[Coworking] Re: Multi Point Video Conferencing

2010-11-24 Thread EcoHub
I just set up Google TV and the new Logitech system and we're rolling
great! Check it out on our Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/EcoHub#!/album.php?aid=313039id=357577790096

My camera covers the whole main room (so i can get 25+ people all in
the shot) with this super wide angle!

This works like a dream, EcoHub members love it, and the skype app
will be available in Jan 2011.

  Hi-

I apologize if this is a duplicate question, but I couldn't find any
archives on the group which answered my question.

Does anyone have success with setting up multi pointvideoconferencing?
Ideally I'd like to have a system that can work with other types of systems
rather than only a proprietary system. For instance, I'd love to be able to
connect with other coworking spaces around the globe, multiples spaces at
the same time, and not have to worry about compatibility issues.

Would love to hear thoughts, suggestions and especially success stories!

  Many thanks.

2010-11-11 Thread Anne
If you're looking for a dedicated service rather than something for
your members to use on their computers, check out Vidtel. They play
with all the big guys (Cisco, tandberg, skype, etc.) but are not quite
as expensive!
