-w ${dir_to_array[$array_dir_count2]} ] then echo Le répertoire temporaire n'est pas accessible en écriture error=6 fi until [ ${dir_array[$array_dir_count2]} == ] do if [ $error -eq 0 ] then ls_dir=`ls ${dir_array[$array_dir_count2]}` ls_dir=${ls_dir// /} for file in $ls_dir do file_org=${file/// } file_des=${file///_} input=${dir_array[$array_dir_count2]}/$file_org output=${dir_to_array[$array_dir_count2]}/$file_des if [ -d $input ] then echo $input is a directory dir_array[$array_dir_count1]=$input dir_to_array[$array_dir_count1]=$output if [ !

-- Post-Installation Setup Shared Libraries On some systems with shared libraries you need to tell the system how to find the newly installed shared libraries. The systems on which this is *not* necessary include BSD/OS, FreeBSD, HP-UX, IRIX, Linux, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Tru64 UNIX (formerly Digital UNIX), and Solaris. The method to set the shared library search path varies between platforms, but the most widely-used method is to set the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH like so: In Bourne shells (sh, ksh, bash, zsh): *LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/pgsql/lib export LD_LIBRARY_PATH* or in csh or tcsh: *setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/local/pgsql/lib* Replace /usr/local/pgsql/lib with whatever you set --libdir to in step 1. You should put these commands into a shell start-up file such as */etc/profile or ~/.bash_profile*. Some good information about the caveats associated with this method can be found at http://xahlee.org/UnixResource_dir/_/ldpath.html. On some systems it might be preferable to set the environment variable LD_RUN_PATH *before* building. On Cygwin, put the library directory in the PATH or move the .dll files into the bin directory. If in doubt, refer to the manual pages of your system (perhaps ld.so or rld). If you later get a message like: psql: error in loading shared libraries libpq.so.2.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory then this step was necessary. Simply take care of it then. If you are on BSD/OS, Linux, or SunOS 4 and you have root access you can run: */sbin/ldconfig /usr/local/pgsql/lib* (or equivalent directory) after installation to enable the run-time linker to find the shared libraries faster. Refer to the manual page of ldconfig for more information. On FreeBSD, NetBSD, and OpenBSD the command is: */sbin/ldconfig -m /usr/local/pgsql/lib* instead. Other systems are not known to have an equivalent command. 2010/9/18 Fabricio Cannini fcann...@gmail.com On Saturday 18 September 2010 02:27:42 Sorocaos . wrote: instalei primeiro o postgresql8.4 e depois o postgis1.5, e todas lib ficou em /opt/pgsql/lib $ ls /opt/pgsql/lib/postgis* /opt/pgsql/lib/postgis-1.5.so esta lá mas se tento rodar um : pg...@micro$ /opt/pgsql/bin/psql -f share/contrib/postgis-1.5/postgis.sql --port=5800 --host=localhost -d geomapas WARNING: nonstandard use of \\ in a string literal at character 263 HINT: Use the escape string syntax for backslashes, e.g., E'\\'. You can first check that duplex printing is an available option for your driver: *** lpoptions -p printername -l | grep -i duplex *** == # lpoptions -p printername -l | grep -i duplex Duplex/2-Sided Printing: *None DuplexNoTumble DuplexTumble == If it is listed there and you get no output when calling lpr, take a look into CUPS logs (/var/log/cups/*), maybe there is any error there Calling `lpr' gives simply nothing, but a blinking cursor. I hear that the libbdplus BD+ decryption library is maturing as well. AACS is broken, but few discs are protected using it. All recent discs ad BD+, AFAIK. Decrypting BD+ works when you have a key, but every time a BD+ key becomes known, they just switch to a new key. It's a losing game. I'm not interested in cracking protection, I just want to watch the movie, and do it under Debian, not Win/OS X/etc. (I have some old HD-DVD discs I would like to watch, as well. My optical drive can read those discs. The AACS crack works here, but the discs are not ISO standard, or at least they are not *nix-friendly. They can only be read under root, but VLC won't run as root. It's catch-22. Any advice?) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Iomega 2TB USB drive
Hi All I am still trying to get this USB drive to show up as an icon on the desktop and to show up under the toolbar 'Places' like my 8GB USB memory stick and my /new-disk hdb (115GB internal drive). I am using Debian Lenny with Gnome as a desktop. Here is my 'mount' display /dev/sda1 on / type ntfs (rw,errors=remount-ro) tmpfs on /lib/init/rw type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,mode=0755) proc on /proc type proc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) procbususb on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw) udev on /dev type tmpfs (rw,mode=0755) tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw,nosuid, nodev) devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,noexec,nosuid,gid=5,mode=620) fusectl on /sys/fs/fuse/connections type fusectl (rw) /dev/hdb on /new-disk type ext3 (rw,errors=remount-ro) binfmt_misc on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) /dev/sdb1 on /media/KINGSTON type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=hal,shortname=lower,uid=1000) After I type 'mount /dev/sda1 /mnt here is my mount display /dev/sda1 on / type ntfs (rw,errors=remount-ro) tmpfs on /lib/init/rw type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,mode=0755) proc on /proc type proc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) procbususb on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw) udev on /dev type tmpfs (rw,mode=0755) tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw,nosuid, nodev) devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,noexec,nosuid,gid=5,mode=620) fusectl on /sys/fs/fuse/connections type fusectl (rw) /dev/hdb on /new-disk type ext3 (rw,errors=remount-ro) binfmt_misc on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) /dev/sdb1 on /media/KINGSTON type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=hal,shortname=lower,uid=1000) /dev/sda1 on /mnt type ntfs (rw) So if I read this right the device is mounted. I noticed that I don't have a 'label' for sda1. How do I 'label' it without reformatting the drive? I don't know if this has anything to do with displaying the icon but it doesn't hurt to ask those who are more proficient in things like this. Secondly when I tried to follow the advice give to me by previous respondents I 'lost' Kingston USB stick display. The only way I can get it to show up is to select an earlier boot option. How do I 'delete' the first boot option or at least move the last option to the top of the list. Thirdly -- is there somewhere or somehow of capturing the messages that flash across the screen when booting up -- I see something that tells me that USB port 1 cant be enumerated and several other messages that may have something to do with my problem. I do not believe it is a hardware problem because booting a live distro on this computer such as Ubuntu shows the USB drive and it is accessible. Last thing -- what would I use to change the permissions on the sda1? My /dev/sdb1 (Kingston) shows 'user' as owner and group as root -- is 'permissions' a possible cause of my problem? Also looking at /mnt shows 'root' can access files only, group is root without access and others have no access. chmod 700 /mnt says 'read only file system' ls -ld /mnt shows dr-x-- 1 root root 4096 2010-09-17 08:53 /mnt Sorry is this is overly long but I would really like to resolve this problem so I can use this drive as storage. Which options depends on whether you are using GRUB legacy or GRUB2. is 'permissions' a possible cause of my problem? Conceivably. The order goes user, group, world If root is the owner, then non-root can't read, write, or execute from that directory. In fact, just doing an ls inside a directory requires execute privileges on that directory. 700 for owner root is probably not what you want. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Re: Re: Can't locate ndiswrapper module!
Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I'm running Lenny with standard Debian kernel 2.6.26-2-486, and in doing so was hoping to avoid having to compile ndiswrapper. However, I have now done so. (It was not fast!) Chris Bannister's comment about PCcard v. Cardbus may be an issue - the card is Cardbus, the laptop recognises the card with lspci, but I don't yet know if the laptop is fully Cardbus compatible. If I read Geoff Simmons correctly, the pre-compiled modules do not exist any more. My reference was to 'stable' distribution package of ndiswrapper-source on Debian website which suggests that the modules do exist. Seems as though that page needs updating to remove the reference. I note that the corresponding page for Squeeze has no reference to pre-compiled modules. Thanks again. I still have some work to do to see if I can get this card working.
