[Care2002-developers] Coninet ecombill module

2004-12-07 Thread Alexander Hölzel
Hi Francesco,

CONI's Care2x is a nice piece of work. Congratulations !

I tested the ecombill module. It failed in creating bills expanding to more
than one page. See result here:
http://ciclone.mfh.it/care2002/conidemo/fatture/2089.pdf

Is it a general problem of ecombill or is it CONI specific problem ?

BTW: it is possible to view
http://ciclone.mfh.it/care2002/conidemo/fatture/2089.pdf without any login
procedure. This should be a severe security problem in real life ! (U can
also list all bills using: http://ciclone.mfh.it/care2002/conidemo/fatture

Francesco: Ho studiato Medicina e Chirurgia al la Università La Sapienza a
Roma per 3 anni. (1985-88). Vorrei venire a trovare il suo dipartimento, per
vedere l'istituto e la installatione ed uso di Care2x. Potrei venire verso
il periodo pascuale del anno prossimo. Forse cé qualque evento interessante
in questo periodo a Roma o in Italia. Cosi si potrebbe combinare qualque
attività. Mi puo dare un indicatione ?

Tanti saluti e: ciao !

Greetings

Alex

Hi to everybody out there.

I'm Francesco, and with some colleagues of mine we deeply modified Care2x
for the needs of a CONI's (National Italian Comitee for Olympiad) structure
(The National Institute of Sport Medicine).
Our current goal is to integrate a special software for the Antidoping
Office, with many interesting features, expecially pertinent with the
security management of sensible data, and concerned with the handling of
some specific events. I 've also implemented a nice interface for the
managing of documents (upload of files pertinent to one exact event).

I take this occasion also to say that we always worked in the trace of the
Open philosophy, so we could not offer some open software to any one else
who can take it for free and then customize it on its own (or asking that
service to other).
Till now we only work for our customers, actually only CONI Servizi S.p.A.,
but we will be very happy to give support to anyone who need it.

Thank you all for the attention and the eventual support.

Greetings to everyone.
Francesco and Marco

P.S.: by the way, we developed the code for CONI Servizi, as correctly
reported, but we are another corporation, Coniet S.p.A.

Hi Alexander,

I tested the ecombill module. It failed in creating bills expanding to
more
 than one page.
It's true for the code submitted, but not for the ones created in the
software in exercise..something we developed was putted directly on the
exercise server, and not in the code for our developer.
Is it a general problem of ecombill or is it CONI specific problem ?

The ecombill module of Coninet code it's just in the CONI version..However
it's a little fix you can adjust with some Apache (for our case) module.

See my explanation above. All the submitted pdf are all false!! They are
fake bill or report that I did to make tests.

Intanto ciao!! e complimenti per il tuo Italiano!!
L'idea mi piace, ma devo chiedere l'autorizzazione al mio superiore e alla
persona responsabile dell'istituto.
Ti contatterò presto per darti notizie.Magari mandami una mail con il tuo
indirizzo privato.
Ciao,
Francesco

Re[2]: [Care2002-developers] Coninet

2004-12-03 Thread Wilfried Gödert
Hi,
here's no problem (except my bad spoken English...:()!
It was only if i understand it in a wrong way.

So the Antidoping module, not being part of Care2x code, is just an eventual
apart new module, and we don't know if we'll share it.

As far as i know meanwhile the internal structure of the IOC there is
no point to discuss it at the moment inside the list.
I also do not know the international contacts you share.
Lets talk it first private in mails, to come to a reasonable result to
force the way for care2x in allowed use of NOC and IOC of care2x
software, to connect the right people and to get their support as
transmitter to the central.

However we put different new features and whole modules in the Care2x
software, as the direct billing, the detailed and specific report for each
visit, the statistics module, an interface that create an ASCII file (mailed
each day to another software that manage all the bookkeeping of CONI,
 .and many more modules.

i will check it. it's based on version 1 off care2x?

Sorry about the lack of documentation...that's a fault!

I suggest as an offer to review how others like to make their
documentation. See it only as example. Possibly we have to find for
care2x another structure. Pleas check this page for inspiration:

http://typo3.org/doc.0.html?tx_extrepmgm_pi1[show]=matrixcHash=2ca089abb7

I picked here only an example for a structure that you can understand easy:

http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/sr_email_subscribe/

I will help you if you like to set up the documentation if you like to
set it under a creative commons licence. I will share my time with it
to find a reasonible result for a workflow how to write a
documentation that is revied and that you are the copyright owner. It
is just an offer to you. I will ask a typo developer to help us with
the needed automatisation codes.

regards

Wilfried

Hi francesco,

i discussed this with a contact person at the german antidoping
office, what is responsible for the oic antidoping controls.

http://www.dopinginfo.de

In fact of knowledge the democratic structures of ioc i am interested
to the papers description arround the project and what the software is able to
do
in a demo.
Did you changed the code in that way that all the legal rules are
solved? anonymisation of all the data and the tests? ...

hardware needs and so on.

I take this occasion also to say that we always worked in the trace of the
Open philosophy, so we could not offer some open software to any one else who
can take it for free and then customize it on its own (or asking that service
 to other).

Does this mean that the GPL will be broken? I hope i understood it in
a wrong way. The only one who is allowed to change it is Elpidio,
because he is the copyright holder.

I hope it is cleared up that i can understand it right. In a previous
mail Elpidio wrote that the code goes up to sourceforge soon. Are
there not all codes are available and only parts for a demonstration?
