From IRC (09:31:26) klattimer: xkl_engine_save_state triggers a state-changed signal, which then calls a function which xkl_engine_save_state's again, ad infinitum This is most likely the cause, I'm looking into this and also a memory leak which may be one and the same bug. [Bug 542635] Re: Rhythmbox can't be minimized to tray
I'm just an interested user, but I find the current maverick (packages up to date) behavior counter-intuitive. It is possible I am alone in this but maybe not. Consider: Start RB from Sound Indicator in the tray Start some music playing Now - I would hope to be able to minimise Rhythmbox back to the Sound Indicator and have the music continue playing however ... Minimising rhythmbox obviously minimises to the panel Clicking the cross obviously closes the window This feels normal and expected There doesn't appear to be a way to minimise to the sound indicator. The 'Status Icon' plugin does what it says on the tin and works, but I guess the thing is I don't see the point in having a separate RB tray icon alongside the sound indicator functionality? -- Rhythmbox can't be minimized to tray https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/542635 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 626732] Re: Movie Player crashes whenever i try to load video
Thank you taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, processing the crash report to get detailed information for the developers failed as the retracer did not generate a useful symbolic stack trace. Please try to obtain a backtrace manually following the instructions at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and upload the backtrace (as an attachment) to the bug report. This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem. ** Changed in: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Medium ** Changed in: totem (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- Movie Player crashes whenever i try to load video https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/626732 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
