Hi, [ I have no intention to sponsor this package. ] libapr-memcache0 (0.7.0-3) stable; urgency=low * Switched to stable release No, please read about the use of the different suites in Debian and how packages migrate between them. [1] has a short description in the second half of the section. Also please don't include the ABI version in the source package name unless you know why you want to do so. How about doing it like it's done with the unrar package: According to packages.debian.org there are two pkgs. unrar unrar-free So I'd suggest name the free one slalib and the other one slalib-nonfree or vice versa (like the unrar example). Cheers, Björn 2012/2/8 Olе Streicher debian-de...@liska.ath.cx: Hi, the library I am working on in the moment (slalib, http://bugs.debian.org/659003) is an quite old Fortran library with a C interface and some (performance) drawbacks. I see VCS urls in d/control but they do not reflect the latest of your package, right ? 8. Re: RFS: policyd-weight

Thomas had no time to upload my package which I've uploaded on Januar 24th. You can still add a target in your debian/rules file to avoid doing it too many times :). See [1] for explanation for example about get-orig-source target. I read it a again, and it could useful for an other package: does someone know Debian packages using get-orig-source in d/rules ? However, as it is now, Debian cannot comply with the license terms to distribute the work at all, so it cannot go even into non-free. Is slalib the contents of libraries/sla/ in the repository you linked to? If so, it appears the current upstream is not the sole copyright holder, and there are many other contributors dating from 2004 for sla, and 1989 for the project as a whole (counting only versioned history). This means, it is illegal to distribute the obfuscated version for anyone (including current upstream), and anyone who buys the unobfuscated one can pass it further under GPL. Re: creating an orig.tar.gz from a CVS
Hi Jerome, does someone know Debian packages using get-orig-source in d/rules ? For example you can look at my package: https://github.com/tehnick/libterm-shellui-perl-debian/blob/master/debian/rules Nothing difficult. You can add any script or list of commands to get-orig-source section of makefile.
