at parse_conf.c:508
Config error: Could not find config Resource storage referenced on
line 32 :   Storage = Drive-0

: line 32, col 19 of file /root/bacula/bin/bacula-dir.conf
  Storage = Drive-0

Looking at that it says that the Storgae = Drive-0 is wrong. Should
this be set to Device = Autochanger? Looking at the configuration it
looks like you can have multiple Device {} sections but the names must
be different?

Any help would be appreciated. If this is explained in the manual than
pointing to that section is fine.

Thanks in Advance.

You need to add a storage resource to bacula-dir.conf.

This is the abstraction for a device controlled by a Storage Daemon.

You probably want something like

Storage {
  Name = name, this is what you put in the Job / JobDefs
  Address = IP Address or Name of system running bacula-sd
  SDPort = 9103 Must match the Storage resource in bacula-sd.conf
  Password = password matching the one in the Director resource in
bacula-sd.conf
  Device = Drive-0
  Media Type = LTO-2
}

I watched the staus on the Dell-124T and bacula was succesful in
loading the tape from Slot 1 into the drive. So why didn't it label the
tape? Since I have 8 tapes in this magazine do I have to label each
tape?

Pierre,
Thanks for the reply and it gives me some confidence. I am now just trying to
learn how to configure bacula. I am a bit dense when it comes to following the
examples in the manual.

 John,

   Did you find a resolution to this problem elsewhere? I am considering
 the purchase of a tape loader and the 124T looks good on paper but after a
 lot of googling this is the first post I've seen with someone using a 124T
 and bacula, so far your results don't seem promising...

ni ideas for john's problem but i can tell you that I use a 124T LTO2
autochanger with 2 magazines under a redhat entreprise server 4 without
problems at all (nothing to do execpt catching the good device for the drive
just doing something like cat /proc/scsi)

Hey Kern! this thread is a good reason to add dell pv 124T to the list of
devices working great with bacula isn't it?

[Bacula-users] testing autochanger Dell-124T

2006-04-06 Thread John Boris
I have a Dell 124T with a CERTANCE Drive installed. I am running Fedora
Core 3. I am following the manual to test bacula with my setup. The
main reason I am using Bacula is for the ability to write to a tape and
append to the tape, when it is full load the next tape and keep going.
So bacula is sitting on one server without any clients accessing it.
Following the section :
Testing Your Tape Drive with Bacula each step has went fine.
I ran the autochanger test and there weren't any errors. When I tried
the fill test from btape it will fill the first tape and give me this
message:

when ready:

Per the Manual I just have to hit enter and the autochanger will unload
the first tape and load the second. So I hit enter and get this

[Bacula-users] New user Question about GUI Interface

2006-03-17 Thread John Boris
I am evaluating Bacula and would like to know if the enable-gnome option
is required. Does the GNOME interface make this package easier to
configure and maintain? The problem I have is my Fedora Core 3 Server
was installed without X Windows and I haven't found any sort of docs
that explains how to install it after the fact. So should I install X
Windows on my server or not?

Thanks in Advance
