Well it would have to depend on  the way you would complete the first 
chapter.


Liam could have a boring day and a boring life and it would be fine.

This game leaves a lot of unanswered questions to it and possibilities.

1.  the movie which clearly has an x1 like guy being defeated by another 
person while not refferenced could actually be real.


2.  why is the city so empty, smells like something bad has happened.

3.  there isn't anything to watch on tv, in fact bar the first movie, 
there actually isn't much except for a couple random programs and news 
which could be construde as badness going on.


The net is offline, and liam isn't doing anything about it.

He strangely can order dinner.

Finally the fact liam is having a boring life could actually be the 
dream here so in chapter2 the story could continue from where superliam 
1 left off.


There are several other ways the story could actually go.

The two obvious ones.

1.  liam could have been drink the night before and or high or both, 
after some party which would mean he woke up with a hangover, and fead 
his pet beer and other things.


He could randomly find his suit and tie was his costume, and find his 
laser and communicator, they could be toys, they could be real.


He could find that with the internet offline his phone wouldn't work.

This is quite possible since most of the older phone systems are on the 
way out and its all online.


He could have a dead cellphone.

He could get an emergency message in the middle of the movie, and 
realise that the dream he had which was superliam1 was actually real 
except he actually had to be the heroe in real life for some strange reason.


Then again it could be a complete other disaster.

Why is liam not going shopping, he can't be that much of a slacker that 
he just sits on his rump all day long.


The first thing I'd be doing would to yell at my isp to fix my damn net 
before I switch previders or something legal.


Why is clamber the online offline game on his laptop.

I have a lot of games and programs on the laptop that don't need the net 
though my system is quite limited without it, at least I am not as 
limited as the systems with just small ssd units and not much else but 
still I could function without the net for a little while mostly.


What about if the power went out for no reason.

Several other things like that.

Next, x1 is dead, but roots could be x1 is for real and liam was just 
having a dream, or well judgement day, zompocolipse, yeah if we use the 
other 2 games from lworks round the time of sl1 well.


While its mentioned liam has a rec room he doesn't seem to use it at all.

It is clear that liam can't cook, what about if he has to eat last 
nights disgusting left overs.


Finally liam decides to make the dream a reality, by programming it.

While doing it he by mistake makes it real, except he is x1.

And x1 wins, and well other things.

Finally we could have randomness of everything which has no reason to it 
all but well who knows.


Right now this feels like liam is in some holodeck/ matrix/ dream 
sequence and is about to smack into the ground and break both his legs 
and start another suckfull day somewhere.


This is an interesting joke but it hints of more coming, there is a lot 
open here if you look at it.

First problem I am having is that the WASD keys that are set for moving the 
ship do nothing.  In fact, even changing those default keys for ship navigation 
do nothing.  The previous version of New Horizons, that was not a problem.  
Second, I am still struggling when it comes to learning how to get around to 
different planets etc.

[blind-gamers] creating a code free RPG using Sable, new video

Hi Everyone,

 

For those interested, We've just uploaded the next video  in the series, the
link to the video is below. For anyone new to the topic the video series
shows our developer tools (Sable) and demonstrates how they can be used to
create an RPG audio game without the need for any coding  or scripting.
Although our long term goal is to sell the development tools so you can all
build your own audio games, Sable is currently just in its prototype stage
and  our primary focus at this stage is our first two games which will allow
us to hone and tweak Sable before its release. The link to the next video

right?  It starts with the platform crumbling away and liam falling then 
the browser asks me to pick the wake up option? There's no audio at all

That's so nifty! I bet it was built using Twine or something! I've
coded text adventure games by hand, four of them to be exact, three
were in competitions and they all scored badly, but they looked
exactly, and I mean exactly, like something made in Dark Grue! Didn't
learn about Dark Grue until I stopped doing that, though.

The most elaborated april fool I've ever seen. That is, if it's really 
what we're thinking it to be.
I'm in a doubt here because once I played an entire text-based adventure 
game via browser and it looked like this one, with decisions taking you 
to different pages and such.

[blind-gamers] Gamers Discussion List Guidelines #guidelines

[blind-gamers@groups.io Group Moderators]

1. All new members subscribing to the Blind Gamers list are
automatically put on moderated status. Once posts have been deemed
appropriate, the member will then be free to post without each
subsequent post needing approval. There is no set length of time for how
long a member is initially on moderated status.

2. A list member deemed to have broken the guidelines will receive one
private warning message. If they continue to break the guidelines they
will be put on moderated status. Think of this as a probation period.

3. A list member may be removed/banned by the moderators without prior
warning if circumstances warrant an immediate response. This could be
but is not limited to unacceptable postings containing; salacious or
defamatory material, piracy, cracking/hacking of any software, and
anything illegal. It will be up to the moderators to decide on whether
to allow any removed/banned list member back to the list.

4. If it is deemed necessary, a list member may be temporarily put on
moderated status, if they refuse to comply with a directive from a
moderator. EG: if a list member does not stop posting on a closed
topic of conversation.

5. Off-topic messages are not allowed on the list. If you are not sure
of whether a message you want to send is off-topic please email the
moderators privately and ask. Deliberately posting an off-topic message
is not acceptable even if you put an off-topic line in the subject. EG:
OT, O/T, Off-Topic.

6. At present the list has one list owner. Sending email to the list owner 
address will be seen by them.

7. Foul language is not tolerated. We realize that some words are not
considered foul language in certain parts of the world or in the context
used. However when posting to the list decide on whether your message
would be appropriate in a children's book or if it would be tolerated in
grade school.

8. This list is comprised of many people with a varying range of
education, background, ethics, and age. Because of this we ask that all
list members show tolerance toward each other's style of writing and
expression. If you feel that another list member has posted a message
which is offensive, unreadable, grammatically or syntactically incorrect
please do not complain about it on list. Either ignore the message or
take it up with the moderators privately. Flaming will not be tolerated
at all whether it's by someone posting knowingly trying to flame someone
else or a member replying to a message in anger. Be aware that the
moderators read every message on list regardless of the subject so they
can take action privately if necessary.

9. If a list member wishes to quote a message replied to we ask that
only that message in reference is actually quoted and not the entire
thread. It does not matter if the style of quoting is top or bottom as
long as messages are trimmed down. To help facilitate this we have set a
fixed allowed message size. If your message exceeds this size it will
not go through.

10. so that members breaking the above guidelines cannot claim they did
not know such guidelines existed,   they will be posted to the list once a 
month, on
the first of each month. we strongly advise everyone to keep a copy of
these guidelines for their future reference.

11. If any changes are made to the guidelines they will be announced to
the list. This will give members time to leave the list if they do not
agree with the changes. Anyone can always obtain a copy of the latest
rules by  emailing blind-gamers+guidelines AT groups DOT io. By subscribing 
and/or
posting to the Gamers list, you are agreeing to abide by the guidelines
set forth.

12. Have a good time. We ask that all list members have a good time and
enjoy the list when ever possible. Sharing game tricks, tips and
strategies is most definitely encouraged.
