Just to clarify this: Please don't be confused by my previous comments, the problem I mentioned there is clearly not the same as the one initially reported by Nick B. [Bug 205018] Re: Hardy - Doesn't detect Firefox 3.0 for web searches and bookmarks
I think Ohad's solution is pretty much as clean as one can hope for without an extension needed on the Firefox side... I am a bit worried about copying the entire DB though. [Bug 304869] [NEW] taskbar groups can't be reordered
Public bug reported: Normally, in the GNOME taskbar on Ubuntu Intrepid, you can reorder the taskbar buttons by dragging them around the taskbar. However, this doesn't work with grouped windows (such as the 4 spatial Nautilus windows I'm currently using). It should be possible to drag the whole group to another place in the taskbar. For example, this is my panel at the moment: http://img3.imagebanana.com/img/057bv5kn/BildschirmfotoOberesKantenPanelausge.png (that's the German localisation, in case you wonder) I wanted to have Irssi and Firefox at the beginning of the list, so I tried to drag the Dateimanager button (i.e. Nautilus), but the only thing that happened was opening the menu to choose from one of the Nautilus windows. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- taskbar groups can't be reordered https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/304869 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I, also, am running Max's workaround. The odd thing is that even if you do what he suggests in gnome-session-properties, you'll still see the Gnome keyring wrapper daemon running on the machine. However, it will stop messing with ssh keys, and the standard ssh-agent commands will then work to let you manipulate keys in the usual way because ssh-agent is running. Re: [Bug 272083] Re: Zenity windows appear underneath others
Ladies and gentlemen, instead of adding an argument, --focus, to cause the Zenity dialog to steal the focus, I believe that stealing the focus should be the default behavior. Instead, please add an optional argument, only for use when there is a need to prevent the Zenity dialog from stealing the focus. This will prevent all who have come to depend on a Zenity dialog appearing on top of all other windows from having to rewrite all of their scripts. It seems that the vast majority of users want Zenity dialogs to appear on top of all other windows by default. The need for an extra argument should only apply to the minority of users--those who don't want the Zenity dialog to steal the focus. Perhaps this argument should be --subdue. Thank you to everyone who is working on this, for my hat is off to you. On 12/3/08, zettabyte [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I modified the source to provide a --focus argument.
