Du coup tous tes fichiers texte brut en français écrit avec le codage latin ne 
seront plus lisibles(les caractères accentués illisibles) en UTF-8 ! :(
Mais il y a des outils pour convertir latin vers UTF
Il faudra peut-être revenir en latin le temps de convertir tous les fichiers 
écrits avec des accents...

C'est en Fr parce que c'est la  : Langue du système
Dans le champs Langue de la config Edition-> préférence-> Interface

Si dans la home de l’utilisateur :
echo $LANG
N'est pas fr_FR.UTF-8 (ou un truc du genre)
Ca n'ira pas...

La version que tu souhaites est disponible dans unstable,
Si tu es sous stable, tu peux installer des paquets de la version
unstable avec le pinning, ce n'est pas tres compliqué, il faut se
mefier des paquets qui peuvent être "tirés" avec ton paquet désiré.
- il te faut modifier ton sources.list
- editer un fichier preferences
et utiliser "-t unstable" dans ta commande apt install et reflechir...

Une petite recherche apt pinning debian devrait te donner toutes les
clefs.

Amigo, buenas y si colocas repos debian estable y lo cargas solo ese
plugin, no es lo mejor pero aveces me ha funcionado con algunas librerias
que todavia no apacen.

Según este foro¹, sugieren que necesitas el paquete «gimp-python», pero 
efectivamente, ese paquete no está disponible para testing².

Si el filtro necesita algún paquete o biblioteca adicional, deberías informar 
del 
fallo en el BTS de Debian, para que lo corrijan (recuerda que estás con 
una versión de pruebas).

Dentro de ese plugin tiene varias herramientas, una de ellas que a mi me 
interesa es la heal selectión (quita objetos no deseados de las fotos, 
parecido al plugin que tiene photosohop).


Desde Debian 8 al instalar este plugin siempre ha estado y si vas algún 
tutorial de Gimp para ver como funciona se refiere a el en 
/filtros/realzar/. Pero ahora al instalarlo desde los repos en Debian 
bullseye no me aparece. He intentado hacerlo manual descargándolo desde 
la página web:

https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-plugins-collection/releases/tag/continuous
y ponerlo en la carpeta  /home/usuario/.config/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins pero 
tampoco me aparece o por lo menos yo no lo veo.

extensiones de todo tipo (filtros, complementos y scripts) para The Gimp,

I am running Buster and got problem with GIMP after recent update as well.
I get this message

"BABL version too old!

GIMP requires BABL version 0.1.56 or later.
Installed BABL version is 0.1.46.

Somehow you or your software packager managed
to install GIMP with an older BABL version.

Please upgrade to BABL version 0.1.56 or later."

  i made sure my current versions were updated and
i did the operations you've cited...

  why do you use Buster if you have urgent editing work?

  testing should not be used for production work, or at
least if you are expecting such needs make sure it works
before you get in a jam.

  i always keep a stable bootable partition for such

When in doubt, blame GTK. I have (in sid) had what are almost certainly 
GTK problems that seem to have affected just one application at a time
and been unique to me.

I'm sorry, I don't have an immediate answer, but I do feel your pain.
Seriously firsthand empathy when sound goes missing for video editing.
:)

Am writing to suggest trying to run it from a terminal window to see
if that helps at least give you some error messages to work with. It's
fresh in mind because I did that earlier with Thunar file manager just
to run as root user. Ended up accidentally uncovering some (missing)
flash related whoopsies I had caused to occur. :)

I installed the software-properties-common package and reran the
command.

I got this message this time "gpg: keyserver receive failed: No dirmngr"


sudo apt-get install dirmngr

should help  ;)

That command belongs to that package. "command not found" is pretty

Tu laisses le plugin iscan dans /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins comme cela se 
fait pour tous les plugins de gimp...

 Tu laisses le plugin iscan dans /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins
1) sauvegarder ta conf de gimp /.gimp-2.8 située dans le /home
2) supprimer  entièrement /.gimp-2.8 situé dans le /home
3) lancer gimp

Oui bien sur qu'il est installé vu que je l'utilise pour scanner.
Mon problème c'est que quand Gimp démarre il m'ouvre iscan et c'est pénible.

Squeeze sólo tiene la versión 2.6.10 (no hay una versión superior 
disponible en los backports) por lo que si quieres actualizar ese paquete 
tendrás que o bien usar la versión de wheeze (2.8.2) o bien descargarlo e 
instalarlo manualmente desde la página de The Gimp.

Pero salvo que te manejes bien con las dependencias/conflictos que te 
pueda generar usar un paquete como The GIMP desde los repos de Wheezy no 
te recomendaría actualizarlo.

Salvo que necesites urgentemente alguna funcionalidad que tenga la nueva 
versión, actualizar The GIMP no es fácil ya que es un paquete que 
contiene (y que depende) de versiones concretas de paquetes de 
bibliotecas que al actualizar te va a generar, casi seguro, conflictos 
con las que ya tienes instaladas.

No, para Squeeze no va a salir ninguna versión nueva salvo que la gente 
de los backports se animen a hacerlo (si estás interesado puedes escribir 
a la lista de debian-backports¹ para sugerirlo).

qué se comenta.

¿Qué has intentado hacer? En que paso te has quedado atascado? ¿Qué
problemas o errores te ha dado?
¿Has buscado en Internet antes de preguntar en la lista? ¿Qué has encontrado?
Por lo menos indica que versión de Debian usas.

Last I heard dbus was going strong - even looking at offloading work to
the kernel (harnessing existing kernel messaging systems e.g. netlink)
to improve performance.

I grudgingly use GIMP but wish I didn't have to.  Dependencies on DBUS

at all).  MyPaint, which has been packaged, looks like a possibly

I ask because in Wheezy marking dbus or gconf2 to be deleted do not 
seem to require GIMP to be removed so it may come from a secondary level 
of suggested/recommended package and thus can be avoided.

What I found after googling for five seconds:

   You can create /usr/share/applications/defaults.list with the following; 

   [Default Applications] 
   application/pdf=evince.desktop 

   Or append application/pdf=evince.desktop if defaults.list already 
   exists. 

   There is a per user defaults.list in ~/.local/share/applications as 
   well, which XFCE edits directly when you right click and change the 
   handling application.

Does Xfce follow the xdg specification? If so, you can see how xdg
specifies how it is done.  I don't recall everything off the top of my
head but there is a an environment variable (probably best set
via /etc/environment as not all DEs invoke .bashrc or .profile).  Mine
is set to
XDG_DATA_DIRS=/data/.Common/xdg/default:/usr/share:/usr/local/share::/opt/trinity/share/:/usr/share/

The part I don't remember is how to set up file associations in those
hierarchical directories but the XDG site must have that information. At
least I hope so because we'll need it in the next iteration of our

It is not elegant, but you could remove pdf from mimetypes that manage
gimp (/usr/share/applications/gimp.desktop) and rebuild the mime
database (update-mime-database)

Of course this is not the best solution, when you upgrade your system
you will get again the same behaviour

There is a bug (closed) [1] with that issue, maybe should be
reassigned to another package?

imagemagick permet également de réalisee le travail ...

en revanche, quel est réellement l'objectif final désiré ?

Avec Imagemagick, qui est sûrement déjà installé sur ton système, on 
peut faire un truc du genre (sur une seule ligne):


for i in *.jpg; do composite -gravity SouthEast -compose Over 
transparent.png $i cible/$i; done


Cela va prendre tous les fichiers retournés par *.jpg et les donner à 
traiter un par un à composite, qui est un des outils de ImageMagick, qui 
lui va leur appliquer l'image transparent.png en surimpression en bas à 
droite et au final enregistrer le résultat dans cible/. On peut 
travailler directement sur l'image sans faire de copie mais mieux vaut 
avoir fait des essais avant... Pour la création de l'image de 
surimpression avec gimp il suffit de créer une image de la taille voulue 
avec un fond transparent ('Options avancées' dans 'Créer une nouvelle 
image') et de l'enregistrer au format png par ex.

Non pas d'idée mais je t'ai déjà donné une piste pour que tu puisses 
démarrer avec ImageMagick si tu le souhaites mais ne compte pas sur moi 
pour la suite. Déjà qu'on est hors-sujet (mais bon çà change un peu de 
gnome3)...

I'm glad it worked out. To reply to the list/thread in balsa,
hit the reply button then replace the address of the recipient
with the address of the list.

If you put the list address in the address book and give it a
nickname, you only have to type in the nickname on the To: line.

Also, if you go into Settings/Toolbars... you'll see a Reply 
to Group button that you can add to the toolbar. I haven't 
been able to test it, but it might work.

Pour utiliser le fichier dans scribus, il s'agit d'une affiche à
destination d'un imprimeur, donc espace colorimétrique CMJN obligatoire.

La question est : pourquoi veux-tu passer en CMJN ?
Si c'est pour fournir un fichier à un imprimeur, ok, autrement ça n'a 
pas grand intérêt sauf pour des réglages trés fin de colorimétrie etc.


Quand à savoir que fairede s calques générés, c'est justement là la 
question : as-tu besoin d'une séparation des couleurs pour ce que tu 
veux faire ?

testing...
D'ailleurs je n'ai pas bien compris pourquoi gimp-print a été retiré avant que
gutenprint ne soit prêt?

J'apprécie énormément le travail que tu fais sur cette liste avec toutes 
les réponses que tu donnes, mais sur ce coup-là, il faudra que tu 
m'expliques...


Pour un serveur, il faut utiliser la version stable Sarge, mais pour 
un poste utilisateur bureautique que conseils-tu comme version de Debian ?

Sarge pourrais encore convenir en ce moment, car la mise à jour est 
récente, mais je n'aurais pas utilisée la Woody pour faire un poste 
bureautique il y a quelques mois. Et mettre une instable en production, 
me parait vraiment très risqué...

Trabalho com programação visual há algum tempo e estou rumando p/ linux mais
por
plataforma mesmo. Estava pesquisando sobre o GIMP e sua relação com o CMYK e
achei esse
tópico. Fiquei sabendo que no linux dá pra colocar o crossover no photshop 7
(versão que
por sinal muito boa, leve e com as ferramentas necessárias pra tratamento de
imagem
excelentes, já que as versões CS e CS2 é só enchimento de linguiça), acho
que isso resolve
por enquanto o fechamento de arquivos em CMYK, já que o GIMP não tem um
completo controle
sobre o CMYK. Outro ponto bastante interessante sobre o GIMP é que ele custa
R$ 0,01
(valor aproximado da internet e a luz gasta) e o photshop é bem carinho não
é mesmo?
Outro fato importante, é que o GIMP se adequa a nossa necessidade e não nós
a necessidade
do software.

 verstehe also nicht wieso gimp probleme macht beim compilieren.

Welches Paket hat Du installiert? Es sollte in jedem Fall mit -dev
enden, damit Du nicht nur die Libraries hast sondern auch die
Headerfiles die zum Kompilieren ntig sind :-)

die dev s sind drauf libglib2.0-dev version 2.4.6.
Eben deshalb verstehe ich es ja nicht.
Hab grad noch mal ein dpgk-reconfigure vom libglib-dev gemacht aber mit dem 
selben resultat.

Wenn ich zum Beispiel gimp aus der konsole starte dann bekomme ich:
Gtk-warnimg Locale not supported bc C-Library. Using the fallback 'C' locale.

fehlt da bei mir etwas damit ich s auf deutsch haben kann ??

Warum nicht apt-get install -t sid gimp? Das ist 2.2 ;-)
Wenn Du unbedingt selber kompilieren wills, hol Dir die Debian

möchte nicht allzuviele pakete upgraden  muessen, hab eine langsame

also ein dpkg-reconfigure locales hat mir mein deutsches Prob gelöst. Nun hab 
ich wenigstens mal Gimp 2.0 in deutsch.
