Hello and sorry for the time it took to me to reply... ZR I have the same problem, altough I would like to note, that it works ZR occasionally for me. That is sometimes nothing is there, then when I ZR return to the summary some feeds appear. I solved my problem installing dcoprss package (and so also librss1 package) and manually copying libkontact_newstickerplugin.la and libkontact_newstickerplugin.so into /usr/lib/kde3/. IMHO it would be useful if there were an intermediate option that let you keep messages on server for a nuber of days specified by user and then delete them. This can be useful for example when you download email via POP3 and you want to let them on server just in case you need them when you access your mailbox via webmail (but you don't want your message box fills itself) or when you receive spam and you want to mark messages as spam at your provider (with GMX I have to go to www.gmx.net, open the message and then mark it as spam). Some global statistics about Redmine usage would be nice, such as:
* total number of issues, open, closed...
* total numeber of documents, size...
* total number of wiki pages...
* number of users (by the way: another useful feature for a project manager
would be to send a mail to all users of a project and for an administrator to
all users of redmine, to warn about a server upgrade, shutdown... for example)
Just some ideas to make a project (Redmine) I like even better! :-)

The search engine in Redmine doesn't check inside documents (just titles and
description) and this would be really useful. Wouldn't it be possible to make
Redmine work with some search engine like mnogosearch that already do that? It
would be very interesting also because that way it would be possible to index
also stuff outside Redmine. Maybe there could be a setting into the settings
to choose between the internat engine or an external one.

Among others I follow some eBay RSS search results and feed2imap converts any item into an HTML email with the associated image inline. This way I get hundreds messages per day but when I read them with Kmail, images seems to be displayd randomly: sometimes the correct one, sometimes previous one... If I scroll through messages back and forward sometimes the same message displays a different image. A strange behaviour, it seems some ways images stay cached. Another point is that message expiration with permanent delete only for read messages, also deletes unread ones. Then, when I have to update them, I have to move them back to first location (after deleting the symlink), to do the update, to move to the second location and to do the symlink again. For sure there is a better way to do it and this is due to something I configured badly, but I don't know what. PS: in Wordpress forums I got this reply: Installing WordPress using apt results in symlinks and non- standard configuration files that almost always prevent updating WordPress through the dashboard, and the WordPress versions found in Debian repos are rarely up to date. Serving your web applications from the web root solves those issues.

That said for non-packaged plugins/themes, you should have the real files in /var/lib/wordpress/ and not symlinks... so I'm not sure what you are having trouble with. Is it only the dashboard-based update that is not working well for you? I'm speaking about plugins and themes updates, I agree about Wordpress being installed and updated in the Debian way. Some plugins don't work if I put them in /var/lib/wordpress/, most of themes doesn't as well. All they work if I put them in /usr/share/wordpress/ and then I make a symlink in /var/lib/wordpress/ to them. But then if I have to update them I have to move them back to usr, update, move to var and redo the symlink. Cheers, Matteo

Hello,
In SDDM login page I can't see active directory users that authenticate
through SSSD and that have a high UID (~16).
I set MaximumUid=17, but in "KDE System Settings" I see the
number cut at sixth cypher (17), so I'm wondering if also for the
check it could be the same.
Now I changed SDDM theme and I can login with my AD user manually
putting it into "Other users" page, but it's just a workaround.
