"Check for external changes Suspended" does not araised. So I think issue is fixed. Then it shall dissapear after a while. Theoretically it could trigger another indexing round. After about 5 minutes or so Refreshing indices process successfully completed and also "Check for external changes Suspended" disappired Snapshot: [^selfsampler15675620776487318185.npss] So as a result on my home PC all work just fine. What is strange that in is the FileOwnerQuery what is responsible almost the ~45% of the CPU usage in the latest snapshots. That query shall be much lighter It seems that the Archive file handling part is heavy there, maybe we can do some improvements there. NetBeans scans for external changes. Why? Because it does, if there is smth external, it scans for it. If there is smth broken that maybe caused of an external change then it is not the problem of the workflow. And how long should we wait for those missing features? Tickets are still there since ages (not only stuff that I requested) and still missing and not implemented etc. A lot of people are complaining in there tickets again and again. It is indeed much smarter to have less projects open in NetBeans and to try to use the features that NetBeans provides rather than switching back and forth to other tools. Is NetBeans Git missing something? If you need an external tool, because NetBeans has some features not, that gitkraken has (e.g. visualization of git log), then use it. All those things like, using less projects or using only NetBeans features is not helpful to identify the problem. I also not have a solution for that now just checking the snapshots. I renamed this issue in order to concentrate on the stack overflow first. If we could resolve that the performance would be better as well.
