Same has Hetzner, it's offer are rolling, so today you may get something cheap that tomorrow won't be available. I can't find back something like what I got now. I pay for domain hosting at he.net and it includes a shell account and LAMP. But the Apache for both is likely limited to CGI scripts (e.g. you cannot load custom modules). A free or paid VPS gives you root access, and you can install/ configure whatever you want. But a VPS implies a host name and a DNS record, which implies a domain name and DNS hosting. David
