(found a revert commit in git :P) + cosmetic, please apply wrap-and-sort -sa * debian/copyright: + forgot the debian/* license + the upstream license could be GPL-2+ as mention in the COPYING file * debian/watch: + I know you plan the watch file for the upstream first release but it could be changed later, for my suggestion is === 8 === opts=uversionmangle=s/^/0.0.0~/ \ http://ftp.netfilter.org/pub/libnftables/snapshot/libnftables-(\d\S*).tar.bz2 === 8 === just track the snapshot tarball, I know it's nonsense but it's not broken watch file :) * vcs-git: + cloned, the git buildpackage -S is failed. the upstream tag upstream/0.0.0_20131209 is missing. Bug#656343: ITP: ipset -- administration tool for kernel IP sets
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Neutron Soutmun neo.neut...@gmail.com * Package name: ipset Version : 6.11 Upstream Author : Jozsef Kadlecsik kad...@blackhole.kfki.hu * URL : http://ipset.netfilter.org/ * License : GPL Programming Lang: C Description : administration tool for kernel IP sets IP sets are a framework inside the Linux 2.4.x and 2.6.x kernel which can be administered by the ipset(8) utility. Depending on the type, currently an IP set may store IP addresses, (TCP/UDP) port numbers or IP addresses with MAC addresses in a way which ensures lightning speed when matching an entry against a set. If you want to * store multiple IP addresses or port numbers and match against the entire collection using a single iptables rule. * dynamically update iptables rules against IP addresses or ports without performance penalty. * express complex IP address and ports based rulesets with a single iptables rule and benefit from the speed of IP sets. then IP sets may be the proper tool for you. Note: As the package ipset has been removed from the Debian archive unstable with the reason as decribed in http://bugs.debian.org/651790 which the ipset fails to build against current kernel; no response from maintainer. But it's not a problem now as the ipset already included in the recent kernel , kernel 3.1 in wheezy/sid and also the 3.2 in experimental are fine, no needs to build any modules. Therefore, I intend to package and has already started (based on the latest ipset package that was removed and more updates). The package could be uploaded soon. signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Well, part of the reason I pointed you to that repository is the fact that there's a patch in there (for #557810) that conflicts with yours. It'd be cool if you could update it so that it would apply cleanly to that version, and then I can easily do an upstream release immediately followed by a Debian package. Are you working on that? If not, that's not a problem, I'll do it myself; it's just that it'd probably be easier for you at this point. But if you don't have the time, or are tired of it, or are working on something else, I'll finish this off. Sorry for late response, I have something else to do, but I still thinking of the solution for #557810 which the user parsing the hostname for listening address that case for example # nbd-server localhost:12345 `pwd`/nbd-file 1G -C /dev/null which localhost may resolve in both IPv4 (127.0.0.1) and IPv6 (::1) Therefore, I think that if I'm using getaddrinfo() to get each information and add to server listening pool only if it valid, it's better, isn't it ? Or localhost:12345 is only mean 127.0.0.1 port 12345 ? If it is this case, when parsing this command line should set the socket family to AF_INET. If now this case is ignored, I think I can prepare the patch for you which diff from git repository that I reviewed already that the patch does not conflict much. I test that hostname parsing is OK but only the first info that getaddrinfo() return could setup for listening. Bug#382189: IPv6 support
Package: nbd Version: 2.9.14-3 Severity: normal -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 The latest patch to master branch of git repository is attached. Please review the patch again. It's also solved the #557810. Add append_serve() more over the last patch to verify the parsing listening address which now the parsing listening address could be IPv4/IPv6 and also hostname. The service will resolve the hostname and try to listening on all of them. Indeed, that would be required for proper IPv6 support. However, I'd like to have some way of backwards compatibility. Since IPv6 addresses have at least two colons in them, we could check whether there are two or more, and if not, assume that the colon is still the separator. That shouldn't cause too much of a problem. Thanks for the patch, but please see the discussion about this option in the following thread: - http://lists.debian.org/debian-cd/2008/12/msg00063.html - http://lists.debian.org/debian-cd/2009/01/msg4.html Ahh, I am just another person who using simple-cdd that define ISOLINUX_DEFAULT to set the default of the debian installer menu, no more than that :) As you can see my opinion is that the option no longer has any real value and should probably just be dropped. Also, your patch does not cover the alternative desktop environment configuration files that we now have on quite a few images. If that is added the total thing becomes so complex that it IMO really is more trouble than it's worth. Thanks for your review, I only test it with amd64 graphical installer images and it seems to work but if it will issue more troubles, definitely be dropped. Unless very strong arguments can be given why this should be preserved, I plan to remove the broken existing code shortly. I'm not sure for the reason to preserve this option, just follow the information from the simple-cdd settings. May I have more information that I could follow the discussions about this ISOLINUX_DEFAULT should be dropped and what options may replace it, or the new concepts that better than this option. Thanks for the confirmation. Seems like 80_static-mutex-aliasing-warnings.patch breaks g_mutex_lock on amd64. Reassigning to libglib2.0-0. That patch can't break locking for NM. As Sebastien mentioned earlier, the changes can only ever have effect when you compile against the new glib. We need to debug this more on network-manager's side before starting to blame glib. I've made some debs[0] which should fix the dbus errors we're seeing in the NM logs. Which may or may not fix this issue, but it definately fixes some memory corruption. (I couldn't test this because i don't have machines with kill switches though...) So please everyone who can reproduce it, try these debs.. And if it still fails send in new NM logs :) Sjoerd 0: http://beast.luon.net/~sjoerd/NM/ Sorry, I'm not sure, what's the actually problem. I only test, follow the others' comments that downgrading the libglib to prior version and it's work.
