Hi Comments inline. Regards Ed Willink On 18/07/2016 16:42, Doug Schaefer wrote: The +# days thing has never made sense, really. If you really chain dependencies I’m sure you’d get into double digits. In fact, CDT cycles on itself with a couple of other projects. It's not perfect, but its better than nothing. At +1, we have EMF < UML < OCL, and worse OCL depends on XText at +2. We survive, only one OCL re-contribution in a couple of years. Graphiti at +2, seems better. Probably what would be better would be a better way to publicize API changes that affect downstream builds. Don’t really have an answer there but it is what causes problems. If APIs are well managed, in theory, you can build before you’re dependencies do. I think that it would be reasonable to very strongly recommend that breaking API appear in an I-build a week before +0 so that nightly builds should detect problems comfortably before the last minute. Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Graphiti participating in Oxygen
Michael, WTP does have a prereq on Graphiti (for our JPA Diagram Editor), and we are at +2. (And you said that GEF is at +2... they are at +1). It would be beneficial for WTP if Graphiti were to move up to +2 (at least). Are there any plans for Graphiti to leave the "incubation" state for Oxygen?
