[courier-users] SqWebMail truncating messages
Hi, I've noticed that SqWebMail truncates messages that contain a lot of message/rfc822 inline attachments. I've attached a sample email that exhibits this problem. The truncation is very abrupt; it's frequently truncated mid-HTML-tag. Is this a known issue? Is there any setting to fix this, or a workaround? I'm running courier 0.60. [courier-users] Greylisting problem
Hello, I'm using courier with pythonfilter (v.1.6) in a virtualised environment and try to using greylisting. All mails are delayed for 5 minutes but all mails from the local network are delayed too. I have added the external IP-address of the network in the file default which is located in the smtpaccess folder, because the server is located outside of the local network. After entering the IP address I have run makesmtpaccess. Here my entry: X.X.X.X allow,RELAYCLIENT I don't know why all local mails are delayed. Should'nt it forward all mails from the local network or have I forgotten to configure something? I hope someone has an idea. : ) Bye shion -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Greylisting-problem-tp21663570p21663570.html Sent from the courier-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SourcForge Community SourceForge wants to tell your story. http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword ___ courier-users mailing list courier-users@lists.sourceforge.net Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users

Check whether you enabled whitelist_relayclients module of Pythonfilter in /etc/pythonfilter.conf file. If not, then do it and restart Pythonfilter. 2. Check whether you have Tab(s) character between X.X.X.X and allow,RELAYCLIENT. Courier needs that character. 3. Check how your Courier can see hosts from the local network. Make sure they have the same IP addresses like in lines of the smtpaccess file. If the hosts from your local network shouldn't relay via your Courier, then in my opinion it's better to use whitelist_block of Pythonfilter and allow,BLOCK in the smtpaccess file. Good luck! [courier-users] Profile or User Preferences via IMAP
Dear all, we use Squirrelmail as webmail software, and as you know, squirrel uses to store user's preferences into a file stored onto the user's home directory. We are not happy with this solution, and we'd like to know if it's possible to store it into the user's mailbox, and retrieve it via IMAP. For this solution, we need that the file (or mail) containing user's prefs should not be visible to user's MUA (outlook, or whatever), to void the risk of deleting, etc. Is this possible? Is there any hidden directory for this purpose? Thanks in advance! Borja Pacheco Ortega Jefe de Área de Servicios Telemáticos Dept. You can choose to put prefs on a dbms like MySQL. Anyway, this question should be posted at squirrelmail mailinglist, not here. Ciao, Dino Ciuffetti. Due to lack of complaints from users and enough info for debugging I didn't pay much attention to that. Visually it appears on screen as just part of message headers. Also amd64, by the way (however, Linux, but that shouldn't matter). Sorry, my mistake, it was not amd64, but relatively old i386 system (Pentium 4 HT). I tried to open this message on amd64 system - no crash! However on i386 machine sqwebmaild always crashes on this message even after upgrading OS to the latest 6.3 release, Apache 1.3 to 2.2.9 and recompiling and reinstalling Courier. BTW, logs of the amd64 system shows eventual sqwebmaild crashes too (much more rare then on i386, one-two per month). Did anyone else notice sqwebmaild segfaults? Hi, Alexei.
