The Governor's Daughter: The Mysteries of Colonial Cambodia

2017-06-09 Thread Sambath Meas
Good morning, everyone:

Enter a picturesque town in the heart of historic Cambodia, where the majestic
ancient Khmer past converges with French colonial present. Asians and Europeans
coexist peacefully, for the most part. However, Anjali Chinak, an aspiring
sleuth, reveals the complexity of human nature when her dear friend is
attacked. For one weekend only, from June 9-11, a portal will be opened for a
free download. With your Kindle App you can download a free copy of The
Governor’s Daughter: The Mysteries of Colonial Cambodia (Book 1) to read on
your smartphone and handheld devices. Please tell all your friends. Thank you
and have a great day! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0716WW3TJ

Re: My Rebuttal to bang Theary Seng's Language in Crisis

2011-08-25 Thread Sambath Meas
Yes, The Phnom Penh Post has both English and Khmer versions. The
Khmer speaking population can read the Khmer version and the English
speaking population can read the English version.

There is no beautiful concrete pavement in the rice fields either, but
that is the point of the artwork. It is to demonstrate the world in
which the elitist character is living. That is the theme of the
rebuttal. You are a smart person to catch that.

Thanks.

Khmer version using Khmer Unicode. Why don't you
write your rebuttal in Khmer? Perhaps your knowledge in Khmer is limited or
you can not use Khmer keyboard as well.

BTW, when  and where had you seen coconut trees planted in between or inside

  Description

The Vietnam War had a major impact on the American people and
politics. Unfortunately, the majority of people in the world do not
know that the Vietnam War also happened in Cambodia and Laos. This is
a story of a Khmer family that lived through the legacy of the Nixon/
Kissinger doctrine that helped the Khmer Rouge rise to power,
resulting in the murder of over one million of their own people.
Although almost two million Khmers had perished, those of us who
survived this dark period and dispersed all over the world are their
  immortal seeds.
