We will be located at the far end of the Elm Lake part of the park. Call us on 146.520 MHz simplex if you would like to reach out to us while in the park for directions. One more reminder: There will be a pre-POTA net on 40m run by Sean N5LNK who will be NCS for the net. Just to get my two cents on Richard’s email Richard is right there’s a lot of
people that got a lot of hurt feelings in this club and ideas if they think
should be seen but if everybody just gets mad and bitches and complains that
nothing gets done so we need to find some sort of compromise to where everybody
can come together and work together because there’s plenty enough talent in
this club that we could do amazing things if we all just work together

I'll come to you or meet wherever.

Also is there some place local that sells decent quality coax? It's a bummer trying to get this stuff shipped and I would prefer to shop local when I can.

The best lighting protection was the 5 bucks I spent on my membership in
BVARC. As a new ham the amount of information that all the members have
passed along has been great. My education of of this great hobby has been
expanded and improve. I want to thank all the members of BVARC for the
willingness to help us newbees and others to become better hams. Looking
forward to many years of membership in BVARC the best largest ham club in
Texas.
