Can't help you there, but when it comes to graphics design you
really ought to go talk to our local artist, Steve Sloan. Our
resident timeline maniac, Alberto Monteiro, could also be of
great help. Like I said, if you need help you only have to ask.
Welcome, Matt! It's always good to see another person straddling
both Brin-Ls. :-) I'm glad to hear somebody's taking over that
Uplift encyclopedia. I'll be happy to help if I can.
And, by the way, I'm hoping we'll see you in the weekly Brin-L
chat on Wednesdays. See my site for details:

Welcome aboard. This is a wild group. As far as postings go, On-topic is
like a rare wine, to be savored.

Some simple rules...

* If you want Dr. Brin to see your message, include 'BRIN' in the subject.
* Text only replies Blood has been spilt over posts done in HTML.

You'll catch on to the rest as time moves on.

My own personal rule... NEVER post facts without facts to back your
claims... I have the reputation of the Baghdad Bob of the Brin List ...

Again, Welcome aboard...

And if BRIN is in the subject line and it's wandering off onto a
tangent, either remove BRIN or change one of the characters to
something else, so as not to clutter up his inbox with stupid
ridiculousness (as opposed to non-stupid ridiculousness).

Oh, come on, the scratches may have drawn blood, but not badly enough to
spill. ;)

You'll catch on to the rest as time moves on.

And if you miss something, *someone* will let you know, one way or
another.

Keep this in mind triply so if you decide to engage in debate with Dan
M. This should also be very much taken into account if you engage in
debate with Erik, as well. And some other people, but I'm too fried
right now to remember all of them.

 Again, Welcome aboard...

Welcome from me, as well. It was a delight to find your initial post in
the pile of posts needing moderator approval, something not spam and
very much on-topic to boot! :)

information

I believe this is enough for a first message. I look forward to further

You'll have to put up with everything I've suggested and our good Dr. Brin
has not made official.

See all of the work so far at

(And I really should get that important Rousit piece redone.)

Sounds great to me, I don't know why anyone here would have any
objections. As you may have determined (and to quote an early member*)
All is Brin on this list, but please feel free to jump in with questions
and/or requests.

Welcome to the list!
