Probably we can assume this is true for freenode too, that by default is

[Bug 191765] [NEW] Nautilus should support mouse gestures

2008-02-14 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Mouse gestures add a new and very useful dimension to desktop
navigation. They can be used simply as a way to work more efficiently
and considered as an accessibility feature.

It has been a requested feature since 2001
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/nautilus-list/2001-May/msg00090.html

Present third party tools require some console work.

I'd like to add this to the wishlist.

Thanks,

[Bug 191730] Re: evince crashed with SIGSEGV in ps_interpreter_new()

2008-02-14 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or
challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these
instuctions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be
dealt with by the automatic retracer.

If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus
and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report
you wish to submit.
If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using
/usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in
a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report.

I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will
automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more
efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

[Bug 140862] Re: Nibbles with more than 1 human player causes invincible zombie worms

2008-02-14 Thread zoqaeski
Change that to if you’ve got any human players — when one of them runs
out of lives, they respawn as the aptly-named “zombie worms” which can
eat through walls and other players. Players which have not run out of
lives do not possess this capability.

Weird, but an awesome cheat mode (that alas, spoils some of the fun)

[Bug 191471] Re: Set System Time crashes Time Settings

2008-02-14 Thread Pedro Villavicencio
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or
challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these
instuctions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be
dealt with by the automatic retracer.

If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch
nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on
the crash report you wish to submit.

I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will
automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more
efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Re:[Bug 191806] Re: Zipping of only one selected file

2008-02-14 Thread Pavel
Hello,
thank you for quick reply.

We found, that this bug can be reproduced only with some type of files
(for example: *.dll file, *.exe or *.jar files *.zip files)
text files are working correctly

Note from me:
This looks that some (magic, or something similiar) looks into content of file.
And if magic found, that content is zipped, then is menu - item hidden.
But as I said, that is only my opinion.

Thanks,
  Pavel

[Bug 191828] [NEW] GNU Chess doesn't follow castling chess rules

2008-02-14 Thread Lieven
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-games

When playing a game of chess, I was able to castle when a piece of my
computer opponent was attacking the field over which my king was
castling. This is not allowed by the official chess rules. Furthermore,
my computer opponent didn't know what was happening and didn't move
again before he timed out. So, this is a simple way to win a game, but
of course is not a desired effect.

Below I'll attach the game.

[Bug 105190] [NEW] flump3dec (for gstreamer) is old and known to be buggy

2008-02-14 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3

The bug is that with some mp3's
(http://www.devteam.org/users/mccorkle/mp3/Chrono_Trigger_Black_Wind_Rising_OC_ReMix.mp3
is an example) the mp3 playback becomes muddy (listed to around
1:20-1:35 in that mp3 to hear what I'm talking about). It has been
fixed in the newer version of Fluend's mp3 decoder. I first reported
this bug to the songbird group, then tracked it up to gstreamer, and
those guys pointed out that the version of flump3dec is fairly old and
known-to-be-buggy. If someone could point me to a quick howto on
updateing the gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 package, I'd be happy to help.

Most recent bug hunting was in GStream's bugzilla:
   http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426976

Previous bug was on SongBird's bugzilla:
  http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2899

[Bug 191851] [NEW] error while playing a ogg file

2008-02-14 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

When i play a ogg file recorded in gtk-recordmydesktop via terminal it says:
** (totem:10150): WARNING **: Error connecting to D-Bus: Did not receive a
reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply,
the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired,
or the network connection was broken.

** (totem:10150): WARNING **: Failed to connect to the session bus: Did
not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did
not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the
reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

(totem:10150): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_value_set_fraction: assertion
`denominator != 0' failed

** (totem:10150): CRITICAL **: gst_video_calculate_display_ratio: assertion
`num 0' failed
The program 'totem' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
(Details: serial 70 error_code 11 request_code 141 minor_code 19)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
