Re: [css-d] nav wraps in native IE9
It happens in all browsers on my MacBook. I do suggest not making the font- size any smaller though - it's already hard to read on a small laptop screen. Perhaps you could take out the ctcLink item that seems to appear another two times on that page - and is not on the inner pages AFAICT. -- Cordially, David David - can you tell me what the difference is with Macs that would do that? I don't have any macs to test on. Regarding the ctcLink in the left hand menu and the same in the top na v- this menu system is pulled from a single .xml file. The dropdown from the top nav menu (the blue bar) is exactly the same as what it appears in the local nav menu on the left (the green bar). I can't change that, so ctcLink appears twice. I'm sorry, but what is AFAICT? __ css-discuss [css-d@lists.css-discuss.org] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/

Navbars like yours will nearly always spread onto more lines in all my browsers because of my preferences for all text at easy readable sizes, and that a navbar drops a few items to next line is OK as long as navigation can still be understood and used. regards Georg __ css-discuss [css-d@lists.css-discuss.org] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/

I hope to hear a few more from this list chime in though. Did anyone else experience font rendering issues with IE9?
